Great practice studio! The rooms were well equipped and had good sound. The price was a little higher, but I rented the more expensive room (to be expected). Very friendly staff too. Highly recommend.

I’ve been to several practice spots in San Diego and have had a pretty good experience at most of not all. This place is great. The rooms are a good size, equipment was clean and sanitized, and everything sounded great. The spot is a little tucked away behind soma and can be a bit tricky to get into but parking is a breeze and once you figure it out it’s way easy to get to. I highly recommend this spot for bands that want a cool place to practice. Price is pretty decent for what you’re getting.

Only been a few times. Im learning the trumpet so go in occasionally to give my girlfriend/neighbours a break from the noise! Everyone in there is super friendly and helpful, and the price for a solo room is pretty good if you book via a pre-paid session card. All the rooms seem well kitted-out, though I dont actually use any of the kit. Would def recommend.

Both of my kids take music lessons here and they love it! The staff are so wonderful and encouraging and their teacher Kevin is an absolute pro. A great place for musicians of any age and experience level!

This place is awesome for any and all musicians - the gigging bands, the solo musicians looking for a quiet place to write or rehearse their songs. They’ve got everything you could need from small but breathable spaces to larger and more stage-like rooms.The staff is also extremely friendly and understanding. My band showed up on time to load into our rehearsal space and the band before us happened to be taking an extremely long time to get out of the room so Chris working the front desk just upgraded us to a larger room (without us asking or complaining) for the same price in order to get us going on time. - high class move. Easy to make an appointment. The kit was all setup prior to my arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great kit and cymbal setup. Tuned well and almost exactly how I like the setup.Well done!

Booked Rock and Roll San Diego for the first time after hearing other people rave about it. It exceeded expectations. Our band is full of green musicians prepping for our first gig and we needed a rehearsal spot. Shantel was so nice and patient with us. She taught us how to avoid feedback in mics, answered all our newby questions and was just awesome. We booked The Side Room. It had great equipment, great sound and fit our 5 piece band with ease. Online booking was a breeze. I had never been to their website before and managed to complete the booking within 5 minutes. This will be our regular jam space going forward. A hidden gem in San Diego.

It is always a pleasure rehearsing at Rock and Roll San Diego. Asuer, Alex, Christopher Anthony, and every employee has always gone out of there way to see to our needs. Our band AndEver doesnt have a monthly lockout at this time. But weve taken care of our auditions and our regular rehearsals at RRSD at least once per week! It feels like our home studio that is how comfortable we feel with the variety of rehearsal rooms and the staff that is always down to help us!! Thank you for offering all the services you do. It is conveniented located and we intend to use RRSD to ready our band for gigs and more!
