Lisa has transformed my family (and me!) for the better. Since my first class with her, I have felt encouraged, inspired, challenged, and understood. She is so down to earth, and Ive never felt judged at all by her, despite sharing my parenting struggles. Another wonderful thing about Lisa is she coaches in a way that not only do my husband and I both resonate with, but we also both feel heard. Having done her classes, support groups, private coaching, and her 8 week workbook group (following Peaceful Parents, Happy Kids Workbook by Dr. Markham), I can say wholeheartedly that Lisa is the real deal. Come see her with a heart open to learn- even if, especially if, you feel completely lost. Dont worry- she will guide you! She really is such a gift to the parenting community in San Diego, and we are so lucky to have her!

Lisa helped guide our family through the process of peaceful parenting and continued to provide consultations as needed as we grow as parents and as our children grow older. We began by attending her peaceful parenting 101 class and walked away with some pretty useful tools to implement. We struggled being consistent as time went on and enlisted her as a coach; which was just as helpful. She is a very good listener and is thorough with her questions prior to the initial consultation. There is a great emphasis on self-care and modeling the behavior, in our case it was to model a lot of self-regulation with the hopes that the end result is the child mimicking the modeled behavior. We are happy to report that this last year, our now 7 yr old (and oldest of 3), has shown a huge amount of self-regulation and that is shown, by him using the tools we modeled and offered him.The hard work for us has been regulating our own emotions which comes back to the modeling part. This is the hard work, its absolutely necessary, and we are willing to take on the challenge of undoing all we learned as kids.Lisa is an extremely empathetic coach and very flexible. We feel very lucky to have landed in her 101 class to help kick-start our peaceful parenting adventure:)

I am so happy I found Lisa early on in my parenting journey. Lisa’s communication style is clear and she is a great listener. She knew how to empathize with my personal stressors while empowering me to make healthy changes and also recognize and appreciate my strengths. I appreciated that she not only helped me understand reasons behind my kid’s (and my own) behaviors, but was then FULL of useful and applicable ideas to help me translate that information into deepening my relationship with my kiddos.

Lisa has been an incredible resource for our family. Our relationship with our kids has improved dramatically since we started working with her. Although we had learned about peaceful parenting through books and other one-way media, Lisas coaching was what really helped us put it into practice with greater success and consistency, across parents and situations! She is a gem - perceptive, caring, and simply excellent. We cannot recommend her enough!

Lisa is an amazing coach. Her approach to parenting is informative, positive, functional, and doable. She is there every step of the way to make sure parents feel confident in their skills to parent.  I truly enjoy her mother support groups that allow mothers (new and old) share their experiences and learn from each other.

Lisa is such an amazing woman and coach. She can be your safe space while providing honest and emphatic advice and feedback. If you are finding yourself in challenging parenting moments, or just feel like you need a little extra support, reach out. You won’t regret it. Lisa has taught me so much over the years and I deeply value her work and coaching. She wants you to win. She wants your kid to win. Most importantly she wants you to remember that while parenting can be hard, but it can also be fun, silly, connected and wonderful.Stop hesitating. Call her. Do the work. And change your relationship with your kiddo.

I love how many new tools we now have as a family, and we are much more peaceful than when I was trying to do this on my own! Even my husband is working with me - her tactics help with other aspects of our family and personal life! I was so amazed.Joining her community (events, group coaching, social media) is such a great way to meet like-minded parents who are on the same page as you. Lisas expertise in this (and +++++similar) fields is so extensive, that any doubt in my mind about taking the right step was addressed in the moment, with good reason, and with research. Part of the struggle was not knowing if I was taking the right step - she really KNOWS the right approach, and everything we did worked with consistency. It was life-changingChanging habits is so scary, challenging and rewarding. We invest in our kids all the time without questioning our investment. THIS is THE REAL investment in our kids.
