I went in here today to get help with my MacBook, and there’s just an overall uncool vibe. First of all they request that you put on a mask, which is just perpetuating fear. No one is wearing masks anymore. No one in the mall for sure. It’s not a thing anymore!! Can we let it go?! Second of all, the Genius Bar situation is just impractical. I went there in a middle of a weekday and they tell me it’s 3 1/2 hours until someone can just talk to me about my MacBook. Furthermore, I was about to buy a new iPad and I honestly just took off my mask and left. What happened to real customer service that involves proactive thinking and common sense. I’m obviously not going to wait 3 1/2 hours. I am 9 1/2 months pregnant and there was no consideration for me. The store wasn’t even crowded. The world is turning into a silly place guys!!! Apple is perpetuating it.
Spilled coffee on my laptop. Robert at the Genius Bar took it in the back room. 10 minutes later came out and showed me pictures of corrosion between the battery and the touchpad. Told me my laptop was valued at less than $200 and proceeded to sell me a new laptop.Took apart the laptop and the internal parts are nothing like the pictures Robert showed me of corrosion.Took my over 90 minutes to remove the batteries vs his 10 minutes in the back room.He never dismantled to laptop.A UNETHICAL attempt at making a sale on a new computer.Robert needs to be FIRED!
This is the place to go if you like paying $2K for a $700 laptop. The staff here is a bit stuck up, they act like they dont work for minimum wage.

*This store almost made me switch to Samsung.* It was that bad. I had been waiting for the 13 MAX Pro to come out and so my phone is a couple of generations old. I went to update my iOS one morning and my phone crashed, even though the phone was supposed to be able to take the update. I took it in and even when I had just gotten there and started to explain who I was and why I was there to the young woman in the front, this older woman who was another customer walked in the door, walked up to the young woman I was speaking to like I wasn’t even there and cut me off. The young woman who worked there didn’t even tell her she was already talking to me or anything, but rather I had to wait until she was done. Then, it went downhill from there. In short, they wasted 4 1/2 hours of my life. They didn’t fix anything but simply did what I could have done myself at home, didn’t offer any apologies or sympathy, and did not validate my parking even though I was only there to see them. It was exceptionally bad.
Never had anything but great customer service at this location. Most recently my 2014 iMac had a rare software issue that only authorized Apple stores can fix. Took it in expecting they might not be familiar with the issue, guy helping me said he’s never seen an issue like this but still knew exactly what to do and fixed it in 5-10 minutes on the spot. The modified store layout worked great and really shows how Apple cares about their employees and keeps them safe. And my six-year old computer was fixed for free.

Worst experience ever. Nobody was willing to assist me when I was in the store. Every time I tried to ask for help to buy something, Id just be blown off or dismissed without any meaningful help. But anytime someone new walked in the door, there would be other employees willing to help them
I was happy with all my experiences at the store but this time they supposed to give my cellphone with shattered screen back so I get backup but she came with a exchange cellphone, I was shocked and unfortunately accepted that because I thought she didn’t understand me for my accent and my cellphone’s already gone!I paid over $400 for that ! It’s been 2 days, I came back and they are saying that kind of sale is final !Managers tried to make another exchange so I get about 200 of my money back !!Over $400 went to trash can with many pic from past few years .I would never go back to this store because it’s APPLE and I expected much more!

Maybe this store is good if you need a repair but certainly, the same does not apply if you need to purchase anything. The manager, Josh is extremely inexperienced and has very poor interpersonal skills. I made a remark to him about their “marketing strategy to create demand” by making people wait for service whilst two of their employees are chatting away and he was completely rude, defensive and unprofessional by telling me: “NO, it is not a marketing strategy, you just have to wait for your turn like everyone else” l cannot possibly understand how someone with such a poor customer service skills can be a manager in charge. Shame! Shame! Shame! Hence, his bad attitude was after l told him that l wanted to buy an $799 I-pad Pro, which I did because, luckily, the girl who helped was way nicer and more professional than JOSH could ever be!!!
I go to this location for all my Apple needs. We have iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, iMacs.The store is well staffed and the staff is courteous, professional and well trained. They went to a great length to keep the store and the Genius bar operational during the COVID.My concerns are about the entire Apple model of the customer service and the repair service.My MacBook needed the battery replaced. You cannot just buy the battery from BestBuy and pop it in. You need a Genius appointment to even talk about it to someone. It turns out that they didnt have batteries in stock and they had to order it. They prefer that you leave your laptop with them while the battery is being ordered, which would take 2-5 days. Then, and only when the battery arrives, you are placed in the queue to get someone to replace it for you. That takes another 3-5 days. I decided not to leave my laptop while waiting for the battery to arrive, which turned out to be a good decision since the battery took 7 days. Then another two days to get them to install it for me. I watched an uncut YouTube video of swapping MacBook battery that lasted 90 seconds and required a screwdriver.It is a totally unreasonable system that requires you to leave your laptop for 10 days and go to the store 3 times so they can perform the procedure that takes 90 seconds.Why not sell these batteries in BestBuy and let people swap them? It makes you wonder if we didnt let Apple rule our lives a bit too much.

Had to take my laptop in to the genius bar to see about getting it fixed. The staff member was exceptionally helpful. He answered every question I had and went over all of my options in a way that made me feel that he was genuinely trying to help me rather than simply acting in Apples best interests.
I was not helped at all, the man who assisted me was very rude and mocked me for the previous troubleshooting I had attempted on my own time. He ended up being useless and did not help my diagnostic of my problem one bit. I have been a consumer of Apple products for over a decade and this one experience has tipped the scale to switch platforms. Apple is going in the absolute wrong direction. I took these photos with my new Google pixel 2 XL I bought to replace my iPhone that this store wouldnt help me with. Also Google didnt treat me like trash.

I placed a store pickup order. The pickup experience was smooth and very quick. They assigned someone to help me out with questions and explain things which was nice. Despite the current situation of COVID and people crowding up around the store, it felt safe and very inviting. Spot on!

Called to set up a service appointment for my cell phone that is not working. Two days to wait for an appointment all while not having a working device. GET IT TOGETHER. Not having a same day service appointment drop off makes no sense.
I went the the shop with a friend of mine who is in his mid-70s and was looking for his first smart phone and a tablet. He is a real technophobe bu Susan helped us out and was very patient working him through everything. She was awesome and a credit to the shop and Brand.

The two security guards and the staff inside are absolutely abhorrently worthless, they let me and an entire line freeze for 30 minutes just to have one person ask if they can go in and they just say “no it’s appointment only”. They were just laughing the whole time doing nothing. Will never buy another product here and will steer people to I other locations. Unacceptable
I walked over to the store to try and purchase a battery for my new iPhone 12 PRO. I walked up and was scrutinized by about six rough and rude security people. Did I have an appointment? What was my reason for being there? Did I check on line? I felt like I was trying to enter a top security military installation. All I wanted to do was purchase a battery charger! I would have to make an appointment to even approach the store. I understand limited customers allowed in at any one time but I swear it was empty! Wow... so have never been treated so rudely and actually a bit scary trying to make a sale. You can forget it Apple, never again. That store was a hellish experience never to be repeated. How intimidating and insulting.
You need an appointment to get in, why? Queue in front of the door, okay limiting people density. By appointment, seriously? I only been told that when I was there, its not even on the website. The appointment is hard to scheduled as well, its simply telling you unavailable. Four securities at the door, dozens employee just standing and doing nothing in the store, only five customers are there. Apple rather spend money to hire these excessive employee than improve the customer service in this rough time. I went with my grandma who had questions about her 2 iphones. We were helped by very kind guy named Jesus who helped her in everyway he could, within the appointed time slot that is. She had so many questions and he did everything he could to answer all of them to the fullest. If I used apple I would definitely return.
They only allow people with an appointment to get in even if you just want to buy something, not repair! But they didnt even mention it on their website! Worst experience ever. Make me want to use my 5-year-old 6s one more year...

I called the store asking if I needed an appointment in order to buy a new computer and they said they were doing walk ins no appointment needed. I get there 30 mins later and they tell me they are booked when the store was close to empty and could not help me until the next day.

I was just told that I would have to wait in line for THREE HOURS and make an appointment to purchase a phone case!!! They have no availability for a paying customer to walk in and check out with an accessory within 5 minutes. You guys need to get real.
If I can give 0 stars I wouldTheir inexistent social skills and lack of logic is tiering.When I got to the store they said I cant go in without an appointment, and that I need to book one via a link they provided. It didnt work.Then they said its only done through apple.com which also didnt work.Then they said it can only be done with an iPhone and cant be done with an Android phone 😡.So I asked if I can talk to a representative from the store, they said no and that I should call customer service which I did only to be informed that they give service only to existing customers (people who already spent money in apple store).My solution was the easiest, I went to a windows store and bought a better computer for half the price with a ton of customer support every where, (its windows). :)
I had an issue with my iPhone XR. A gentleman in service department took care of me. I wish I could remember his name. He was originally from Germany with tattoos on his hands. He is awesome. He explained the steps as he was working on my phone. He is supper nice and friendly. Thank you again Mr Wonderful for your great service.

Bought an iPhone online and chose to pick up at the UTC location. I was greeted pretty quickly at the door and directed where to go for pick up. I ended up purchasing a case there as well and was still in and out the door within 15 min. This was on a weekend evening and the place was packed so I was more than impressed!

I have had several bad experiences at this Apple store which is why I gave 4 stars. The employees seem miserable and unwelcoming. HOWEVER, I went in today and needed help with my Apple Watch and had the best experience I ever had at any Apple. Satareh helped me at the Genius Bar and was so kind. She helped me choose whether or not I wanted a new watch and didn’t give me any BS advertisement to try to sell me the most expensive option. I ended up going with the new watch and walked out very happy with my experience.PS. If you buy an Apple Watch, GET THE INSURANCE! It’s worth it.

Absolute best Apple store in the area! Purchased a MacBook Pro from them and the two awesome specialists that helped me were friendly and patient. Never had a bad experience with Apple. I definitely will try to come back!
The store is huge with so many employees. Its also almost always busy so better to take an appointment prior to your visit if its a service related visit. Kids have special attention and they are kept entertained with a big screen and iPad pros and a trainer for using them. All in all very good experience with almost all apple products on display.
This relates to the one guy I dealt with as Apple is still not working for me. This last visit, though, service was prompt, efficient and he answered all of my questions to the best of his ability and before I knew it was done. If I had his name Id post it here because he deserves to go far.

Poor Customer Service! Was told to wait in corner and then forgotten about... when I asked for help again, they said I should go back to the Corner and someone will be sent to me... no one ever showed up. 20mins later, I left.
I was having some computer issues with my Macbook, so I took it into the Genius Bar where Kevin was able to help detect the issue right away. He answered all of my questions and was very pleasant to talk to.

I personally have had several great experiences with this Apple store. Most recently getting my iPhone 7 replaced. I went through a literal nightmare trying to get it done at Fashion Valley. They were the actual worst. Like legit - would rather smell old man farts for twice the amount of time over dealing with Fashion Valley Apple store.HOWEVER - UTC was the exact opposite. Super friendly every time I went in. Even with them dealing with the influx of battery replacements they were great with setting up an appointment. Then once I got in today Kevin - my tech was mega cool. Really treated me like a person. Took the time to read the case info and see that there was lots of past issues. Went above and beyond to get my phone taken care of that day.Overall real stoked on it. Go here over Fashion Valley any day.
Store is great as you would expect from any apple store. Sales staff is responsive and good service. However dont finance anything with them, Sales staff make claims that later when dealing with the actual bank are just not true. Then they will tell you that they hand it off to the bank and dont remember what they stated... I ended up with a bigger bill than I was expecting while setting up the purchase at this store.. Very disappointing.

Came in here when my iPhone 6s stopped turning on randomly. Brought it in, after having me wait 4 hours, finally to get to speak to someone from support. The technician told me right away that my logic board was fried, and that my phone would never turn back on again, and that my only option was to buy a brand new phone. She was very impatient with me, and seemed annoyed when I asked questions as to how my phone could randomly just die completely overnight. Having waited so long to meet the technician, I expected more patience. But no, she just wanted to rush me out of there. Surely enough, three days later my phone turned back on with no problems, and the logic board was fine. Had i bought a new phone right there under her pressure, I would have wasted my money. These people are impatient, and they prioritize customers who are potential sales way more than they care about providing support for Apple product problems. Bad experience.

Great customer service even when you dont have an appointment they are real quick to accommodate and help you get to your needs as fast as humanly possible. And their customer service is great they treat you as a person not a number.

I went into Apple because my iPhone XS displayed green and purple lines across the screen and then the touch screen stopped working. When I sat down at the genius bar I was informed that this is a common issue with the new model because it was engineered with 2 wires that are too close together and get pinched. He said they would replace the touch screen free of charge. When I came back to pick up my phone I was told that my phone showed water damage and so they would not replace the screen and I would have to buy a new phone....even though the only issue I was having with the phone was the touch screen not working (the phone was turned on, charged fine, etc.). This issue occurred on the last day of our honeymoon and my photos had not been backed up, so I am losing them all. I am very disappointed in Apples policy. The only issue my phone is displaying is due to their faulty engineering design but because of a little red water damage line they will not fix their own mistake so I can unlock my phone and back up my honeymoon photos.

Service not as good as Apple used to be. They used to make you feel special and appreciated as a customer. Now they just let you know theyre too busy and you cant get help without booking 3 to 5 days out. That would still be ok if they had that way of making you feel special that they used to have. Now its more like an assembly line. Im sad to not get the same level of extraordinary service that I loved.
This Apple store is a great Apple store, except for the fact that if you wanted somebody to help you, you had to wait for 15 minutes or even longer. I feel like thats normal for all Apple stores. The people here are helpful and are willing to tell you that iPad covers are cheaper on Amazon.

I’ve been a loyal customer with Apple since OS X panther. Maybe things have changed since then but the repairs in store and nothing but a rip off. The cost for screen repairs is border line extortion. I’ve owned iPhones since the original but this will be my final Apple purchase.Apple has changed from customer oriented support to caring only about profits.

If you wanna buy Apple brand goods, this is the place to do it. This store has a clean and sparse looking interior design. It can get quite crowded during holidays. The products have this patented Apple design aesthetic, and the Apple prices.
I visited today 06/05/2019 just beautiful what God has done since my early 20s.
We were a walk-in with a computer repair problem. They had an appointment available, but not for about 2 hours. This gave us time to see the mall, eat and get back for our appointment. They were able to fix the problem, which was wonderful!
