I had broken a timing chain on my 2009 Hyundai and the engine had seized up. So I go to Phenix Auto Recycling for a newer engine. I was told it had about 67,000 or so. Take old engine out, put the newer engine in. No problem.I was told that they would replace the timing belt and the other belts. So, here I am three years later with a bad timing belt. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! They did not replace the belts on the engine. NO TIMING BELT; NO SERPENTINE BELT and any other important belt. They did put a New Clutch in and that works fine. That is why Phenix gets one star. But what good is a New Clutch if the engine stops working after only 20,217 miles. They said the engine had 67.000 miles when I got it. So lets do the math. That makes it 87,527. A timing belt should be changed every 90,000 miles. THEY LIED TO ME. On my bill it said they did it. Oh by the way there is no Licence number on their bill.BEWARE IF YOU USE THESE GUYSThe Engine was out of the Car, how easy it would have been to replace the belts. Damn, I would have paid extra for the belts. GEE, the Invoice does say I paid 73.94 for engine parts. If you want to shafted, these are your guys
