The Doctors are really nice it just getting past the front office staff is really slow, its always packed and you wait a long time.
Going to see a Dentist for a tooth pulled they told me to come at 1230pm walk in bases to see if I can get in today will see.
The staff have always been professional & promptly service at the window. The medical staff are always kind, i special like this one Nurse practitioner (wish i could remember her name) but she wanted me to go to the hospital immediately, but i needed to make arrangements for care of my dog. You so caring & concerned that she called me up on my cell phone to checkup to see how i was doing & to please drop in anytime! The same goes for the Dental Clinic my teeth (all 8) are broken/rotten they were kind about it did not embrass me, & just wanted to take a non-aggressive approach to avoid me getting a infection! To just pull a couple at a time, they were right ! Most dental clinic would of pulled all 8 out at once im sure my mouth/gum would of gotten so infected & swollen they would not been able to finish fixing me up with dentures.I was there during the Beginning if the Pandamic & the clinic was the 1st clinic to face it put themselves out there for us and REOPEN their doorsI want to thank everyone at the clinic for there outstanding job they are doing & continuing to do every day!Terrielewis
Some of the people that work there really do care but one lady I have seen who works there can be very demeaning to the clients. I have witnessed in the past how she talks to people and thought it wasnt right but yesterday this woman actually tried to talk to me like that it left me in tears and feeling completely frustrated. The woman does the medi-cal enrollment and she would benefit a ton from some sensitivity training. The colored lady with the beads in her hair at the front window could take some training herself, she doesnt have to be so rude to so many people coming there for help.
I have gone there and I was advised this is for the homeless or sheltered at the svdp shelter clients, I have insurance but that wasnt an issue.the adagedo no harm is more like do nothing.
This is a wonderful place that helps our community greatly. I am grateful for all the help they are to me especially because now I am in my 60s
St. Vincent de Paul was HEAVEN sent at a time in life when my homeless world was harsh and hellish.
Disgusting, filthy, bed bug infested, drugs .... very bad!
