I’ve lived at Newport Place for nearly 2 years and enjoyed the experience very much. It’s very close to downtown and nice places to eat. It’s also near the trolley. There is a laundry room that is convenient. Everyone there is friendly and down to earth. Great for students and young professionals!!

This was the nicest, place I have ever stayed at for the price. They could of charged at least twice as much for this place. Ive even booked here for my next holiday.

I could not have lucked out more in finding this place! I moved to San Diego from out-of-state and did not have my feet on the ground quite yet, so this place really was a stress reliever. It is furnished and provides you with everything you need to feel at home and comfortable immediately upon arrival. The landlord really cares about this property, and his tenants that live there, and he acts accordingly. He keeps the place more than just maintained; he also listens to the suggestions or complaints of tenants and acts accordingly (including the recent installation of blazing fastinternet/wifi). Further, any person who moves into Newport Place will find immediate camaraderie among the other residents. Indeed, I made my first friends in San Diego in my neighbors at Newport Place. The neighboring area is quite considering it is downtown and you are only a block away from San Diego Police Headquarters. You are also walking distance from the best grocery stores in downtown. You really cannot go wrong here! I had to move on recently and move to a place closer to work, but I already miss the people and memories I found while living at Newport Place.

Was the best option for my staying at San Diego. It’s a great place and the staff were so kind and helpful. It’s modern, comfortable, clean and well located in downtown. I also had an amazing roommates there ! Loved this place !

I lived here briefly in 2005 and yet I am giving them thumps up after a decade and three years later. Shame on me!The brief time I lived at NPP in Downtown SD, it was a time I would never forget. The best time and yet a time I was learning to be my own and growing up in my own special way.This is a long over due review but a well deserving one. Thank you ☺️ NPP.
