Our daughter was born with clubfoot which requires her wearing a corrective boots and bar to help with the correction. Sarah Riddar with Active Life Orthotics is a fantastic member of her care team, knowledgeable about clubfoot, and is a great advocate for her patients! We love working with her!

My son has severe autism and we were referred to Active Life for AFOs to address his toe walking. In a normal situation going to the doctor isnt easy or fun for a kid with autism. The experience we had on Monday (1/7/19) with Madonna was above and beyond any experience we have ever had at a doctor. She explained everything to my son, answered all of his questions (including why she wears her hair up) and we really had the best time. The front receptionist was helpful and very accommodating and they even saw us early. I cannot say enough good things about Active Life. I highly recommend it to anyone and especially special needs families in San Diego.UPDATE!!!! We got new AFOs started this past Monday 10/5/2020 and got to see Madonna again. Everything was perfect as usual. I wanted to assure folks that she a d her staff are doing everything to be safe during COVID.***************I also wanted to address the 1 star review. That particular person isnt working there anymore and they have 2 new receptionists which I love. Im really sorry that happened to you, but I suggest you give Madonna and Active Life another try.***************
