Nice designs, but actual management is lacking. The apartment (Ezabelle) is nice, but I had my move-in date pushed back TWICE for a total of 17 days late because they couldnt get basic things like an occupancy permit or electricity worked out. I understand that its a newly constructed building, but dont offer such an early move in date if youre going to miss it by 2+ weeks. Totally unprofessional in that regard though they did give us the option to cancel our lease after they reached the 14 day late mark. Thankfully, I could stay at a friends place, but imagine having to live in an airbnb or hotel out of pocket for 14+ days! Also, when I moved in the apartment was not finished as I was missing a bathroom door (which didnt get installed for almost 3 weeks), and some units were missing bathroom sinks or had non-functioning AC. Honestly, why let people move in if the apartment isnt even finished? There is still construction ongoing for who knows how long, and we still dont have mail set up yet (after 3 weeks of living here). Communication is terrible, as you only have an email to communicate with them and they usually respond in a day which sometimes isnt fast enough for what you need when youre moving into a new place. They make changes to the place (such as adding a keypad in the elevator) without notifying people. I got stuck in the elevator and I had to figure out the keypad code myself. It wouldnt let me out or move anywhere until I put in the code, and I didnt have my phone on me at the time so it could have been a huge disaster. The response I get from management when I complained about the elevator issue?--It just got installed that afternoon, and the woman responsible for communication was at a doctors appointment so she couldnt notify people. If she knew about it, she should have told everyone in advance. Honestly, it is probably different if youre asking them to design your house, but only consider moving into one of their apartments if youre willing to deal with their lack of communication.

Was told there was only a few units left, then was left high and dry. They have a million phone numbers but no one picks up or returns calls. Maybe theyre selective without even running a background check? I cant imagine how hard it would be to work with them if something went wrong with the units.

Nice designs. Too bad that once theyre done, you cannot find them for warranty work and they vanish / wont return calls. Customer service post-completion is non-existent.

Nakhshab is on the cutting edge a new wave of innovative housing creation. I am very impressed with their design sense as well how well integrated their entire organization has become. I am an architect and have had the pleasure of working with Soheil in the past. I also have seen some of his recent projects come before the city of San Diego where I act as a Planning Commissioner. Of particular note is one of his current projects near the Trolley station and Library on Park Ave. It explores new ways to address the current housing crises and will act as prototype for future projects.

I have lived in San Diego for quite some time now. All I have to say is the Nakhshab group does an outstanding job with the design and construction in ALL their buildings. Some have that mid centurn inspired look to them that not all people appreciate. But I love it. Keep the good work guys!

Great team here at Nakhshab, really good people to work with and they know how to get it done right. They care about design, but are also builders and engineers, so they have the expertise. Projects arent overbuilt, so theyre cost effective in that regard.

All one needs to do is drive by NDDs projects to see they are a cut above other developers. Every one of their properties is uniquely designed to fit perfectly into its neighborhood and environment. When so many out there are constructing cookie cutter boxes its fantastic to see someone who cares to put in the extra time, effort and expense to create amazing designs. NDD projects add greatly to our community!

An ongoing nightmare with NDD developers/contractors next door to my property. Make sure to get every agreement in writing signed & dated. Promises made are later denied for various reasons. Do not expect them to honor promises made while smiling at you & shaking your hand nor in emails thinking that you have an agreement with them.NDD took out the retaining wall between the properties in September 2017 without any notice to me. They & the City of SD claimed that they were doing landscape removal. Although my property is on much higher ground (15 feet higher) they left no support for my property for months. Then NDD brothers came to convince me to take down my fence misrepresenting their intentions, time frame, promises were made to install a better fence of my choice; replacement of the retaining walls with a time frame of 4-6 weeks. As of March 6, 2019, 20 months later the retaining walls are not heightened, the fence is a chain link ; NDD is cutting the rebar that was to heighten the too low stem wall/retaining wall to adequately hold up my soil so that I can replant leaving it at a dangerous slant.NDD had very large crane swinging over my property/building/garden with large loads of wood for their construction reaching to the 3rd floor; audacity going over my property & not theirs. September 5, 2018 NDD repeated: Dixieline trucks full of wood in front of my apartment building & the crane 10 feet from my living room windows! The subcontractor could have done this all in front of NDD property or the large driveway between Leon at Laurel & the Truax house.NDD told me that they were busy with their building/construction when I asked why the fence & completion of restoring my property was not done in the 4-6 weeks they promised me in February 2018. NDD stated that they did want me to be listed as a rider on their insurance as the insurance certificate. In the last email I received from their attorney Simone Riley of Hahn & Hahn RE: Questions /concerns NDD Truax & Leon at Laurel/SD CA datedAug 30, 12:55 PM NDD will not reimburse you for the costs you requested to remove sawdust. (I came home on a Saturday evening to find the west end of my property covered with an inch of sawdust.)NDD did not knock over your malva assurgentiflora tree, and therefore NDD will not recommend a solution for this problem, or pay for it. (After they moved the construction fence I found the tree knocked over laying on the ground.)With regard to matters concerning NDDs property, although they may be of interest to you, NDD will not engage in a conversation with you about such matters. Further, because the remainder of the project only affects NDDs property, we will not be communicating with you further. Construction on NDDs property will continue in accordance with the plans and permits issued for the development. (NDD is directly next to me.) The retaining walls remain incomplete, the construction fence is tied by a wire to my tree & redwood fence, the bases of the construction fence still on my property. NDD refuses to give me a finish date or put my soil level back to what it was before the excavated. Nima Nakhshab told me they were ignoring me; they do not like your attitude & are going to install the ugliest worse fence & worse landscaping to block rest of y view N. Nima stated that he would honor adding the needed height to the retaining wall so that my soil level could be restored to what is was previously. It is now at a very steep, unsafe for me to use or walk level & put in a small retaining wall where there is none now behind the Truax house. Rains have caused soil erosion. Nima stated had stated that he has not decided what NDD is doing between the properties. No respect for me as property owner, woman & senior. The Historic Truax house, now painted fire engine red now has a 30 foot tall box, 3-story addition about 15’ X 18’ footprint basically three boxes stacked on each other attached to the east side w/ no architectural relationship to the home stuccoed black.

They severely misrepresented this development. Their Airbnb listing includes unrepresentative photos of the property and they failed to mention the extremely loud construction going on prior to booking.
