I have had only positive experiences with Einstein including Lindsey, Brittany, Saeng, Kyle and Shaun. They are. all anything but corporate slick. I at first felt that the website they designed for me was rather spartan compared with my previous site but I have come to appreciate the design for its marketability and google prominence. My previous site maybe drew in 2-3 patients a year. Ive gotten 3 new patients in my first 2 weeks. Yes, they are not inexpensive and additional services add to the cost. However the basic product they offer is more than adequate and so far worth the cost. Kudos to them.

I have had a terrible experience with this company. They told me I could back out of the contract within 30 days if I no longer needed the website, and then they refused to refund my money. The salespeople are on commission and apparently will say anything to seal the deal. The CEO and other managers refuse to take my calls and have refused to refund my money, even though I have received absolutely zero services under the so-called contract.

In 2004 at the annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry meeting I stepped by the Einstein Medical Kiosk. I wanted to learn more about the web that cosmetic dentistry lectures were mentioning more and more frequently. As a general dentist with a passion for cosmetic dentistry I wanted to grow that part of my practice, and makers and print advertising werent working. I saw some of the beautiful websites Einstein did for plastic surgeons and was impressed with the high quality of their layouts, and started building my website with Einstein in 2004. That was the early days of web design/marketing and traffic grew slowly but steadily and easily became my biggest source of patients. As technology with web design and strategies with search engine optimization changed, Einstein (my rep is Mike Berman a rock star!) made the right recommendations and also let one know what I had to do to keep the site fresh and up to day and always on the front pages of all my search categories. Alan and Adam have been two great guys to work with. With Einstein I have had them build and host four websites. The staff is very professional, courteous, and they meet deadlines . I also utilize their local SCO products, with them I have been able to maintain and achieve #1 or # 2 position on the first page of many google search terms related to dentistry in a very competitive DFW market. Many of the companies that I beat are national companies with their own in-hous web design with hundreds and hundreds of pages on their websites . A great thing about them is they will constantly look and have discussions regarding Google analytics in the amount of traffic driven to the website. These guys are on it and theyll take care of you.

The company decided to charge me $13,535 for signing the contract but never even started any work. After several months of back and forth I attempted to write a letter to the president (which I have included) and will explain the details. You can decide for yourself whether you agree with the ethics of this company.November 7, 2016Dear Mr. Ricasa,Over the past four months, Einstein Industries has denied my request to terminate the $13,535 contract that I signed in May, even though there has been zero time, resources or money spent in the development of the contracted website. The reason I requested terminating the contract 19 days after signing, was the multitude of negative Google, Yelp, Dentaltown and Better Business Bureau reviews I came across:shady employees, rude, unprofessional, worst customer service ever, they are horrible, their sales team is very aggressive and will promise you the moon to get you to sign with them, everything is additional, frustrating communications....delays and misrepresentations on their part, fraudulent sales process, unacceptably slow design process, faulty writing and design, overcharging for services, terrible customer service, unethical business practices, this company is horrible, and they run clients credit cards early.In light of my findings, I understandably had strong reservations about moving forward and wanted more time to research my decision. But Einstein got my signature and so apparently there was no longer a need to extend goodwill. They recently offered to terminate the contract for a 25% re-stocking fee ($3383), a sum I paid, but then a week later I received a letter that Executives had changed their minds because of the inconvenience I caused them by having my credit card company put a hold on the full amount while the dispute was being resolved.I believe a true measure of a person (or a company) is doing the right, fair, or ethical thing. Everyone knows a goodwill gesture can come back tenfold. In my business I strive to ensure every patient is 100% satisfied and that occasionally means having to compromise financially and otherwise. As a result, I have a staff that respects my ethics, my business has received excellent reviews and word of mouth and has grown from 0 to 10,000 patients in just 9 years. I have also earned the respect of my family, community, and colleagues. Throughout the process of trying to come to a settlement with Einstein, I was baffled by their rigid position. It seems incredibly short-sighted in regards to how a company functions as a whole to maintain such an uncompromising position. Employees dont feel good about strong-arming clients (because nobody wants to work with a client who feels hog-tied), and clients certainly dont want to work with them. Doing business this way inevitably results in negative reviews and word of mouth as well as low staff morale, and a poor reputation by peers and in the community. Einstein hasnt invested anything towards the product in question and so I cant understand the refusal to compromise? It would be a different matter had there been any time or resources invested developing the website.For these reasons, I am asking for the contract to be terminated. As the president of the company I would expect that you are partial to making fair business decisions and that’s why I am directing this letter to you. If Einstein is unwilling to terminate the contract, the company should at least stand behind the offer to terminate for the 25% restocking fee that was offered to me.I appreciate your consideration in this matter and await your decision. I am the latest client to get scammed by Einstein Medical.I hired Einstein Medical (Industries) in October of 2014 to complete a new website design. I paid them a large sum of money up front yet never received the completed, agreed-upon product. I fired them in June 2015 after 8 months of frustrating communications, delays and misrepresentation on their part. They repeatedly over-promised and failed to deliver on many fronts. I sent a letter to the CEO, Mr.Robert Silkey, explaining my experience and requesting a partial refund but never received a response.Issues I encountered include:Fraudulent sales process: There is a serious lack of transparency, leading to a misrepresentation of the product they offer. Einstein uses a proprietary CMS, which makes the website NOT portable at all if you decide to leave them. They do not tell you this up front.Deficient and unacceptably slow design process: Since the first call, I was advised that the graphic artist ‘does not talk to clients’. The design they presented after 8 months had very few of the requested and promised artistic elements. The content was so light that it would provide a far less educational experience to the user than my current site.Faulty writing and design: The mock-ups presented contained numerous ridiculous errors i.e. type-os (they dont have spell check?), inaccurate written content, wrong phone number, a buttock photo from my photo gallery on the tummy tuck page, etc.Overcharging for services: As detailed by other former clients online, this company will charge ‘extra’ for every little thing. In my case, I agreed to the proposed addition of a video to my homepage header - they wanted over $5000 for this ‘upgrade’! They claimed extra development time, etc. Now that I am working with a different company, it is included in their basic design fee.Terrible customer service: As already detailed above, they have not responded to my certified letter, they took a month to respond to my BBB complaint and in their response, they lied. I have never had a worse experience with any company in my 15 years of running a solo practice.This company needs to be exposed for their unethical business practices to prevent other healthcare providers from wasting their money.

Einstein does our website for our practice and I have had a wonderful experience with Brittany, our representative and go-to girl. She has been nothing but helpful and trying to get the job done and done to our satisfaction.

These people cold call your office and act like they know you to try to get thru to the doctor. Someone named Gary called my office repeatedly and was extremely rude to my front office personal. When I called them to tell them to leave us alone, they person answering the phone said there was no Gary there. Everyone needs to make a living but there is no excuse for rudeness. If I put down the drill and took a call from every cold call vendor I would never get any dentistry done.
