4 attempts to just the persons home. 2 times even indicated house was dark and no sign of anyone yet still tried to serve. We needed someone that could put in some effort to go to their home or work. For the price paid definitely not matching the effort given. Our case and ability to get resolution is now in hold.

If there would be 0 or -1000 stars I would give them. Stay away from this company. Awful service, no updates, even when paid for the same day service - no one cares. Could not even serve the willing to be served and waiting for their arrival person with all of the contacts done.

I have read all the other reviews and I had no idea how literally CUT THROAT the Process Server industry has gotten. Let me tell you this is a 100% genuine review. Here goes: For this story, well call the woman I had served Raquel.. I had actually served Raquel earlier in the month in the mail using form POS-040 PROOF OF SERVICE - CIVIL. Thats the form you use to mail them the court forms. The only catch is they have to sign it and send it back. Without their signature, it is not good service. That little tidbit of information is literally the last sentence on that wall of text that explains how to use the form. I had sent Raquel a bound copy and an official copy to the place she was currently couch surfing. Fast forward, to using the serve company less than 24 hours before the court date and shes taken off with the kids somewhere in town so she can try to stick us with a $1,500 fine for bad service. Then, we had a clandestine phone call, from one of the children shes on the run, with to let us know where she was. These guys got to work right away and they got her served the same day. BAM!!! Love love love love love these guys. Im in the process of using them again to issue Temporary Custody Orders to rescue these babies. Its been so hard because were 250mi away from San Diego. Until I started using these guys, I had to drive down there with my toddler, get a hotel, and chase down all the forms and everything. F**K that! I have these guys on speed dial.

The people are professional and care about the service they provide.They are awesome, knowledgeable and amazingly helpful.

They got the job done. But nil on communication and very slow returning proof of serve. After I paid them, I waited the 3 days to see if they served them. I never heard anything. I had to call them to find out my party had been served. My court case is coming up in a few weeks. I needed that processing serving paper work mailed back to me right away. They took another 6 days to get in the mail. I requested it on January 28th. The mail stamp was dated Feb. 3rd.My case has two people I had to serve. One in San Diego and one in LA. My process server in LA was awesome. Served the next morning and my proof of service arrived in to my house in SD two days later.

Yolanda helped me out and I was extremely pleased. She was very nice and professional, and she made the process very quick and easy!

Got the job done on time, very good and fast communication and great prices.

Ive depended on their service for 2 years now and I always go to my old email to pull up their service email and use them again because they have always come through even in the unincorporated areas of Ramona. They have been very dependable and I wouldnt hesitate recommending them to anyone from my experiences and I feel compelled to leave this review for them.

Terrible Company! Aloof and flakey!! They are very careless with paperwork and they forgot to email and mail me my proof of service. I had to remind them. Yolanda is very rushy rushy and not very friendly to resolve issues with. Go with another serving company that has much better reviews then this one

My company relies on San Diego Service of Process for all of our service needs. (Several per month) and have consistently found their service and attention to detail to be excellent. Very very happy to have found a company I can trust to get the job done!

Never used them, but I highly suggest you dont either. Received an email from SDSOP. It was made 100% to look like it was from them. The email stated that I needed to sign and review documents. Clicked on the link, it requested my email and phone number, again made to look like it was a Gmail request. I realized the URL was not google at all. When I called to let them know, the receptionists response was, Yes, all the emails went out to our clients who have actually used us. Weve been hacked. Do not open it. It could be a virus. After speaking to two supposedly higher ups (both of whom were annoyed by my concerns - their response was one big shoulder shrug), one said, Ive just been told this didnt even come from our email, so this conversation is over as if somehow the fact that their hacker used a fake email address makes it okay that they lacked enough security to keep their clients safe. WARNING: If you use this service, clearly they have no ability to protect the information you give them. And when a security breach happens, they casually shrug their shoulders and move on.

I just noticed all the bad reviews and even though I dont usually do this I feel like I have to. I was looking up their phone number at my new job when I noticed all the negative comments.I have used them for the past 3 years in my prior office. When I first started working there, another company had a difficult time serving a defendant who lived in an exclusive gated community. We switched to San Diego Service of Process and they nailed it on the first try. After that, I used this company probably 4 or 5 times each year.I have never had a problem with the work they have done. There was never an issue with a POS being filled out incorrectly, or taking too long to serve. They have even given me information when I wasnt sure how to subpoena a witness who works for the government. When I needed service outside of the area, they provided me with a referral, who also worked out well. I have never had an issue with the staff when I phone to check on pricing.

My firm used SDSOP twice to serve Court docs from AZ in Chula Vista in August/2018. Both times, service was timely and top notch, communications were prompt and courteous (with 3 different employees), and fees were reasonable. Their online order form is easy to negotiate, easy to upload service docs, and payment was a breeze. Highly recommend SDSOP.

Horrible customer service. Paid for service but papers didnt get served. Went with a different company who didnt give me the run around and actually was able to serve the papers for a fraction of the cost.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. DO NOT USE THEM. They dont know the meaning of customer service and they are downright rude. If youd like to be cussed out for their mistakes, pay them. Also, you might as well serve the person yourself because they gave the person I hired them to serve ALL MY INFORMATION. From my address to where I worked, they gave them all of my information. All of it. And didnt even apologize at the very least. Also the server left a business card to notify the person they were coming for them- genius. The person called me and told me everything before threatening me and then when I called SDPOS, they confirmed- while yelling at me, she blamed confusion. Thanks to this pathetic excuse of a business, I have to deal with this now. They refused to give me my $70 refund for the mistakes they made and the garbage owner (if you can call him that) Paul Wysong told me I dont give a rats ass and tried to kick me out when I asked for my refund politely, he has anger issues for sure. From phone conversations to in person, he was disgusting. Do not pay these scumbags. Let them go out of business.
