Its a beautiful Air B n B two large bedrooms and a fantastic view of the beach ⛱️ with in a few blocks from the beach walking or biking or driving! I had the prevlige to clean this unit I love 💕 to clean and make people happy 😊 with my cleaning nothing but the best no complaints!! Woohoo!! If you stay there enjoy!!

Our team had an amazing experience here! We had a chance to meet with Brandon when we checked in, and he made sure we had all the info about the house ahead of time. Even when we had a brainfart and couldnt figure out the firepit, Brandon was available by phone to walk us through it. We successfully had a perfect night under blankets by the fire. It was so relaxing, and the view of the city was amazing. I am so excited to use Mission Sands Vacation Rentals on my next trip to San Diego, they were beyond helpful!

I stayed at 719 San Gabriel Pl. for a long weekend earlier this summer with my girlfriend and 6 friends. We pulled up to the property and were pleasantly surprised to see two parking spaces. We were relieved and happy to find that it looked just like the pictures, newly furnished with fresh, mid-century furniture. There is a spacious master suite, an additional large bedroom and two beds upstairs in the loft. It is the perfect place in San Diego and Mission Beach to enjoy the summer. We were 15 steps from the ocean side boardwalk and 20 steps to markets, restaurants, and pubs.On the first night we enjoyed a leisurely stroll down the boardwalk to South Draft Mission at Belmont Park and enjoyed the sunset and delicious food. The property has ocean views off of two decks. On the bottom deck, we found ourselves barbecuing while watching the pelicans soar by and drinking coffee in the morning. The top deck is pure entertainment. The outdoor furniture is incredibly comfortable and it’s the spot to turn on great tunes and have a few cocktails with family and friends. As I stared up at the stars from the rooftop deck late one night, I began to wonder how I could extend my stay. Thanks for the awesome time, we will be back.

We needed something last minute for a few days and happen to walk past their office last month. Everyone was super friendly and Patrick Lynch was able to find us two possibilities very quick. He was super helpful and found us the perfect spot for our needs. We went with the PB Getaway Lower and the location was great! Two blocks, walking distance right from beautiful pacific beach and the size was perfect for my mother and two small pups. Very easy checking in and checking out with lock bock access to the keys. Our stay was very clean and well kept, had all the necessities +more and was a great value. If ever back in the area will use Mission Sands again! -Lily

My family and I stayed at the Glass Castle and I can’t begin to tell you what an amazing stay we had. Unfortunately, we were there for a memorial service so it was a last minute reservation but thanks to the hassle free, five star accommodations provided by the staff at Mission Sands, we had all the feel of a well planned vacation. Despite our purpose for the visit, our stay was very serene. The property could not have been any more perfect except that we needed a can opener. We were more than happy to leave the nice one we purchased at a near by mall because we thought it was so funny that the only issue we had was so small. The property was very spacious, extremely clean, and well decorated. We will definitely be using Mission Sands for future accommodations and would strongly recommend there services.

We had a great time! The condo was perfect! We went to San Diego as a family (my parents, sisters family, myself and my son). It was the best vacation. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for any easy vacation. Management was so helpful and went out of their way to help. I forgot a ring in the shower and called (never expected to here from them). They called me back the same day (I think within the hour) and agreed to send it to me! Thank you again!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful two-night stay at the Ocean Breeze. This house is amazing! It has three floors and includes a bonus rooftop deck accessible from the master bedroom. The rooftop deck is equipped with a fire pit and plenty of comfortable seating and the view is incredible.Mission Sands has taken great care to make sure that you experience all the comforts of home while on vacation. Each bedroom has a wall mounted TV and is stocked with extra linens, blankets and pillows. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, dishes and silverware to make serving a crowd simple. There is plenty of seating with two dining areas. And there is also a stacked large capacity washer and dryer to keep all of those beach towels clean.We were literally steps away from the beach which made our mini vacation much more enjoyable since we have toddlers and needed to frequently access the house for bathroom trips.The staff at Mission Sands was very friendly and knowledgeable about each property and helped us to find the house to best suit our needs. Customer service is definitely important to them and they were very helpful.We loved our stay at the Ocean Breeze and cannot wait until our next visit. If you are looking for a beautiful house that is well-stocked and just steps from the ocean, this is the place for you!

Ocean Breeze is an amazing property. We had a staycation here recently with 5 adults and 2 kids. It was really wonderful to start the day off with the kids playing at the beach without having to get in the car!!! It honestly took 60 seconds to be on the beach from the front door. Like others, we preferred to eat in since the kitchen was so well stocked and spacious. My 5 year old LOVED the stairs (we dont have any) and within 1 day my 2 year old was much more confident. We had the sliding doors open at night and it was wonderful falling asleep to the sound of waves. The roof is truly amazing... great views with plenty of seating and a pleasant place to relax. Also, I was impressed with the cleanliness and wonderful absence of smells in the house (I frequently have to go through 2-3 hotel rooms before unpacking.) Checking in and out was seamless and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had no problems during our stay and everything worked perfectly. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if it fits in your schedule.

I visited the beautiful San Diego with coworkers and had the pleasure of working with Brandon and the Mission Sands team! They helped make our stay better than ever with their amazing hospitality and professional services. We stayed in a three story beach house on Mission Beach with views that overlooked the ocean and were just minutes from the nightlife of Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. The house was extremely clean and their was plenty of space for visitors or a large family. I would recommend Mission Sands to anyone looking to stay in the area and also to check out some of their other properties!

If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet and peaceful vacation, this is the place for you. The sunrise was spectacular and you are just a few steps from the most beautiful sunset. You have both options. Our stay was in March, just before spring break, so the time was pretty quiet. During the summer there is more activity, but this was perfect for us.The kitchen is FULLY+ stocked with every utensil you would need if you decided to cook.This was a good choice for a vacation. Mission Sands Staff made everything super easy for us. The check in and check out process was very easy!

My family and I recently stayed with Mission Sands and had an amazing vacation. We decided to book last minute and the staff was more than accommodating. When we checked in, the person that helped us was very pleasant and welcoming. She informed us of the local businesses and activities that were in the area. We ended up staying at one of their properties right on the boardwalk, it was very well kept and clean. We ended up booking our next years vacation before we even left. I would highly recommend choosing Mission Sands if you are looking in the Mission Beach area for a great vacation.

I was blown away by how great this place was. The place is impeccably clean, spacious, and right next to the ocean. The decor is modern and amenities are incredible. I also loved the view/hangout area at the top! It is a short walk to the Boardwalk. I would highly recommend this place and hope to be back some time!

We had a great experience at the San Gabriel property! Perfect location...within walking distance to local bars and restaurants, Belmont Park and the beach. Everything was clean and the kitchen had every utensil and appliance you need to cook, the BBQ is a plus as well! Sara was awesome, she checked me in and out quickly and she was extremely courteous and professional. We will definitely be using Mission Sands again for our next trip to Mission Beach.

Friendly, personal staff helped to find us the PERFECT vacation rental for our needs. She made check in and check out as easy as it gets. They were quick to respond, and efficient (they even brought over propane gas for our grill when we realized we were out within 20 minutes). Great house in a great location. Absolutely enjoyed our stay.

My initial experience with Vacation Sands was a positive one. The staff was friendly and did a good job of communicating (with the exception of the phone not being turned of the answering machine at the appropriate time for their posted hours). Sadly I just got a call informing me that our reservation was cancelled, even though it was paid in FULL over 6 months in advance. This was due to a communication error between mission sands and the home owner. This mistake is either resulting in the cancellation of a well planned trip, or an addition $,1000+ for a rental (as all of the semi affordable ($550+ per night) properties have been rented in the area. All we got from them was a sorry and we have no other properties that fit your required beds.... I would not risk a well planned lengthy vacation on this company.

The unit that we rented was perfect. Couldnt ask for a better location. Nice furniture. Everything we needed. Mission sands service was excellent. We needed propane and someone came out right away to take care of it. We will rent from them again!

Had an awesome time in Mission Beach, San Diego.We rented the Jamaica Sands location. Absolutely wonderful!I got to cook dinner while watching dolphins swim just feet away from the surfers.Very knowledgeable staff and crew.Thanks again, we had such a wonderful time!

Two Thumbs up! House was excellent. Only request wouldve been if the speakers in the ceiling were operational but staff was good upon check-in. We did use reference to RADD sports and Jeff was great and really took care of our groups needs with rentals. He gave us very good pricing and even was accommodating of picking-up our rentals at the end of our stay.

Disgusting house and never replied to any of our concerns while we stayed there.

The location is the best ! Clean, wonderful views, best vacation Ive ever had. Took the whole family, very close to Sea World and the Zoo. Had a large beach area to ourselves. Planning on returning every year. Only thing I would let you be aware of, they say the price is so much per night but when you hit the reserve button be prepared for a fairly large amount of fees.

The place is outstanding! Huge flat screen TVs. Everything is new and top of the line. Beds are great and showers are very nice. It is stones throw from the beach. Cant wait to go back!

What a great place for hanging with the fam or friends at the beach! Water views through huge windows, 75 feet from the sandy beach and boardwalk, and love the rooftop patio for night time views. Many shops nearby - great location. I really liked sitting in the living room off the kitchen, a central place for everyone to be together, eat, watch TV, play games, talk, whatever.

BEWARE. I booked a vacation property from Mission Sands through Airbnb four months in advance of my trip. Mission Sands cancled the booking four days before my trip. They stated it was due to a water leak and mold. I understand this was out of their control and that is not what I have a problem with. When I contacted them directly they said they could not help me in any way and it was out of their control. They referred me to Airbnb and washed their hands of it. They also tried to blame Airbnb for the late notice even though they had my direct contact information. They had zero interest in helping resolve my situation and could care less if my vacation was ruined or had to be cancled. Do not use this company if you have any other option.

MissionSands did a great job with customer service during our stay in San Diego. We had an issue with the property we originally booked and they immediately took care of the problem and put us into a nicer, more expensive property without any additional charges. George, the owner, was very responsive when we contacted him on a Sunday, a day their office is closed. I would book again through MissionSands given the positive and responsive service we received from them.

I had family coming in from out of town to attend my graduation in May. We stayed in a simple and cute cottage with a big porch that was perfect for BBQing. The location was perfect where everybody was within walking distance to the beach, the bay and Belmont Park. My family and I enjoyed our 3 night getaway and was very pleased with the service.

My husband and I had a getaway here in mid February and really LOVED it! It is right on the Strand, and the unit we stayed in (#2 of the Jamaica Sands) is the second level overlooking the sidewalk and beach. All of the windows in the front slide open so you literally feel like you are part of the beach. Even though the whole front is glass you do have a lot of privacy with the option to pull down the ceiling to floor blinds. There is a fabulous view from every room. We felt like we slept on the beach, but within the comfort of a multi-million dollar home! The place was immaculate and squeeky clean. The kitchen was well appointed, but we rarely used it as there are a lot of great restaurants within walking distance. There is a jacuzzi tub in one of the bathrooms as well as a rain shower head in the other bathroom. Another perk is that there are TVs in both bedrooms hidden in TV cabinets. Next time we come we will definitely bring our kids aged 7 and 1 years old. The place is very kid friendly with a balcony that has glass from the floor to just above waist level, which is comforting with a 1 year old around. On top of that there is a washer to wash clothes which would definitely come in handy when the kids are with us. I also want to add that this property will be our choice to come to from now on for a few reasons. First, it is on the second floor which provides just enough privacy and safety for our family while still being part of the Strand. Second the whole front opens to let in the breeze and if youve ever been to Mission Beach in the summer you know that it gets hot. Most properties in MB do not have air conditioning and if you cant open a lot of windows it gets uncomfortable really fast. Lastly the property management company was awesome!

Edited to add - its been almost three months since we stayed there and we have yet to receive a response from the owners on the condition the place was in when we arrived there. This leads me to believe theyre okay with it, which is unacceptable, so I must change my review to say dont stay here, its dirty and poorly-maintained.First, let me just say that I would actually recommend this place. Beautiful location, walking distance to the beach and a lot of fun little restaurants, a beautiful and roomy upstairs, and the streets its on are little one way streets so theres hardly any traffic at all. Parking is a bit of a pain, but theres a lot of stuff in walking distance including the beach, and Uber is fantastic, so I wouldnt even bother bringing your car.There were some issues though.When we walked in none of the beds were made and all of the sheets were dirty. There were piles of dirty towels in both bathrooms, and trash in the trash cans. There were dirty dishes in the sink and in the dishwasher. Obviously theyre cleaning service had missed the boat. We had asked if we could have something delivered there before check-in time and they had told us it would be no issue because there was no one staying there the day before. So theyre cleaning service missed for a couple of days actually. That was issue 1.Issue 2 was sitting. There was a sofa and armchair, but other than that every single chair in the house was broken. Some you could sit on if you were very careful and treated them like a three-legged stool, others were instant death. We joked that we could take apart one or two of the chairs and use the pieces to fix the others, but we never got around to it. There was also a drawer front missing on the cabinets, so I think theres a bit of an issue with maintenance as well as cleaning.3rd issue was no Wi-Fi. They advertised Wi-Fi but we couldnt find any information on a password when we got there, but we did finally find the modem. Not only was it unplugged but the power cord was completely missing so, no Wi-Fi at all.If you stay at this place youll have a grand time, and you love being able to take a casual stroll to the beach anytime you want to, just make sure that theyre cleaning service has been there, that theyve had someone in to fix the furniture and maybe that drawer, and that the modem issue is resolved because you might die without Wi-Fi.

This is by far the worst rental group I have ever gone through. They had no sense of what they were doing in their office and were very rude and unaccommodating. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone! Your better bet is San Diego Vacation Rentals!

We stayed at Jamaica Sands this past weekend and the location could not be beat. It is a second story unit right above the boardwalk, overlooking the beach and water. We arrived Thursday night and were able to get into the condo using a lockbox on the front door. Included in the welcome packet are extra keys and a host of information for visitors, from where to eat and what to see. Their office is just a couple blocks away from the unit, within walking distance. What else is within walking distance is Belmont Park, with roller coaster, food and games.Mission Bay is central all the key things to see/do in San Diego. We took our two year old to Sea World twice while in San Diego. Being so close to Sea World made it easy to visit just a couple of hours and then get back to the condo for her nap without having to commute very far. It is also very close to downtown SD, where there are a ton of eating options in the Gas Lamp district.Back to the Condo itself though, Id have to say the most striking feature was the sliding wall of windows that overlooked the boardwalk and beach. While we visited in the Winter, we were still able to open it up for most of the day to enjoy the sun, fresh air and sounds of the beach. I can imagine that in the Summer time, it would be fantastic to have it open the entire day. There is a terrific bbq and patio area that we just didnt have time to use this past weekend, but both the patio and kitchen are equipped with high end stainless steel appliances.We had a great weekend with our daughter at Jamaica Sands. I highly recommend it if youre in need of a quick weekend getaway or even an extended stay for a week. George and his staff made the checkin process painless and communicated with me throughout the process.I would return for sure.

San Diego is home to a multitude of beautiful beaches! Theres something exciting about renting a house at the beach. Why rent a room when you can rent a whole house just steps from the ocean? Our group did just that and made an exquisite beach house from Mission Sands Vacation Rental our home for our recent trip to paradise in Mission Beach, which spans nearly two miles of oceanfront.The property was everything we anticipated and more. It was full of charm and beautifully decorated! From the moment we walked in the door, we felt right at home. Our three-story ocean view townhouse featured 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, as well as a private rooftop patio. It sleeps up to 12 people, so we had plenty of space, along with everything we possibly could have wanted at our fingertips. The house was ideal for our needs, as it was very well-equipped with all of the essentials plus some. It offered all the comforts of home with the added benefits being on vacation. They even offer a concierge service to guests who want to walk into a fully stocked kitchen or want recommendations for activities and restaurants in the city during their stay. Theres the convenience of three parking spots, a full kitchen, washer/dryer, grill, WIFI, bikes, and 3 balconies for guests to use during their stay, just to name a few! Aside from all of the amazing amenities, the location of our rental was phenomenal. A few steps out the front door and down the walkway and youre on the sand! We could walk and ride bikes all around Mission Bay on the Bayside Walk and cut over to the ocean easily. The unit had plenty of indoor and outdoor space for socializing as well as private spacious bedrooms and quiet sitting areas for anyone to go off on their own and have some alone time.Perhaps our favorite spot on the property belonged to the rooftop patio, where we loved spending the day taking in the ocean breeze and the evening underneath the stars. Side note: We highly recommend making smores on the rooftop and taking in the sunset!In our experience, the rental process with Mission Sands Vacation Rentals was very streamlined, which is appreciated by those who are new to vacationing here and unfamiliar with the location. Whether youre planning a family vacation or quick getaway with your friends, youll discover why Mission Sands properties come so highly recommended! Mission Sands definitely sets the bar high with its services, property location, and especially its level of hospitality during your stay.Great job Mission Sands! We rented this 5 bdrm/2 1/2 bath house for two nights and it was fantastic! George was the perfect host and has thought of everything to make this place a real retreat to enjoy the beauty of Big Bear. The game room with a pool table, ping pong table and foosball table was a big hit. We also took advantage of the indoor pool and had a mini olympic swimming contest and afterwards enjoyed a nice relaxing soak in the jacuzzi. There was plenty of parking for 5 cars. The rooms were all nicely decorated and the beds are really comfortable with a couple of them having their own TV. There was wifi and cable which was supper convenient.We had a really amazing weekend at this beautiful house in Big Bear. Whether you are wanting to relax and enjoy the ambiance of Big Bear and the house or go skiing and snowboarding this is the place to rent. You will not regret renting this place for 2 days or 2 weeks. We will definitely coming back next year for a return visit.I highly recommend the house, George and the rental company!!!
