Avoid working with Kris Gallegos.If you are looking at Eaton then its safe to say you are looking into buying a house. Congratulations. Please read our story before you decide to go with Eaton Escrow.October 16th we were set to close on our first house. Kris Gallegos was the manager assigned. At 915 am Kris told our Loan officer that he was going to call me and set up an appointment to meet a notary. At 1050 I had multiple people from my team trying to contact him. He eventual contacted me back and I met the notary outside the building. This was around 1130.Kris eventually gave the loan officer the wrong wiring information and the transaction was never recorded. As our team scrambled to locate the missing transfer Kris was nowhere to be found. Kris wouldnt answer calls and made no attempt to explain what happened. The 16th was the first time I ever communicated with this guy.This was on a Friday and we had been advised we could start packing up the uhaul. Since the ball was dropped by Kris we are now living out of a uhaul for the entire weekend. What was to be an awesome day for me and my family is now a nightmare. Our apartment is scheduled to be shown this weekend and we are forced to stay in a hotel. My girl, son, myself, and our 3 dogs. I rescheduled my entire week at work too leave early Friday. Now we have to move in slowly through the entire week after work. Just a nightmare experience.Kris wouldnt answer my calls or the calls of our team. No explanation. He simply showed no sign he even cared about our situation. Knowing that this error would mean we would have to wait until Monday, nobody from Eaton Escrow reached out to us to explain what happened.I strongly urge anyone considering using Eaton Escrow to take into account the lack of accountability and professionalism displayed by Kris in this situation. Dont let this happen to your family. If you do go with Eaton, dont close on a Friday. Give yourself a few days to account for this kind of lackluster effort.Goes without saying that I will not recommend this company to anyone I come across. Not until we know there was actual effort into getting to the bottom of this mess.
