Ive sailed with them previously and enjoyed it, so I was trying to purchase four tickets for my guests.i walked alone to the booth to get the tickets.So I wasnt a customer yet this time but probably never will be again since I had a negative customer service experience just asking for information. I asked the girls working there for information and told them that I was hearing impaired and only read lips. They proceeded to talk with their masks on. I stepped back and said please lower your masks and tell me what you just said and one said no the other one walked away like she didnt have the patience to deal with me. The other started yelling whatever she was saying with her mask on with a definitive tone. I then apologized and explained again that I read lips and wont understand no matter how loud she spoke. She just stared at me at that point.So I walked away and purchased a cruise from Hornblower / City Cruises for my party of four instead. They were much nicer and we enjoyed that cruise.The staff need sensitivity training for customers who are deaf or hard of hearing. Ill go to Hornblower from now on.

I had a fun time on this cruise! Went in mid- August of 2021 and did the North Bay and South Bay (about two hours total). Saw a ton of stuff including Coronado Bridge, sea lions, a nuclear sub in port and countless different kinds of ships from the U.S.H.S. Mercy to huge USMC troop transport vessels. My ticket was less than $40 and it was money well spent. The cruise ship has 3 decks and the tour is well narrated so you understand what you are seeing. I thought two hours was just right to see everything. Great experience - fun for parents, kids and people of any age. This is an especially good thing to do if it is your first time visiting San Diego.

We had an amazing experience on this little cruise. Every employee was extremely nice, the guide over the speakers had some great jokes, and overall it was wonderful. Seeing the views and learning some of the history of the city was a great way to spend the afternoon, and the price of the tickets was great and unexpected. I would love to return to see the South Bay tour!

If you are visiting San Diego, this is a must on the list of things to do on your visit. We found the deal on Groupon which was very well priced for the two of us. We chose to do the two hour tour which took us all the way around to Coronado but there are options to go to Cabrillo. The boats go out an hour at a time return to the dock then head back out for the second hour after a 15 min break.There are also drinks both alcoholic and non and snacks aboard, so no need to bring any unless you want to save money. Be prepared to have your picture snapped upon boarding, we thought it was a great deal for the amount of pictures. You recieve 4 pics for the price of $20. Dont forget sunblock if you are going when the sun is at the hottest in the day and maybe a hat. Jackets are recommended but we didnt need ours the entire time.

Great cruise, ok food experience, and overall poor service. However, I think it was only our waiter that was the problem. I did notice that the other servers were attending to their guest very well. We had to look for our server multiple times to order appetizers and drinks. Furthermore, he was very leisure about serving our section the courses. The prime rib was good, just a bit cold, salad and dessert were fantastic. The cruise started at 6:30 and ended at 9:00. This was perfect to see the bay by daylight and end the night by the city skyline. I would do this again just sans our last server.

A very short ferry ride and well organized - safety is a priority. A great way to harbor-view SD and Coronado at minimal cost.

Great 2 hour harbor cruise. Prefer the south tour over the north tour. Full service bar is great for adults. Enjoyable for kids 5-10 years old. They also have the Champagne brunch which looked amazing!

The 4th of July Fireworks cruise on San Diego Bay made for a very enjoyable evening. Anchored facing one of the four barges (after cruising the bay), we were treated to incredibly close up views of the fireworks with the SD skyline in the distance. All the service personnel on board were very polite. Only downside was the lack of an alternative dinner choice.

A fun educational tour. The mask mandate is in place, you will be on board with alot of people so be safe. Outside food was allowed, beverages available for purchase onboard as well in small snacks

Make sure you arrive early so you can choose the best seating. This was our first trip and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. Took a morning trip and left us wanting more. Prior to boarding you’ll be asked for a group photo. We purchased our photos for $20. We will return for the whale watching tour, and we’ll try to be early to get a good seat. Adult beverages were available as well as hot dogs. We didn’t partake but the option is there.

Big boat, lots of people, nice cruise of the bay. Naval shipyards to the south are impressive with all the ships being worked on.

Please know that the only reason Im giving 3 stars is because of the lack of time to sanitize between groups. It was questionable before we boarded when we saw the group prior to us get off. We wondered how much staff they had to sanitize so quickly in between. We did 2 hours which includes on hour South and one hour North. When we stopped to board the next group for our second hour we noticed the overworked crew mate quickly trying to sanitize a few tables before having to greet and direct the new group upon arrival. Since we didnt feel comfortable with the lack of sanitizing between groups Ill have to drop 2 stars. Otherwise, this was a really nice tour. They serve snacks and drinks to enjoy during the ride.

Nice day to be on the harbor. The south tour was informative, it included a brief history of Coronado and the ships. The north tour was beautiful but not as informative.

Great Birthday dinner for 8. Food and staff were excellent. Pleasant temps on deck mid Sept, but bring jackets. Only downside was Ace charged me $30 for parking. Midway parking closed due to special event 😔

A romantic dinner cruise .We love it, everything was prefect. My kids enjoyed as well. Its better in the afternoon at night. The food was good . I do recommend for any occasion 💞 We will be back for sure.

Beautiful views, good service, interesting information, draft-beers and cocktails available, plus you get to go under the Coronado Bridge, which is cool. 👍 Walk over to Seaport Village when youre done and get a tasty 32-oz. Coronado Brewing Weekend Vibes IPA and some tasty grub at Mr. Motos Pizza (definitely try the ricotta and spinach-stuffed garlic knots), chill and just drink in the beautiful sunset.🌇 🌅 If you need a change of scenery, you can just stumble next-door to Mike Hess Brewing.

Sound system is very poor. Could not hear more than a dozen words in a 2 hour tour. It is nice and relaxing when parents make their kids sit down and behave. If your not going to parent and watch them - leave them home or find another activity more kid freiendly.

We had a blast. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for taking the kids out. Bring your snacks.

We really enjoyed our 2 hour tour which includes the north and south tour. They gave the history of the island of Coronado and the history of the naval and marine bases. Really cool. And off in the distance you could see the islands of South Coronado miles away. Really good price for this tour. Also was a bit chilly when we headed into the wind, would recommend a jacket or sweater. We did this mid September.

Our first time taking the kiddos on a family sight seeing cruise. They enjoyed seeing everything from the water. Abe took a group pic. Very courteous. 😉During the second tour, the snack bar cashier was rude. I was next in line & he asked whos next? I said hello? Im right here. 🤦‍♀️ Order sodas for my boys. He filled the cups full of ice, and not full of soda. For the next two drinks, I said light ice. And he only put 4 cubes. 😩Overall experience was great. ☺️

Had an amazing time in our 60 min boat tour. Definitely could have gone for longer. Plan to in the future. Boat was clean and easy to distance, not too meant on board. It was a smooth ride and they served drinks and some lunch foods such as hamburgers and hotdogs.You can however bring your own snacks and drinks, my fiance and I brought a small bag of snacks and water bottles and that suited us. Overall a very pleasant experience. Glad we went.

It was very fun, the splashes of sea water were amazing. Flagships crew were very corteous and helpful.

Me and my family had an awesome time on this 2 hr cruise. The host/guide was very knowledgeable about SD and harbor area. We didnt see any dolphins or whales, but we did see seals! Great price for this cruise! Would do it again. Highly recommend.

My husband and I opted for the 2 hour tour of the bay starting at 11:15 am. I definitely recommend doing the earlier tours because the sun gets quite strong in the afternoon if you sit outside, which I recommend sitting up top.on the deck. The tour was very informative however it can be hard to hear what they are saying at times because you get a few loud talkers that yap the whole time instead of taking in the surroundings and commentary. Line up early to make sure you get a seat otherwise youre standing on the deck or stuck inside the boat. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and they had snacks and beverages for sale. If you only do the 1 hour tour, do the tour of the south. You get to see more of Coronado and the naval ships. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend taking the 2 hour tour if your schedule allows.

This was my second time. I had family visit. It is a really good tour of San Diego. I have learned something both times. My family also enjoyed it. It is a nice relaxing 2 hours. The views are fantastic. It gave my family ideas of things to see while here. There is also a bar.

We booked a 2 hour cruise which turns out to be 2 one hour cruises with a return to port in between. Did not expect that. The boat is a floating bar, think booze cruise with many people headed right for the bar. The only good thing is the open air observation deck.

I booked this cruise dinner event for my husband’s 40th Birthday! It’s Friday, so it’s Hops on the Harbor dinner cruise. There are 5 courses in dinner with the pairing beers for each course. Every month, there’s a new brewery, and this month is Mike Hess. The 5 small highball glasses of beers are pretty well chosen for the meals. The foods are pretty amazing for a cruise dinner. I love the steamed mussels with pasta. Also the birthday dessert is amazing. Our server Rebecca did the chocolate writing, that’s really impressive. She is amazing, fast service, caring about us and behaved professional. I definitely highly recommend Flagship cruise event to everyone who wants to celebrate something special, or just want to have a nice tour of the beautiful San Diego bay with a yummy dinner.

Had a great time on the brunch cruise. Free flowing champagne and mimosas. The pastries were a little dry however the entrée made up for it.

The most frustrating part was keeping our toddler occupied/corralled. :) The two hour harbor cruise was great and very informative. I especially liked the info shared on all the Navy ships and such.Lots of sights to see if you only have a few days in San Diego and cant visit all the sights. Staff was friendly.

Food was warm at best, vegetables hard and cold as were the potatoes. Meat was cook correctly. The only saving grace was Ramone our server, who was very helpful and pleasant.At over $100, I recommend going to a nice restaurant.

The sites in the bays were great to see.Unfortunately, if sitting in the middle enclosed deck the guides commentary cannot be fully heard. Two reasons for this, 1- lack of enough speakers/low volume and 2 - the other passengers talk over the commentary and each other like it was a party boat. For those that arent able to get to the upper deck (elderly or with mobility issues), which may have better audio, be aware of the possible limited audio on the mid deck.

We did the premium dinner cruise and had an amazing time. I highly recommend paying for the open bar, it makes for a great time! I went during the pandemic so the dining was on the deck. WEAR A GOOD JACKET. I froze. But the food was great and drinks kept us pretty warm. The staff were so great and kind, to top off the experience.

The speed boat was loads of fun! Well worth the cost. We were all able to sit together and get soaked!

The ride (The Patriot speed boat) is not that scary at all. At least for me it wasnt. My wife was worried that the parents of two small children. We (I) was putting our life in danger. I didnt. It is perfectly safe. High speed fun with music to accompany the ride. We didnt get wet that much. You know its fun when its over too soon. Those jet engines sound great.

Took the prime rib Sunday dinner cruise. This was the highlight of our trip. We got a great railing table. We had plenty of space. We ordered a bottle of champagne and they had it waiting on ice at our table. California Spirit left at 630 and returned at 9pm. Amazing views of SD and Coronado Island. Great service. Everyone was attentive and helpful. Thanks for having us! Prime rib itself was undercooked but, I didnt care, I was having too much fun.

Great service. Nice table spacing. You are not eating on top of each other. Ship layout was well thought out. Food was okay. The fish was dry and the rest was nothing to write home about. Stair wells were a bit narrow compared to other dining cruises

Absolutely loved it. The food was good but the cheesecake was the star. I was kinda disappointed that there was no band/music but the view made up for it. My booking agent Patti was a joy to book with and Crystal from the gift shop was awesome. Im looking forward to taking the cruise again

Pretty boring, no spectacular views. Captain is telling the stories about right side views only.If you are taking 2h tour, be ready that ship stops by the dock to pick up/ unloadother tourists, so basically you spend 30min of 2h tour waiting for other passangers.Boarding line starts forming very in advance, we came 45min before the start, and had around 35 people in line already.

Friendly crew, good tour announcer. It is a nice harbor to tour with lots to see. I did the 2 hour tour, assuming that a 3 hour tour might wind up stranded on Gilligans island :)Only thing that keeps it from a 5 star is that the most of the view is cut off if sitting on the deck chairs. This shouldnt bother most people, I have a knee problems that make 2 hours too long to stand.

If you can spare 2hrs of your day, this is A time well spent with all your out of town guest touring the South and North sides of San Diego Bay. Wonderful tour of Shelter Island, North Bay, Coronado, and South Bay. Beautiful views of downtown San Diego and Seaport Village. If you are into Naval ships, the tour guide had knowledge to share about ships in the area.

We did the 1 hour north bay trip and it was gorgeous. You get a good viewing of the bay, some history if you care to listen, drinks if you like. You can sit on any of the 3 floors and move about as you like. We regret not buying the 2 hour to see the south part, so definitely on the list for another time. There were sea lions, beaches, a naval base, and lots of beautiful coastline and sunshine to take in.

My kids and friends had fun doing the North Harbour Cruise of San Diego. Our tour guide was funny. Next visit we will try this tour again for sure.The price very affordable per head. I had it book in booking.com. Found this on booking.com suggestions for attractions and activities.Not too crowded too. Had lots of space to move around the Cruise. Also, we can eat and drink while inside the Cruise which was a plus.

A very pleasant cruise around the bay. We chose the 2 hour tour, (No not Gilligans), so we experienced the entire bay. Didnt see any sea life other than Pelicans & seagulls so it was mostly views on the skyline & Navy ships

The Patriot thrill boat ride is a must do!!!! Even for the weak stomach like my husband it was so fun and he didn’t get sick at all too much adrenaline pumping and super fast speeds ! We will definitely do the patriot every time we’re in San Diego!!!

We went on the Brunch Cruise on June 28th 2020. Boarding the ship was staggered to allow for social distancing between groups of people. The employees all had on masks and I saw them constantly disinfecting door knobs, etc. Due to the limited number of people allowed on the ship and large spacing between tables it felt like we had the upper level dining area to ourselves. The food, drinks, and views of Coronado were great.Overall it was a nice experience and seemed very safe during this ongoing pandemic.

So delightful!!! Regarding the Sunday brunch cruise; delicious food, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere, a live singer and beautiful views!! Celeste was the singer she was phenomenal with an incredibly silky voice that I thought was a recording until I saw her for myself. The food on the brunch cruise was great, there was a large selection and all of it tasted yummy, even a vegetarian can leave this buffet very happy. Kids are welcome on board. The observation deck on the 3rd level offers panoramic views of the San Diego Harbor as you cruise the serene waters. There are tables outside as well as in so if you decided to bring your food outside into the sunshine you could. Just all around do enjoyable! Highly recommend.

You need a mask but they don’t tell you when you buy tickets… bring one. It’s outdoors and not crowded tho

We came down for the weekend and was a bit weary on how busy the boat will be. But the crew did a great job cleaning and disaffecting the area. They reminded us to wear masks and practice social distancing. The tour was also pretty nice, learned a bit about San Diego while getting some amazing views. We did the 2-hour tour into sunset and it was best choice. Would recommend and will be doing it again when family or friends come visit!

I was havingA little trouble getting up the ramp& onto the boat. The two men thatWorking that day went above & &Beyond with helping me get on the boat .they were so patient. This was June7th 2021. I just hope u can let themKnow what an excellent team & howWell they handled things.

This is a very fun cruise on a great boat. I suggest take both the North and South cruise, and go as late as possible in hopes of sunset photos under the Coronado Bridge. If you take your camera, be sure to get a spot in the bow of the boat to be able to get photos without other passengers in them. Also, look for the Navy dolphin (LIVE DOLPHIN) being trained from a zodiac. Pretty neat trip, reasonable price as well.
