Charlie is a wedding coordinators dream. I had the opportunity to work with Charlie on a wedding at The Thursday Club. He was always in the right spot at the right time and I have to give him a shout out for how much love and care he puts into his work. My husband and I hired dirt cheap wedding photography for our wedding. We chose the basic unedited 4 hour photography because we didnt have a very long wedding, and most photographers have about a 7 hour time frame, which doesnt work for a 6 hour wedding. Suzanne Sanger was our photographer, she was so sweet and took absolutely amazing pictures. She had us pose, made sure the light and exposure was perfect, I cannot believe we got such good quality photos for such a cheap price. Were both glad we chose dirt cheap photography, Suzanne captured every moment we wanted before, during, and after the ceremony, and more! None of them even need to be edited, honestly. I cannot reccomend them more!!

Charlie and his team were fabulous to work with from day one. I own a small event planning business and I reached out to Charlie on behalf of a client. Charlie was very responsive and his business is well put together. The information that he provided was extremely detailed and informative so much so that I was able to interact with him directly and still provide enough detail to my clients.What I really like about this company is that they provide additional suggestions and recommendations along the way. They are extremely professional and cover all of the bases with their contracts. As an events specialist, this is THE BEST that one could ask for.Now, on to the service...the lighting provided was very good and well placed. I didnt have to worry about telling them where to put anything...everything was perfect. I hired them for one of my events and I was very impressed with the price and the quality of their work. Charlie went above and beyond answering my multiple questions and helping me make my event special and unique. Everyone enjoyed his music and we had a wonderful time. The photos and the videos came out amazing as well. Its much easier and less expensive to hire one company to do everything instead of dealing with multiple vendors. Highly recommend!

We just had our wedding this past weekend and were beyond thrilled with Charlie and his team of photographer and videographer. Charlie was always in communication with us from day one and would reply back quickly every time we had a question or input. His experience in the field helped out tremendously when it came to situations or questions that I had no idea how to answer, Charlie would bring his knowledge and experience to help out in these areas. I have had the pleasure of working with Charlie over the last few years for an event my team has each year in Anaheim, and have found his pricing to be competitive and his service fantastic. He has been the person that provides our mics, speakers, and this year we opted to have him remain on site as our sound engineer (which I highly suggest).Our event involves guests who speak to a crowd of about 80-150 people, with about 4-6 guests at a time on stage. DJ charlie was hired to do my wedding ceremony and reception, and he definitely exceeded my expectations. He was incredibly professional, flexible, reliable, well-dressed, and spoke very well on the microphone to make announcements, introductions, etc. The dance floor was packed all night long and everyone said he was the best DJ they had ever heard. We rented a small PA sound system for our wedding reception. They were very knowledgeable in asking me the correct questions to make sure I had the system that meet our needs for the evening. Everything was worry-free and stress-free!! The system was set-up and ready to go when we got there. It was perfect for what we needed for the evening. They dropped everything off set it up and picked it up all for one very reasonable price! I would highly recommend them and would definitely rent from them again! I got their Best all-inclusive package which came with DJ/MC services, lighting, photography and videography. I couldnt be more satisfied with Charlie and his team. They were super friendly and attentive to details from start to finish. The music was great and everyone had lots of fun and the lighting looked absolutely beautiful. We used DJ Charlie for our wedding video and could not be happier! Just two weeks before the wedding I realized we may regret if we dont get a videographer...but by that point, our budget was pretty blown. Well DJ Charlie to the rescue, his services are affordable and we were SO happy with the end product! He is so polite and professional and you can tell he put so much time and effort to make our video absolutely perfect. One of the best wedding decisions we made was hire him!

Charlie was professional from start to finish. The equipment he selected for my daughters wedding ceremony in a rather windy part of Balboa Park worked flawlessly. Besides the wind, it was a difficult location without power and the ceremony included live instrumental and vocal performances. Everyone could hear perfectly. The speaker and subwoofer system that he set up for the reception in my backyard totally rocked at all volumes so we could back it down after midnight and keep the neighbors happy. It also did just what we needed for toasts, speeches and announcements. I definitely recommend getting the subwoofer to give you the bass that the dancers want without requiring earsplitting volume. Charlie or his assistant set everything up and took it down right on schedule, explained everything and just made it all very easy. With so many moving parts in a wedding, being able to rely on Charlie was a great relief.

I hired them to provide DJ services, live music, lighting, photography and videography for my wedding. Charlie and his team did an excellent job. Charlie and crew made our special day everything we hoped for and more! They micd our ceremony on a golf course and it sounded great live and in the video! The uplighting and sweet DJ gear in the reception set the mood for an amazing night. Charlie worked with us at odd hours to due to a busy schedule to plan the perfect day and after party! We gave him the music we wanted and trusted him to fill in the rest and we couldnt have been happier! The videographer provided with the service was obviously a professional and the quality was everything we could have hoped for. We ended up enlarging the wedding photos and quality was awesome for large canvas prints. We have met plenty of people that pay more for a photographer alone, thinking they are getting something special and we show off our footage and they are bummed they payed so much. Meeting Charlie and using Golden Gate Sunrise Entertainment was meant to be! We cant go to a family function without someone commenting on what an awesome day that was and how good our reception was including the music! I opted for the sound system setup for our 13 year olds birthday party at home. Before talking to Roman I didnt even know about that option. It turned out to be the perfect solution for a crowd of teens with their smartphones filled with playlists :) They enjoyed connecting to a real professional sound system that worked impeccably.All terms and conditions were very clearly explained in advance in absolutely professional and prompt way. Charlie is one of the most professional, courteous DJs I have ever had the pleasure to work with. After going back and forth with my husband if we were going to get a DJ or not for our wedding we decided to take the plunge. Charlie showed up on time to every appointment we had and was patient with us going over our time line and music choices.He also was very quick about returning our e-mails. Our DJ Chase and videoographer Milagro did an amazing job on the day of our wedding setting everything up to the specifications that we requested. We received so many compliments on our DJ all night! My fiancée did not want a videographer and pretty much told me no. We werent looking for anything fancy and my uncle offered to do it for $1,000, but yet again I was turned down. I decided to search the internet and found their great reviews and their cost to be within my price range, which at that point was nothing. I signed the contract and paid my deposit online. I was hesitant at first since I had no human contact with this company and was a bit worried that this was a scam, but DJ Charlie has always been quick to respond and kept in touch with me throughout the year. They arrived on time and I was able to have the video that same day. They are very professional and worth a lot more than what I paid for. They even gave me a 2nd camera for free.

We highly recommend Roman / Dj Charlie Walkrich.We were very happy with Roman aka DJ Walkrich for our wedding videography! Our wedding took place on Jan 2014, at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse, San Diego. Initially we were only planning to get video for our ceremony, but are very happy that we got video for the entire event! From the very first video samples we noticed Roma’s attention to detail (we designed and produced our own wedding, so we would know all the details ), and high quality throughout the video capture.After the wedding we received our first video samples, and we were like “Wow! He got that on video, that looks great! We wouldn’t even think about that!”. Roman showed us our wedding from the point of view of other guests, and we re-lived our wedding from his point of view many times. In addition to all the standard wedding events such as ceremony, bouquet toss, cake cutting, toasts, etc we got to see many things that we would’ve never been able to see, because as bride and groom you only have so much time during the wedding. We are still re-living our wedding watching the videos.We also went with Roman’s company for the video editing. Needless to say, because there was so much great material to begin with, he did a great job on the more condensed versions as well.Highly recommended! 
