Very nice, Scott and his team do a amazing job
The event space was set up beautifully. The food was memorable. Chicken marsala and mushroom ravioli--excellent. Our server Lelai was cheerful and always smiling.
Good service and great price. The staff and maintenance crew do well to keep the place in top shape. My company hosted an executive dinner at this location and the food was wonderful. We did a buffet style self-serve so I had a chance to try everything. The main proteins were chicken and salmon, both wonderfully done. Their dessert was some sort of strawberry shortcake and it was absolutely perfect, not too sweet nor bland. The venue is awesome. Nicole and the entire staff were terrific.
HORRIBLE SERVICE FOR MY WEDDINGYHEY LIED AND CHEATED MY GUEST & USI CAUGHT THEM IN A LIE & STILL NOT APOLOGIES ONCE,
This place takes me back to the 80s when there wasnt anything here at all!!
Very pleasent. Crowded but worth it. Had great food at The Firehouse Subs.
Really beautiful place to have a wedding venue.
A 3.5 rating would make more sense for this course, but Ill give them the benefit of the doubt. In my opinion, middling golfers will find it more challenging than the rating suggests. Second shots require a carry on few holes, meaning a layup might be required for shorter hitters. The greens were extremely fast the day I played. They continue to invest time and money in the redesign, and it looks like its starting to pay off. Some work remains though. Overall, no complaints regarding the overall shape of the course. The staff is great, and they have a free warm up net before the 1st tee.
Such a beautiful place. Staff GREAT and food was OUTSTANDING! And my niece was the most beautiful bride Id ever seen!
Beautiful place 💖👣
The food is AMAZING! Take out is just as fresh as if I were dining in. Such a wonderful experience to eat delicious food

Came here for 2 weddings. Both times had a great experience. Fairly large weddings too. Would be great venue for big or small weddings. If youre looking to get married, the parking here is plentiful (AND CLOSE) and the outside area is nice. Now if you need 500 guests, dont know if this place would work... As a wedding tip... Stop inviting people you dont know ;-) Cut it down to 250 and Im sure youll have a great experience here.
Looks nice
Course was very nice with unique, challenging holes. Fairways and greens were in nice shape contrary to some reviews we read. A few fairways were tight with dirt trail boundaries which made it more challenging, but manageable. We were immediately behind the Saturday morning mens club (8:24) and finished in about 4 1/2 hours. Course monitors were not the most helpful....but we werent relying on them, so no problem. All-in-all, we were glad we came and enjoyed it.
Fantastic wedding venue
My son had his wedding this past Sunday, Beautiful place with beautiful staff. Thank you for making their wedding beautiful...
Having our wedding at Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club was absolutely fabulous! The venue was beautiful and spacious inside and out with a lovely courtyard patio adjacent to the gazebo garden area where the service was held. The inside reception area has fantastic panoramic windows and side patios that provided our daytime wedding with the bright and open feel that we wanted. The service was excellent, the food was delicious (and gluten free), and Nicole, our coordinator, was awesome to work with! She was very professional, quick to accommodate our vegan guests, and so easy to work with given that most of it was from long distance! She offered us a special Sunday rate that included a delicious cake from Edelweiss Bakery that helped to keep us within our budget. DJ David Leeds was outstanding! Can’t say enough good things about CMRCC. Our wedding was perfect thanks to an awesome venue and staff!!Kyle & Alyson Hopkins
Beautiful place to be married or have an event! There is nice lawn areas at the top of the venue and below it. Great space inside the building for events with open spaces and big windows! Staff is kind and wonderful to work with.
Great golf course. Super friendly staff. The driving range was a bit suspect as you are hitting into a net, but after that, the course layout is superb. The greens were very soft and lush. I would definitely play here again. Good value.
Nicely laid out course. Quick but true greens. You would be better off if you havent played the course to play with someone who has. Many holes that you need to know exactly where to hit the ball. Looking forward to playing it a second time. The warm-up area is good for putting and chipping but the driving range is lacking in area and balls. It needs to be upgraded and definitely have decent balls to hit.
Reception was great. Beautiful course with great views. Lots of up and down, elevation changes. Course is in very good condition. Greens are fast with lots of texture. However pace of play was very slow. Had to wait on every shot. Took 4 hours to play 14 holes. I had to leave for the airport and didnt finish the round. Would have been over 5 hours. I complained to the desk staff who responded that their pace of play is 4.5 hours. Really? I recommend as long as you have all day to play.
Medium sized venue with all windows on the north and northwest side overlooking the golf course. It is very echoey with the hard floor.Very well kept, beautiful layout with a small balcony.Parking... parking lot is for members only. So, be prepared to park on the residential street and walk up hill. Plan on 10-20 minutes to walk, depending on where you park and how fast you can walk. There are very few walking paths through the landscaping so you’ll end up either walking all the way around it OR traversing through it hoping you don’t step on a plant or a snake. Lighting isn’t great after sunset.
A real Target Shooters course. No forgiveness left or right. Greens undulate a lot and the slope is so steep in places you cant place a ball without it rolling 20 and thats where the greens keeper placed a cup!!!!! Talk about sucking the fun out of a round. One fairway is so steep my left center uphill drive rolled backwards about a hundred yards.
Used to be a golf course and now its just an eye sore... I guess they still use the club house for weddings. I personally wouldnt support a company dragging housing values down
Good target golf. Greens always in great shape. Only reason not 5 stars because girl behind the bar was very rude and dismissive when we ordered drinks for back 9. Went in 2. 27 2018.
Went here fur a wedding of about 200 people. It was a good atmosphere, food was good.
Clean neighborborhood with amenities and necessities close by. Easy access to the 15 and 56. Superior schools that families walk their kids to school. The homes were a bit cookie cutterish for my personal taste, but they never lasted long on the market during my time there. Overall, Carmel Mountain is a great place to live if you want a quiet and safe suburban lifestyle in San Diego.
This venue is beautiful! Wide open area looks out onto a park and tall trees. Very nice.
I recently planned my 6th event at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club. The fact that I continue to refer this venue speaks well of its beauty, the location, the service and personnel. Nicole and her staff were extremely helpful in making my clients graduation party a memory she and her family will always cherish. Whatever the needs were, they were able to provide. Based on what the evening captured, I was able to refer an attendee that very evening for her anniversary celebration next spring. Thank you for allowing me to plan an evening of congratulatory memories that were so well suited for this beautiful venue! Jasmine, the graduate could not have been more pleased.
This club has seen better days as well as the course. We came here for golf (Underpar, only $79.00 for a twosome) which was adequate. They only have a driving net for warm up and I must say, it was in horrible shape; the putting green was in good shape. No one to help with bags, no ice chest on the carts, no beverage cart service while out playing. The starter was nice and friendly though. Its just lacking all the way around. Too many other courses to play.
The staff was so pleasant and always had smiles on their faces.
Staff was great, course leaves quite a bit to be desired. During the renovation they removed all of the rough and left it as dirt. If it was maintained, that would not be so bad, but the areas are full of weed patches and drainage gullies. Being that this is an extremely hilly course this was not well thought out!!!!
I love this venue! The interior of the reception area is beautiful and the view is awesome. I highly recommend you check it out for your next wedding or event. Its really a hidden gem.
Played for the first time. Great layout with awesome views. The fairways were both gernerous and challenging and the misses were forgiving. The greens were in superb shape and the putts rolled true....cant wait for my next round! Thanks!
Amazing venue. Multi-story place with an extremely beautiful view. Area is somewhat secluded which makes it ideal to hold events.
This course is pretty challenging. But, the staff and maintenance crew do well to keep the place in top shape. Friendly team in the club house, and nice GPS carts.Only downside is the lack on parking on a Sunday morning.
I just got off the phone with a sales person (Vince) with Bench Craft that sells advertising for the Carmel Mountain Ranch Golf Course. He was trying to sell advertising for the course. He was extremely rude and tried to strong arm me into buying advertising on score cards, etc. After looking at the companys reviews, I think Carmel Mountain Ranch would be better served having another company sell your ad space. For my business, I talk to many sales people, and I have never experienced someone so rude and with such low character.
Really pretty place! i took a lot of pictures! many school banquets and formal events are held here. it gets really cold at night so stay warm if you are going to a night event!
Nice course good deal! Greens are in great shape, fairways are not bad either! They have done alot with the course.. It is in much better shape then previously.. I think the new ownership is doing a better job. Reason I give it 3 stars is because some of the holes im just not a fan of.. But good service and great price!
Fun course with a lot of challenging holes. Be careful though the greens are pretty fast. And lastly bring extra balls.
Sarah and her staff were absolutely wonderful in helping with the planning, preparation and all final touches with the wedding reception. If you are looking for an excellent venue to host a special event like a wedding reception or any other special occasion, this is the place. Beautiful location, awesome venue!
Venue was quite pretty and they have many options for planning your wedding. Plenty of parking also.
Great staff. Food is pretty good. I would recommend the clubhouse. the course, however, leaves a bit to be desired. It is very unforgiving to a slice, and balls end up in the yards of homes that are very close the course.
The course is well kept with the greens in excellent conditions!. Good job to the green keeper! Well recommended.
Beautiful venue. Surrounded by nature.
Nice facilities and staff friendly. Very narrow course with lots of dirt or mulch off the fairways. Not much sand in bunkers... more just dirt. Greens very hard and not in very good shape.
Course has always been a very good course Due to the high cost of water they can no longer afford to maintain the course and it will be closing within the next week. This has happened to many of the good courses through out San Diego county. WHAT A SHAME!
Friendly and helpful staff. Golf carts with GPS. Large practice green. Fun course. Driving range into nets but ball flight is tracked via computer.
Greens are very good, pin placements terrible, in spots where the ball wont sit even if you placed it. Bunkers are more like hard pack with sand on top but thats pretty much the norm around here.
I play the full 36 hole course and even kicked the 8 ball in on my last couple of field goals. The whole staff was very attentive to smoking my sack, but didnt kick in. We all got wasted and thats why I love Jimmys car wash and batting cages.
This course is scenic, which is nice. However there are HUGE drives between holes. The course is extremely segmented, you will find yourself driving on sidewalks of major roads waiting for streetlight to turn green, through multiples tunnel underneath roads, and all about the neighborhood surrounding the golf course. This is unacceptable. Aside from slowing down play horribly, this lends itself to an unpleasant experience that detracts from your golf day.Wont be coming here again.
Photographed a wedding here. Admins are nice. Quiet and relaxing.
Clean place friendly people but you need to have money
Extremely friendly staff and patrons, the course has many interesting holes, its target golf, so you get to use a variety of clubs from the tee box
The Carmel Mountain Ranch Country Club was a perfect venue for our sons wedding. The room was beautiful with its view overlooking the trees to the Laguna Mountains in the distance. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Nicole who was very patient and knowledgable. The food was excellent, as we got many compliments from our guests. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a wedding or any other special event.
Great place to play golf and the bar/restaurant is fantastic. They make you feel very welcome.
Hi I am a neighbor of the CMR golf course, I am absoulltly positive everybody is just wonderful to the golfers and the greens are in great condition BUT the Management is absolutely not a good neighbor....I have requested some maintenance on the bank on the back of my yard for 3 years now, and nothing has been done. Before these owners took over I would call the Maintenance people to clear out some of the overgrowth and within the week the gardeners would trim and clean up the area.....no problem. Ive written letters, Ive left messages and nobody gets back to me.Sound like a petty complaint but we quietly put up with golf balls in our yard, crazy angry golfers yelling and lawn mowers way too early in the morning, this is something to expect living on a golf course....but normal clean up and maintenance shouldnt be something ignored.
My son went for his birthday. Enjoyed the course.
Coarse was in great shape and the 19th hole put me in better shape.
Very well maintained over the years, solid golf carts hidden in a quiet neighborhood.
Fun golf course to play. Great greens and layout
Nice place to visit and t-off with co-workers and family....very spacious
Patrons are noisy and terrible at golf. The greens arent maintained well. Id suggest golfing up in RB its much nicer.
Great place to stay... 3rd floor stairs can get agrevating with luggage.
Played a early morning round with a few friends. Course was in great shape and very well maintained. Would play there again for sure!
Amazing place. Scenic beauty of the nature is well maintained.
Fast greens running true. In great shape since JC Club took over.
Everything was great .... when it town thats the place to eat..
Course has been closed, not well maintained and has fallen into disrepair. It is now an eyesore for the entire community.
Nice course. But the play was kinda slow, we had to wait at every hole.
Because every time we come there for family events, we all have a great time. Full bar with IPAs, cant complain about that!
Loved the golf course. Staff was friendly and holes were definitely challenging.
Nice courses, decent shape. A little pricey for what you get in my opinion.
Good course. Was too difficult for my abilities.
Decent golfing. RB country club is a better experience
Words can’t describe how amazing CMRCC’s team was for our wedding, but I’m going to give it my very best. Long story short, if I could plan our wedding all over again we would go with CMRCC 100% and recommend it to everyone we know!Food: most common comment from guests “that was the best wedding food that I have ever had in my life, and that includes my own wedding!” We had a beef, salmon, and mushroom entrée with the shrimp and tomato hors devours. The chef snuck our sweet heart table extra entrees and the staff made sure to bring out the hors devours to me while I was taking photos. Perfect rating on both food, service, and value. We had an open bar, which many of our guests commented was extremely generous with their pours.Ceremony Area: It is stunning with a lovely gazebo. Everything was set up for us so we didn’t have to lift a finger.Reception Area: even more stunning than the ceremony, the reception room floods with gorgeous lights, huge windows, and perfectly placed chandeliers. It’s so gorgeous, that no décor is needed at all. It seated our 100 guests comfortably with a dance floor in the middle.Coordination: Nicole Manalo is the QUEEN of event planning. Before the wedding day she kept my entire vendor team on the same page and emailed me all the time to keep me on task. Any time I needed a second opinion, she was there. She event coordinated everything while having a baby! How amazingly dedicated can someone be! We eventually hired her to be our day of coordination and she had the timeline under wraps and corralled everyone very well. Our wedding was so very smooth thanks to Nicole’s fantastic coordination skill and experience.
Its a great place to dine and golf wonderful bartenders . great service.
Seems to be very quiet. Not too much going on there.
Very nice course, not easy. Nicely groomed.
Love this track....only bad thing i can say is ..i lost my CIF class ring here..or the cart kids ddnt turn it in.due to me overlookin it in the cart at end of round. i would never point fingers.butt $500 is $500 ..& i went back to see if they had seen it..butt it was real gold .and i can see how a person wouldnt return it.course is great ..and would return.
Great Course. Very challenging. The rental clubs are very expensive at $50. I would play here again.
I live there . I have for 20 years. I love it!!
Great course to play. Unique and fun holes.
Always have a great time with family and friends, plying on a corse full of challenges.
Whoever designed this course does not play golf! No clear spots to hit to that reward you.
Fun course. Greens in great shape.
Facilities were fine, pretty nice. But most of the grass near the edge of the course was dead, ruined the view.
Great wedding and reception venue!
Beautiful venue! Great place to have a wedding!
Played once in July. Course was in good shape and staff was friendly. I think it was about $45 for a round with cart and they gave you a coupon to come back and play again for $25 before the end of August.
The golf course is closed down like the others. Expect more housing:(
Never again. This is where 6 hours of your life goes to die. Horrible pace of play. thin and skimpy fairways. Inconsistent greens. Dont waste your time or money.
Family friendly and the staff is very helpful
Fun, great staff! No complaints!
People are not polite. And when they disagree they are quik to have an attitude
