My Dad and my second time renting here. This time taking out the Ducati Monster and Supersport. Our awesome time on the bikes was made only better by the great friendly service and quick check-out. We rented from Eagle Rider a few years ago and the experience with Cycle Visions put them to shame. We will definitely be back, thanks for the great time!
Put a deposit on a rental for 4 days out, tried to cancel it only about an hour later and they denied it. So, God forbid you whoopsie a reservation you wont be able to make it to. Guess they make their money somehow, absolute trash.I get it if someone cancels last minute after making the reservation a week ahead of time, that would cost them business. I tried to cancel it literally an hour later and they took my money, felt like I got robbed. So here you go guys, my $100 bought you a s**t review.
These guys are great. Made our trip super easy to plan, even came through with some recommendations for great Mexican food! Bikes were well maintained and check in/out process was straightforward. The even let us do our paperwork the night before and pick up the bikes a little early. Fantastic service, cant recommend enough!
I rented an Indian Chieftain this weekend and the experience was professional and quick. These guys were well prepared and walked me through the process so I was well informed. The bikes are well maintained and low mileage, which provided me with a great deal of comfort on my 6 hour journey. I would use Cycle Visions again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a super day in San Diego area.
Good selection of motorcycles to ride. They got helmets and everything you need for your rental.
Staff at Cycle Visions were extremely helpful and courteous. Got me situated on a comfortable bike (Im only 5 1 so it can be a challenge to find a bike that fits me) and I was ready to go out and enjoy my ride in about 15 minutes. Rented a Super Glide today and had a beautiful ride up the coast. Rental was for 24 hours but I returned same day. I will definitely be back.
The only shop Ive found in San Diego that has a bike for every ability. Harley Davidson, Triumph and Indian for the connoisseur. Honda Rebel for the beginning motorcyclist. Reasonable rates include insurance: no hidden cost. Rented for my daughter and she is working her way up as she gains experience. Friendly service.
Awesome place, awesome staff!
Great rental experience. Off street parking lot, friendly, professional service. We rented a Harley Roadglide and took a nice ride out to Julian. Bike went well and Ken was great to deal with. Highly recommend!
Chill place and easy to do business with. Rental bike was awesome, clean and very reasonable. The process was seamless and efficient. The staff was fun to joke with and down to earth. Refreshing to find a shop with east coast attitude.
Great experience with great staff. Rented the can-am sypder so worth the trip and the rental
Good service!
Excellent motorcycle shop. Clean, very well stocked with superior merchandise. Great selection of mint condition used street bikes. They also rent motorcycles. Worth stopping by, if only to get a T-shirt and browse...
Before I got my own bike again I would always rent a Harley from them to get my “fix”. The owner is awesome. Very friendly! I’m going try get service work done by them and will be able to update my review on that part of the shop as well. Great Place.
I love this place. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They dont try to sell you things you dont need and are honest and willing to help any way they can. I come here for all the fluids and parts I need and have never had a bad experience. These guys are awesome.
Which I had some pictures to share from the sweet riding I got in. Randy and team were great to work with. I rented a Bonnie T100 and it was great. Appeared to be in great condition, I put over 500 miles on it in two days and had no issues or concerns with the bike itself. Everything was as advertised on the website etc. no hidden fees etc. I would and already have recommended this place for others.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They answered all my questions in regard to my build.
Awesome service, great inventory and an enthusiastic owner. What more could you ask for? Rented a Harley and it was in beautiful shape. Pricing is about market rates considering this is San Diego. Rode up into the mountains and then back down the shore. Totally worth the price of admission.
Awesome Place in San Diego to rent motorcycles. The Owner is down to earth and very helpful (e.g. planning the perfect tour for a day trip). Prices are reasonable, the bikes in a very good shape. A definite recommendation!
Cycle Vision is the best place to rent a clean, well maintained, new motorcycle hands down!Ken welcomed me and my friend day of and was so helpful, gave us some tips on where to ride... he rocks! We flew in from east coast and wanted to ride with a friend we were visiting and we had the best time. The bikes at cycle vision are great, perfect selection for all types of riders. Nothing but good things about my expirence! I will rent again there and only there when I visit San Diego! yeah
Rented one of their Slingshots. Great service. Vehicle was in great shape.
I have only dealt with them on my motorcycle repair which has been mostly Jesus and a little bit with Ken. I can only say honest and fair which excels most of my needs these a days!! If I have a problem on my bike in future they are going to be the first call I make!!One more thing I feel to mention is that anyone feels comfortable going to a dealership if you have bought the bike from them and is still under warranty. In my case not that option. I went to them because they have a business aside from that which ( which I feel) makes them a better .
Awesome experience renting from this shop will definitely rent here again. Not one complaint very friendly very accommodating Will definitely rent from this shopI’m the near future again.
I walked in to get my brake fluids flushed out. Ended up having my triple tree replaced here, and then some other work as well. Walking into Cycle Visions was probably one of the best moves I made. Their prices are very reasonable (they blew Harley Davidson out of the water) and they got my bike fixed in a timely manner. Their mechanics do awesome work, and their entire staff is very friendly. Also, its conveniently near my place of residence. I now know who to go to if my bike needs some TLC, and I recommend anyone to take their motorcycle there for repairs as well.
Amazing engine rebuild. After being referred by a friend and several conversations with Randy and Jesus, I decided to have Cycle Visions rebuild the 103 Twin Cam motor on my 2012 Harley Road Glide which had 90K miles on it. They gave me recommendations, completed the project earlier than estimated, dyno tuned it and the resulting performance is, WOW! These guys know what they are doing, are straight forward and pleasant to deal with and I could not recommend them more highly.
I have only had contact with them through online orders, but WOW. They have the best customer service you could ever ask for. I payed my bike down and lost a screw from my sissy bar. When I called them to see how much it would be to get a set of screws Debbie had me give her my address and sent a set free 1st class mail. From now on any parts I buy I’m going to check them out first.
Ken helped us and he was awesome!
Great customer service!
Rented an Indian Chieftain and the three key elements were exceeded. 1) the bike was spotless and very well maintained. It ran perfectly. 2) The folks at Cycle Vision were really accommodating, friendly and did not charge me for the overage on miles and 3) the price was fair and they stuck to the price as advertised - no surprises. I recommended Cycle Visions highly and cannot wait to rent from them again.
I made a RVSP for my friend and their license was suspended, i called and they said they could help it wasnt a problem because hey, Hello you cant drive without a suspended license. After making me wait a whole week, Wouldnt respond to email, they decided NOT to give me back my money. Great service.
Amazing shop, great mechanics. Always on time. The owner and staff will give you the perfect advice. Thanks for all your help. Larry.
Good place to rent motorcycles. I tried out an Indian Chief Vintage. A helmet is included in the rental, but they also have a jacket and gloves to rent out in case you need them. Staff was friendly and took the time to explain all the terms of the rental.
Good bikes for rent. Great rental rates, customer service, nice staff. My buddy and I enjoyed riding their triumphs. Ken took good care of us and gave us suggestions where to ride. Definitely worth it.
I rented a Harley Sportster Iron in June 2019 for one day. Ken, the person who rented me the bike, was professional and courteous and I dont have any complaints. I would recommend this place to anyone renting a bike in the San Diego area. I would also suggest hitting up Otay Lakes Road, the Skyline Truck Trail, and to watch that your navigation app doesnt route you through a Mexican border crossing without warning if you plan on riding anywhere near the southern border.
Rented the Ducati Supersport. Great bike and not one you typically see for rent. Bike was all set to go when I got there. Check in & out process fast and easy. Would not hesitate to rent from them again.
Ken was awesome, detailed, and a joy to work with. I had a great time driving the Slingshot all up and down PCH. Its definitely a thrill seekers dream. To top things off we arrived to drop the Slingshot off early, with an hour to spare, so Ken recommended us to Perrys cafe down the street. Perrys was definitely a great choices just like Cycle Visions!
Good service & a lot better prices than Harley Davidson!
We have rented a bike from Cycle Visions twice and have had a top notch experience both times! The rental process was super easy and both bikes were almost brand new. Ken made sure we knew what needed to know about the bike and the area. We are looking forward to renting from them again.
If you need it they probably have it. Ca deffinitly get it. Also have motorcycle rentals and powder coating swaps.
Rented the Thruxton for a day. The bike was in excellent condition, clean, solid, felt like a personal motorcycle not a rental one. They have very honest price, under what youll pay elsewhere. The staff are very professional, confidence inspiring and friendly too. They want you to have a great day of riding.Thank you cycle visions.
Great place to rent a bike and the staff were really helpful.
First rate experience! Greeted as soon as I entered the establishment. Ken was quick to provide recommendations without selling the product. Obviously a business that respects the customer/business relationship. Thanks. SF.
Great shop, impressive customer service from knowledgeable, friendly staff. Randy went beyond anything expected to get me back on the road. In my 20some years of riding and countless experiences with bike shops, cycle visions is bar none one of the best.
I rented a Honda Rebel from Cycle Visions and it was a great experience. They were easy to work with, had the bike ready to go, released the deposit quickly and were super friendly to boot! Ill definitely use them again for rentals and any service I may need.
Great bikes. Well taken care of. Randy and Jen were great to work with.
Randy and his team are amazing!Thank you for all your expertise and time helping me organize my trip.*** This place is a real asset to the motorcycling community. ***
Great place. Rented an Indian scout toured socal. Geat bike. Great service. Would definitely recommend to friends
Most friendly and helpful staff Ive ever met. Prices are amazing, even more so after going other places. I will never go anywhere else.
Hands down an awesome experience. Ken really has it together! His bikes are always clean and well maintained, and pickup and dropoff are a breeze. Good selection of rides to choose from, competitive rental prices, and a 10% discount for returning customers.
I ran into Cycle Visions looking for a new gas cap, the guy behind the counter was one of a kind, cool, helpful, and he new his parts,Randy gave me the full tour,Wow they had everything and it was in stock, no special ordering, after we maxed out my VISA card with some great new accessories for my Road King, he dragged my bike around back to a service bay and had my parts installed.Cycle Vision Rocks but be careful if you are just looking for a gas cap and you have your visa card with you this place is Dangerous.Road KingLarry
Wonderful inviting atmosphere, everyone there was extremely kind and helpful. I was asked almost five times by different people if I was being helped as I meandered around their interestingly furnished shop. I was treated nicely even though I ride a sportbike! I actually ride a Ninja 250r like a previous reviewer and I didnt expect them to help me because they are very clearly a Harley shop. But my kickstand was bent and they welded it right in front of me in no time! They barely charged me too. Nothing but good things to say about Cycle Visions.
Cool fools, good times. Will do what it takes for your ride.
Nice selection of bikes to choose from. Prices are fair, no hidden fees.
Three things: Easy to reserve a bike on line. Quality bikes to choose from, and helpful, nice staff to get you on the road. Thanks!
Great staff. Quality bike. Good value.
Rented a Triumph Bonneville T120. Great guys and everything performed well.
This place is very cool, Randy and his staff are excellent at repairs and modifications, Great parts selection, They are excellent Harleys mechanics, You cant go wrong good people..
I rented a Triumph Thruxton from Cycle Visions. The service from the team there was excellent and the bike was in perfect condition. What a great way to spend a couple of days in and around San Diego. I recommend route 78 out through Julian and into the Anza Borrego Desert, plus the Coast Highway up through to Carlsbad.
My cousin from Brazil rented a brand new Harley. He was very impressed with the kind attention and service.
Sad to say that after many years of great service in both parts and service. I could always rely upon their honesty regarding repairs and no use of overlap charging. If they said it needed doing, Well I did it. My last visit was anything but pleasant. I was very displeased with the service provided by one of their new mechanics. In simple words, he attempted to rip me off. I dont blame the service department as a whole, only the new mechanic who lacks integrity. I was told I would be refunded part of the money. later I was told I could no longer use their repair service. I prefer not to be treated as such and politely told them they can keep both their money and their lack of respect for a customer. Good luck. I believe it only fair to admit that I was very vocal when I stated if im going to get f..... I should at least get a kiss on the cheek first. If this bothered them, then they need to learn to deal with it. It goes with the life style.Rebuttal:Clearly Jesus did not tell you the whole story. First off You did not do all of the work, you forgot the rear brakes. I was not complaining about doing the work. It was the charge for the alleged electrical inspection you allegedly said was done. When in fact you did not spend more than 30 minutes on it. In fact you lied about what you allegedly said it needed. You quoted me 8 hours at $1000.00 to repair. You Chuy said the mechanic told you it was a wire break half way up the handle bar.I had the bike fixed by another very reputable shop and it was in fact a break at the connections outside the bars where I suggested it was. Total time 2 hours. To all those who read this. The owners and Randy is a great individuals to deal with and I have no problems with anything they ever done before this incident. But, Jesus Chuy lied and when confronted tried to double talk his way out. later you called me back, apologized and said you realized you were wrong and told me you were going to refund $100.00. I told you then that the money was not the issue, but your honesty was clearly in question.I wonder if Randy knows the whole truth?Jesus, Dont try to sweep it under the table. You were wrong. Your excuse was that You were all alone that day and you really didnt know what the mechanic did. Well like I said keep the money. Integrity is more important. Money I can make. Honesty is very hard to find and a reputation should be protected at all time. Good luck I hope you learn something from this. This is not the first time you have misrepresented facts to turn things your way.Randy and the others, Thanks for all the past service. Sorry my language offended the other young man renting the bikes, but after all, it is a Harley shop and it goes with the territory. I did not know it would offend him so much. Lenny
Loved the experience.
Great customer service and a great variety of parts and information
Despite the friendly and welcoming attitude of the staff, they have the Knowledge, value and designs to satisfy anyones taste for there Ride.
I met Randy Aron at Cycle Visions back in 2001. Best Luck I ever had!!I had got hit on my Harley, she sat in a dealership for 3 weeks with no pricing or attention, and they told me maybe you will get your bike in 3 months.Called Randy, he said get your bike over here and Ill have you back on the road in a week, we may have to wait on new tins though. With an entire New Front End and Chrome Exchanges and adjustments for my cast.I was back Riding my baby in Four Days!Randy and Cycle Visions are my Shop, they have Customized and Built my Engines on all my Harleys since 2001.Great Shop & Personel!!
These guys are always helpful. Their service is great along with the prices
I had stopped in to Cycle Visions to inquire about handlebar installation. After my conversation with them i knew this was the place to get it done. They are seriously genuine motorcyclists who do outstanding work for an affordable cost instead of trying to empty your pockets. I dropped my motorcycle off in the morning and it was done the same day. They also have a pretty big inventory on just about any accessory that are most commonly found online only. Stop by and you will be suprised and their customer service and knowledge is top knotch. I will definately stop by again in the future. I would highly recommend their service to anyone in the local area.
I went to the shop to pick up some shifter for my roadglide as i pull in the parklot I noticed my clutch was going out this has happen before and thought I fix it the day before so I guess while Im here at cycle visions I can ask if they can adjust my clutch for me mybe Im doing something wrong...and i need to get right before my trip to AZ in couple if days well guess the shop owner randy said no problem we take care of you so takes my bike first thing he did was check the clutch and told everything look in order and mybe the bearing is going bad and i my need to replace the 15 dollar part before it locks up on me i ask well how much for the job he told I dont want to give a bullshit price so do some calculation and the cost is like 300 dollars, I dont know exact number so I said fine go ahead and fix the bike as he is doing the work on bike i said a can you look at a oil leak from transmission to see where it is coming from told me no problem, tells me my bracket to my pipes and transmission where broken and problem thats my leak so go head an fix the problem and why you are there support brackets need a touch of welding to fix them too and he told me it well be no problem I said okay, well shop puts my motorcycle back together and randy takes it on a test ride he comes back immediately and i ask did that fix it he says no we are looking at one more thing. randy walks from the back of the shop asking me whos working on your bike last ...who ever it was dont let them touch your bike anymore. O wow i ask randy whats wrong with my motorcycle he saids the bolt that holds on the clutch basket assembly was loose and need to be tightened thats what was wrong with my clutch and everything is fix now. said how much for the work he gave me a bill of 500 plus dollars.was I cool with price no but his prices is his prices, did I complain about price no but randy ask me how i feel about it and i told him well the price kind of hurt just little bit but they are your prices and I will pay that.so randy discount price i paid him 400 dollars but randy told me he cant work on my bike anymore because I was not satisfied with his price. well after all that my trip was couple days later and i didnt even make to yuma AZ before my clutch goes out again in middle of the desert for same problem that randy claim to have fix and my last mechanic didnt know what he was doing ...all it needed was red lock tight and 80 lbs of torque to fix it. so spend 400 dollars in your shop and you RANDY tell me not come back to shop because I was not satisfied. my club Brothers and i fixed my motorcycle on the freeway in middle AZ desert for 50 bucks and yes I do still have that oil leak... thanks alot randy for wasting my time my money and for attitude and disrespect
Quick, easy and friendly
