This place is a great place to go to. The workers are awesome and nice, they provide an abundant amount of insight in education and learning. Thanks to them, I have a high chance of getting a good score in both the ACT and SAT while also having help with homework when available. Brainy Learning Center is willing to help teach young kids or teenagers my age. Almost all subjects are possible for them to help students and even if not the case, they can still provide a bunch of help.Scheduling hours are also quite flexible compared to other educational centers.Overall, I appreciate coming to the Brainy Learning Center for help at school and preparing for college. = )

Its pretty rare for me to write reviews, but Gideon and the Brainy team did such a great job helping my 7th grade son improve his grades, and confidence in school, that I felt it was definitely worth mentioning. Gideon is professional, attentive, and works well with kids. My son enjoys his time studying and learning at Brainy. I am a fourth grader, I started two years ago.I love Brainy Learning Center. Math used to be my worst subject and now its my best. I am a great reader but after I read a book I couldnt answer questions about it. Now Im a lot better with that. Brainy has helped improve my school work since the moment I stepped in. How fantastic is Brainy Learning Center? Let me tell you just a few things. My daughter, who has been suffering in class since the beginning of 6th grade, loves to come after school and get guided help with the work for the day and more. She feels comfortable asking for help and being challenged when necessary. Most of all she is enjoying school again and even made honor roll for the first time. She feels confident and it shows. Because of Brainy Learning Center, life at home is content and we are all happy. I highly recommend Brainy Learning Center even if you dont think your child needs support. You might be surprised.

Ashlyn was struggling with phonics, sounds and letters, words, and reading. As a parent we noticed she needed extra support in addition to what was receiving in school so we sought out the additional help. We went seeking a tutor online because we were in needed immediate help and came across Brainy Learning Center and found the professional help from Gideon. What I really liked was that Gideon helped us evaluate, rule out errors of concern, and provided and continue to provide learning strategies . As a result, we have seen improvement, progress, and increased confidence in her school. We started in 1st grade and now she is going to 3rd grade, and her reading level has grown over 2 reading levels in this time and her confidence has gone up tremendously. Gideon who is a teacher and educator specializes in helping children facing learning hurdles to overcome these and improve in school and confidence. We will continue to send our child to Brainy Learning Center.I would highly recommend you sending your child to Brainy Learning Center.

Not a tutoring center. This is a Learning Center. There is absolutely no comparison to places like Sylvan, Kumon, or any of those services who send college kids to your house. The TEACHERS here really know their subjects and also know how to communicate that knowledge to the student. The price is more than reasonable and Gideon is always very flexible with payments and schedules. Simply the best place around.My daughter went from below grade level in language arts to aspiring author in just a few months. Gideon is a wonderful teacher. We love Brainy Learning Center.

11/21/2013It has being the most amazing experience, the teachers are extremely helpful and my son is being able to get much better grades since he started attending brainy learning center. Gideon is wonderful! and always running the extra mile for my sons success. I really recommend it.

Brainy Learning Center is really a fun learning experience. My sister and I have seen a big jump and improvement in our grades and school. We have been attending for over 2 years and keep on coming back each year. We continue to get straight As. The tutoring is really helping and high class. We highly recommend coming,

We started our kids at Brainy 2 years ago as an after school activity. We requested that DJ plan activities that prepare our kids to master upcoming concepts so that when a new concept is introduced in class my kids are already familiar with it. It has helped make school, which is pushing kids so quickly, a place where my kids can be successfull. DJ is a very skilled teacher and the kids love her. She motivates them to always do their best, to be respectful and to enjoy the learning process.

Brainy Learning Center is a great place to get homework help. The staff will help you when you dont understand something or need improvement. When I get help for tests, I will usually get As on them thanks to Tutors taking time to help. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to help them excel in school.

I am really happy with their service. My son joined this center two years back & still he is continuing with them. His grades improved a lot. Very good staff & flexible timing.

The learning environment here is very fun and useful. The teachers here make learning easier and better. I have seen an increase of better grades on my report cards. I have also been coming here for about 4 years now.

The tutors are very knowledgable and they make the kids feel comfortable and learn in a fun way. My kids improved there grades after they got there instructions. Now my son is a A+ student and my daughter loves math thanks to Mr. Gideon and Mr. Elloit.

At the end of 6th grade at BHMS my son achieved honor roll all 4 quarters and straight As three out of four quarters. Gideon at Brainy Learning Center really improved my sons grades over 2 years. The results speak for themselves. If you are looking for a tutor and your child attends a Poway school district school, Brainy Learning Center is your best choice for your childs tutoring needs. I started taking my son to Brainy in the middle of December for some additional reading comprehension instruction. In only a three month period he has shown improvement not just in reading comprehension but overall. None the less, I am very satisfied with Brainy and the staff.

My son has been going to Brainy Learning Center since December 2011 for reading and writing tutoring. We had just moved from Denmark, and in addition to having to learn English, my son was put up a grade! He went from the 3rd percentile in MAPS Reading testing in January 2012 to over 80th percentile this year! Gideon has been a super teacher and great encouragement to my son.

The school was having trouble pin pointing why my son was not testing well. I looked at other tutoring centers, but they were more of the type to do memorization and pre-assigned worksheets. I needed a tutoring center that could test my son, determine the problem(s) and come up with a plan to solve the problem. Brainy, with Mr. Gideon, was awesome! He quickly tested my son and told me exactly what the problem was and how to solve it. It took a lot of work. We went for tutoring for 8 months straight (even through the summer), and now my son is one grade above his grade level for reading and has now tested proficient (above average) for all topics on the Start test. I couldnt have done it without Mr. Gideons help. If your child(ren) need help at school, I cant recommend Brainy enough. It made all the difference for us! :-)
