I feel so fortunate that I got connected with Christy Fogarty at Adelaides piano services. Early in the summer, I bought a 30-year-old Kawai baby grand, which came with a free tuning by Christy. When I watched her work, I was totally blown away by the care she took in getting it tuned perfectly. Setting up the appointment and everything was also easy and she was very responsive with that part.One of the things about a 30-year-old piano is that it needed voicing. So we scheduled that and she took great care in the process of homogenizing the brightness of all of the notes by making the felt on all the hammers the same thickness. Now my piano plays so beautifully and Im so proud of the way it sounds that Im recommending her to everyone I know who has a piano. On top of her professionalism though, shes just really a good soul and I always prefer to do business with people who are professional, but also thoughtful and personable.As long as I have a piano in San Diego, I cant think of a reason I would ever go anywhere else then right back to Christy for tuning in anything else that it needs. She even made me a custom string cover out of really nice felt to protect against dust and humidity. Im just so absolutely thrilled and I would recommend her to anyone.

Christy was awesome! Our piano was in serious need of a good tuning, and she was very thorough and professional. She was also very friendly! After the tuning, our family was able to enjoy some beautiful piano music, which was especially important when we were unable to do a whole lot else! Fantastic experience!

Christy Fogarty was so great to work with. I hadnt tuned my piano in 14 years since it was new and she brought the incredible sounds back to life!I recommend her highly!
