The owners of Laurel parking allow on-line cheap parking companies to overbook their parking facility and even if you book in advance they do not have to accept your reservation. We arrived with a reservation and were told they were full. We showed them our reservation and they said it meant nothing. Until the owners change their policy, stay away. It could easily mean you miss your flight.
Get any promises in writing or you could be left hanging($$). I called a day before I arrived to verify if they would accept two coupons for one visit. I was assured they would. But upon checking out the supervisor on duty said we will honor only one per visit. Of course I did not have it in writing and after stating what I was told he said it didn’t matter You have to pay…., Then instead of charging me the “clearly posted daily rate” he wouldn’t let me leave unless I paid $5 per day MORE than posted rate and coupon rate for the days that they would not honor their word of acceptance. MY OPINION IS DO NOT USE Laurel Airport Parking. They are not honest or stand by their word. Do you want to do business with a company YOU CAN NOT TRUST?
Stay far far away from this place! I paid for my booking far in advance and upon arrival I was told lot was full. They have not refunded my card back. It almost made me miss my flight I had to drive around and look for parking a busy Friday took and extra 45 min. Don’t do it! Save yourself the stress and headache!
Do NOT book here! We booked here (prepaid online) and when we got there the parking lot was full and they were not letting anyone in even with reservations!! Can’t get ahold of anyone to get a refund. Had to quickly find another parking area so I didn’t miss my flight.
Worst parking for sure. Very unprofessional and they don’t care about the customers. I parked my vehicle there for a week and came back to a discount card on my vehicle. I had paid in advance online. I asked if I could use the discount card and the attendant tried to charge me again. I told her I already paid. She didn’t know what to do so she had me pull over and wait for 20 min until someone came who knew what was going on. They said I could just leave since I paid in full already. When I asked about the discount and if they can help offset the cost since I was almost double charged and forced to wait there longer than I should have, they said there was nothing they can do. They don’t care if they inconvenience you or double charge you and won’t do anything to help you out. I suggest parking anywhere but here. I have parked at Aladdin and San Diego Airport Parking Co. and both were better. I will never park here again and suggest no one to ever park here either.
They have their lot listed on 3rd party apps like “Way” but don’t accept their reservations and constantly get overbooked. Arrived early for my flight and got delayed looking for a new lot because they didn’t take me in after I had paid for a reservation. Thankfully I found a good lot nearby and made my flight right before boarding.This is not 100% the apps fault, both parties need to communicate.
By some miracle my car wasn’t dented. Don’t park here. Yes it is close. Yes it is cheap. It took me 45 minutes to get the shuttle and back to my car. Another 15 minutes to get out of the parking garage. Even though I had pre-paid and did not need a receipt they made me wait for the ticket to be processed. They said I could park anywhere it wasn’t my way. The only spots open we’re on the roof and anyone that has any size to them would not have fit out of the door.
When we dropped our vehicle off on 1/19/2021, service was just fine. When we picked up our vehicle on 1/23/2021, we were picked up at the shuttle around 3:45pm by a gentleman than had no regard for the pandemic and packed the max people in the vehicle when easily he could have made another trip. While we were waiting for my husband to bring our van down to the main level because their elevator is still broken, the same driver drive like a maniac to turn around and squeal out of the garage, all while we were standing next to him in the “lobby”. This employee needs evaluated as we have never had issues with this parking garage.
Won’t let anyone walk up to the roof just to watch the planes. I get it, it says so on the sign. But there are reviews of people doing so with in a few days of this review, maybe it depends on the person. But just be consistent…
I travel often for work and notice that most of the time parking attendants have attitudes. Not today at Laurel airport parking in San Diego! We had a situation and he resolved it professionally. Good job Andy!!

This place has gone downhill since the new ownership. Ive been coming for years and shuttle times are ridiculously long now. This location has one van (fits about 9) and one minivan. Most of the time its only running one.I ended taking an Uber from the parking structure to the airport because the line at the parking structure was 25+ people. That would have taken 2hours since they take 30 minutes for a round trip.Waiting at the airport for a shuttle is a joke. Nothing worse than seeing 2 or 3 aladdin shuttles pass while waiting for your one shuttle to come.
They have the best views if your a plane spotter but, if your a regular traveler some or most of the time they will be full and you will have to park somewhere else.
Refused to let me in though I had a paid booking confirmation.Said they were full. Did not take responsibility for the fact that they were overbooked. The only solution they offered was a VALET parking 20$ more per day. I almost missed my flight and had to park at the airport
Called at 6:08pm for a ride now 6:54pm at terminal 2 still not here. Called them twice, horrible service don’t recommend. They deliberately make excuses and lie and don’t come when they say they will. Kept telling me van was on the way. Waited over 50 minutes and there parking lot is only 5 minutes away. Be aware they will make you wait as they want to pick up more than 2 people.
Very happy with Laurel Airport Parking. My car was safe and secure. The shuttle to and from San Diego Airport was great...on time and the driver was very friendly.
Don’t park here!! I pre-paid for a reservation for 7 days parking and showed up to a sign saying LOT FULL! The employee at the front kiosk said, “sorry, get a refund”.So I had to scramble to find parking elsewhere, paid almost double the price of what I had originally booked.This easily could have made me late for my flight had I not planned on arriving early. Terrible customer service! To make it worse, way.com only refunded what I originally paid, not the amount I ended up having to pay the other company.
Purchased a Groupon for a week to park here. Arrive at the parking garage. It was full. Thankfully, I have myself a lot of time. Was able to wait for someone to leave and I parked. The lady wrote some squibbish on my pink parking ticket.Returned a week later. Andy was working. Andy was sloppily trying to make out what the previous lady wrote on my ticket. Andy was confused. Andy finally found my Groupon. Still appearing confused, Andy sloppily states that it looks like I was parked an hour or two longer than when the week officially expired. Andy decides to charge me another full day. Not only that, he decides to charge me the one day rate. Not even the “$11.99” they promote. Got charged another $16. This place is poorly run, unorganized, sloppy, and sloppy again.Don’t recommend parking here. Save the trouble and park at one of the others.
Purchased a Groupon, says no reservation required but when I tried to park at the lot, after a 15 minute wait (2nd car in line) attendant stated the Groupon is for roof parking only, they were full and turned me away. He couldve at least asked if I wanted to pay the difference to park in the garage. He directed me to Aladdin Parking nearby and had a wonderful/easy experience there. Good thing I wasnt late for my flight because the whole process was time consuming and unpleasant. Now stuck with a Groupon that will likely expire because I dont want to return for fear of same thing happening. Pay extra and go to anywhere else nearby.
We made a reservation in advance to park here. When we get to the lot they tell us the lot is full and that we can’t park our car!——No email was sent prior to this informing us that we couldn’t park or that our reservation is invalid. On top of this they told us we have to go through a process online to request a refund, they couldn’t do it automatically which is annoying. Everything about it was just Very unprofessional.When we asked what we do, since we have a flight to catch; They told us to park across the street at alladins, which we did however this took us time to get there because of the one way streets, by the time we parked at Alladins and got on the shuttle and made it to the gate we literally were 2 min away from almost missing our flight. The anxiety of missing our flight and running to our gate was not worth the cheaper price that laurel airport parking offered in comparison to alladins across the street. this is why we chose laurel in the first place. Never again will i use laurel airport parking service and i wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, not worth saving a few extra dollars, park at alladins.
I’m still shaking as write this. I’m so upset with this establishment. I was here two weekends ago. Gloria, the cashier didn’t let me in, because I didn’t have a reservation. She said I have to wait 20 minutes. I left and went to park at Aladdin, because I didn’t want to miss my flight. I called this week to make reservation for the weekend and Oscar told me they don’t take reservation. It’s first come first basis. Well when I pulled in this morning, Gloria said lot is full and I must have a reservation. I’m now stuck with a Living Social voucher that I can’t use because it will expire next month since I don’t have any other travel plan in the near future. This place is a rip off. They make up the rule as they see fit. I called corporate this morning and no one answered. I don’t recommend this place. I have to agree they have the lowest rate for airport parking, but you get what you paid for. The shuttle is slow and they typically only have one shuttle running. The wait time is loooooooooong. It’s not worth the hassles and saving. I end up parking across the street at Aladdin again.
We waited more than 30 minutes for our shuttle. Meanwhile, Alladin came by 4 times.... Then they didnt have enough room for all of us in the van. The driver had someone sit on the floor, had me sit on a little plastic stool, and asked if my wife could sit on my lap. Horrible customer service!!! Not enough vans. sit
I used to go here until now. I had called to be picked up and told the drive who answered the phone call my location. He said he will be on the way. 30 mins later I called back because I was not picked up yet and the I was told that I need to be in another spot. Ok I walked over there and waited another 20 mins and I still had to make a third call to be picked up. When I did get picked up the drive was rude and when I open the door so I can get in the van he started to give me an attitude. When I arrived at the parking lot the open the door again to get out and asked him to pull up because I could not get my luggage out since he parked to close to the other car the attitude was back and I was told that that was his job to open the door. Guess I will not be back there to park my car again.
I arrived at the airport with my mom on Friday, August 27. I showed Monica (the name she gave me) my Groupon for 4-day parking. She asked me for our reservation and I told her I only had the Groupon. I was not aware that we needed a reservation. She had 5 cars waiting to be parked and said she could do valet. We said ok and went on our way.When we arrived at Laurel Parking tonight, we were picked up by Randy. Randy deserves 5 stars. He was SO nice, quick to pick us up, helped with our luggage, and was really kind. He should be working valet at a 5-star resort to be honest.Because of Monica, I now understand why this place has been rated so poorly by everyone else. As we left (about 20 mins ago), she told us our Groupon could not be used because we used Valet. We only used Valet because she told us that was the only way to park there given we didn’t have a reservation. She said the fine print on Groupon states you can not use valet with Groupon, but I showed her the fine print (only a paragraph) and she still insisted we pay the valet price of $20 per day.She was incredibly rude, and should not be working there at all. She should not be working a customer service job for that matter.I hate writing bad reviews, but this one was necessary so that you can do some rehiring and so that everyone reading can park somewhere else.5 stars to Randy.Attached is a photo of the fine print stating nothing about valet.

Parking spaces are small and they over sell spaces and then valet your car as space opens up. If you have a small vehicle bring it. The spots can be tight for a pickup or SUV. Price was cheapest with and online offer but because of them being short staffed for their airport shuttle service, we ended up missing our flight. We arrived at the lot at 4:45 a.m. and they only had one driver and a small van running passengers to the airport. At a little after 5:00 a.m., the van returned and filled up quickly. They were asking to sit on laps or sit on the floor. The driver said he would be back in 15 minutes but it took close to 40 minutes. Most folks were taking Uber or Lyft. I did not have the apps loaded on my new phone. Should of called a cab. We arrived at the airport at 6:00 a.m.. Missed baggage check and had to then arrange new flight on a red eye. Lesson learned.
We purchased a groupon way in advance and called in to make a reservation. They would not take a reservation, but said that early morning parking was no problem. We arrived at 4:30 am and were told they were not accepting groupons! Fortunately we were able to find parking at Aladdin and made our flight. Horrible, run down parking garage! Dingy, dark, dirty, looks like an abandoned building that homeless use. Slow check-in, VERY slow shuttle pick up from airport (must call...no automatic shuttle). Understaffed. Garage floors have soot that sticks to suitcase wheels and then transfers dirt marks to car upholstery. Recommend Aladdin Parking right across street for similar rates...night and day difference. Will never park at Laurel Parking again...please avoid!
Overbooked. So they parked my car instead. All the staff friendly but they are kind of a mess even with their computer and technology. There was about 5 customers they were dealing with and the poor lady was overwhelmed. But its cheap, my car had a spot...so eh! Lol. Took me an hour to check out. Still waiting for receipt.
I’ve used this service through Groupon and without Groupon, I’ve used them for the last time. The parking spaces are so small, it takes a coordinated effort to get back in the vehicle (cars parked so close together, you may have to pry yourself in through the passenger side and crawl over the console). The shuttle back & forth is the truly awful part, you need to call for the one van they have running, then wait, and wait, and wait some more. We watched every other parking service come by 2 or 3 times before our shuttle came. We called 3 times, each time we were told they were on their way. They don’t care about the people who park there, they’ve got your car being held ransom. If they gave me free parking, I wouldn’t use them again.
Scammers. Told me I was supposed to know my truck needed to be valeted when I made my reservation but its not true. Nothing mentioned my regular sized tundra wouldnt fit.
Absolutely the WORST parking experience ever. We pre-paid for a reserved parking spot over a month in advance before our trip. They processed our payment in full but when we showed up the day of our trip to park they said the lot was full and there was nothing they could do and they turned us away. Unbelievable!! Will never use them again.
I will never park here again. The facility is poorly maintained, the shuttle service is subpar. Their shuttle driver is a terrible driver with no regard for passenger comfort or safety. Park across the street at Aladdin, it is much better.

The Groupon deals are great, so they get a 3 but availability gets 1 star. I dont understand how at 4am they are always full. I always call ahead of time at 2am or before I pull in just to check if they have space and they NEVER have space. I watch cars come in and out and call again and they say the same thing. So overall, they never have space!
I used this company ( Laurel) few times due to good deal from Coupon.. every time, I had to wait up to 45 minutes for pickup in San Diego Airport in the cold..It kept happening and this is my last time using them.

I purchased a Groupon and had not idea what to expect at 5:30 am on January 18, 2021. The attendant was alert, friendly very helpful with very clear instructions. After parking and securing my vehicle, I walked downstairs and within a few minutes a driver with a van pulls up. He too, was friendly and helpful. Excellent service.

Last time I park here! It took 30 mins for the shuttle to come get us. We literally sat there and watched 6 Wally park shuttles go by. It didn’t use to be this bad but our last 3 trips it’s taken this long.
I waited an HOUR to be picked up from the airport. I called @ 9pm told them the terminal # and was directed where to stand...at the courtesy van sign. I called again after waiting for over 20 minutes and again 20 minutes after that. Each time I was told a van had just left the garage to collect me. I was furious by the time I was picked up. (See photo of phone time stamp ) No apology was given or explanation? ALADIN VAN picked up 6 times while I waited for Laurel, I’ll go with them next time.
Made reservations for a 4-day park several weeks in advance of my trip. On arriving, the attendant told me they were full - after showing him my reservation he told me to leave me car and keys and they would park it when a spot became available. The couple behind me were in the same situation with a reservation and they were REFUSED ENTRY EVEN WITH A PREPAID RESERVATION. The shuttle van seats and window were broken as well.
BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS PARKING LOT. We made a long term parking reservation well in advance. Showed up and the rude attendant stated there was no spaces and our reservation did not matter! We could not find parking in time and missed our flight!

I made reservations about 2 weeks ago. When I should up this morning, they told me that they were full and the reservations didnt matter even though I paid for them already. This ultimately forced me to have to pay 32 dollars a day for parking. Stay away!!!!!
It’s early morning on 1/5 /21 At 4:30 am the entrance gate is closed and the young lady wanted us to enter on the exit gate . I felt weird, this is a 24 hrs parking ?We parked on the 5th floor. Then we came down to see the driver.We greet the driver, but he didn’t response we waited for him to help us to carry our luggage to put in the van, but we have to wait until he said so, he looks like just woke up from his nap since the entrance gate is closed this will be a warning for him to get up and not expecting we’re coming and he looks likes does want to take us to the airport. He was a reckless driver turning left and right with no cautious randomly I have to secure my neck since that I have a spine surgery. I’m not sure why he was upset. He asked what airlines and that’s all the conversation.I was looking on their website to see where I can call or email them directly to file a complaint, but it only showed to purchase the Groupon even though I search for airport parking Laurel is Unavailable. I doubt it something must be wrong anyway I need to talk to someone about this lot. Hopefully someone will pay attention for this review.I used this parking space before it was a nice driver,That’s why I came back, but today is really bad. I say have a good day to the driver and he does not really bother to response. I think I need to find another parking space when I comes back to San Diego

Under new ownership as of a week and would not honor our already purchased Groupon. They no longer use the large transit can but someone’s personal SUV which smelled horrible and cigarette smoke. Elevators are out as well and was told they don’t know when they will be fixed. I use to come here all the time as I travel often for long durations but no more for me.

I love using this parking spot everytime I fly out of San Diego. The structure is secure and there is always a shuttle ready to take you to the airport.

Warning ⚠️ you think you’re getting a deal but you’re not. I purchased Laurel parking on Groupon for 4 days. But there’s a catch to it. I left out paying more money. They go by the time you dropped your car off to them and not the days you purchased. They also charge you the full price for the extra hours you so called went over. They don’t display this information on Groupon or their actual website.
They over booked so I had to leave my key in case someone left. I booked them 2 weeks ago. Unacceptable especially when you have a flight 2 catch.
Its my go-to place for parking while traveling.
They have ongoing issues with teens going up on the roof handling things on fire, the employees do make an attempt to remove them.
Shuttles are not every 15 minutes
Everyone complaining about being denied access to the building to watch planes needs to realize this isnt a plane watching business it is a airport parking structure. There is clearly signs that say no sightseeing no photography or trespassing. Giving a business a bad rating because you got your privilege card denied is immature. And it is a security issue when you have peoples cars and valuables at risk. And if you do gain access by lying and you get charged dont complain about it, nothing is free in this world.
Easy in and easy out. $12 for 1 day parking. But it goes up quite a bit after that. No access to bathrooms for customers. Quite a walk from trolley line. Id visit again but there are likely better options for stays over 1 day.
A regular reliable go to for parking. Especially with their great Groupon offers!Warning: The shuttle is slower compared to the the others, so please make sure you give yourself some extra time to get to your flight, and be patient when you arrive back and need to be picked up to get to your car.

Beware!Typical bait and switch. We asked the attendant for the 11.99 per day parking, he handed us a ticket and told us to park anywhere above the second floor. When we were leaving they charged us the higher rate and said we did not park on the roof, after we specifically said we wanted the 11.99 rate.Several other people have complained about this.We didn’t mind the building elevator smelled like a urinal, the worst part was having to waiting over 45 minutes to be picked up airport. We ended up taking an Uber back to the parking garage .Laurel Street parking, stop having your employees lie to customers.

We have been parking at Laurel St for years when we travel. We have parked with them for the last time. The way we were treated as customers was awful. We purchased a groupon to park and informed the attendant that we had one and then proceeded to park. Upon our exist we find out we werent given the appropriate ticket and there isnt anything he can do. We questioned this practice as we didnt realize we didnt do it right and asked for him to honor the groupon. He refused and refused to utilize any other discounts. He refused to direct us to any other employees to help us out with the misunderstanding. He called us awful and said it wasnt his fault we couldnt pay our bill, loud enough for others to hear. I called him a horrible human being
Never again will I use this parking garage.As an airline employee and local resident who sometimes commutes, I need airport parking. They do offer an employee rate but its not enough off anymore to justify the extra small spaces (two of my cars have had serious door dings) nor the shuttle that takes over 1/2 an hour to show.I took the FOURTH Aladdin shuttle again today after waiting 31 minutes for a shuttle that was promised soon.Never again.

Can’t take my children up to watch planes land, but for $12 I could park my van on the top level. Security at it best!! Sorry daughter, I know you love airplanes, but your dolly is a security threat. Awesome!
Parking here was a great comfort for me. I felt safe and it was very convenient to access. I couldnt be more pleased.
I left my car parked for five days. When I returned my passenger side mirror was busted. And my passenger Side tires front and rear were flat. I really didn’t expect them to fix my car. I at least expected them to give me a break on parking. They did not help me out whatsoever nor did they care what happened. I always take pictures on my car before and after at these places. I showed management the pictures. Didn’t make a difference in their mind.
Not sure about parking here and going to the airport, but this is the prime place to watch airplanes land. The last two times we didnt get charged. I think you have to maintain that youre going to the airport.
We’re huge plane enthusiasts and we kindly walked up and asked if we could go to the top and look at the airport. The guy was super nice and said if we brought our car he would let us in. A**hole failed to share that despite being there for 30 minutes we would still get charged the full $12. I get he still gave us the ticket to enter but come on, at least tell us up front that we would get ripped off. Shady people.

If you have a Groupon and try to use it to pay your total days they claim you can’t use the Groupon because they “just change the rules” They should tell that when the customer enters! By far my worst experience traveling. I used them for the 1st time and this will be the last. Myself and 6 other passengers waited at courtesy pick up for over 45 minutes, they never came, we called 3 times, they said they were busy. Unacceptable, other garages passed us multiple times. At one point we got on another shuttle and walked to garage from that site. It basically took us longer to get to our car from the airport than the flight from San Francisco. Once we got there, the elevator didnt work and now we carried all our bag up to floor 5. We had 2 large bags each. POOR POOR service. I guess you get what you pay for and even that was overpriced for this pathetic garage. Ill use Aladdin from here out. Never again Laurel Street rip off..

Great place to park, i showd up a 3 a.m. place was closed and as son as a honkd my horn Someone opend the gate and in 5 min a bus showd up to take me to the airport, ADVICE buy your tickets through Groupon.

As far as parking garages go near the San Diego Airport, the Laurel Street Airport parking facility is better than some and worse than others. The Laurel Airport parking usually runs Groupons, so it is often possible to get a discounted rate. However, I found on my last trip that the garage was full and I had to go someplace else. Kind of annoying given that the Groupon had an expiration date. The parking spaces are very small, and unlike some of the other facilities where they will pick you up at your car, here you are required to go to the ground floor to pick up the shuttle
Be aware. We were over our pre-paid three days by half an hour and were charged for another whole day ($16). Weve parked with several other companies and all of those have an hour grace period. The attendant said he wouldnt have charged us if hed seen the amount of time before he had input the time stamp card, but it was too late. Terrific experience up to when we left.

Watch out driving in, their shuttles use the entrance as an exit! If you bought a Groupon and dont have it scanned as you go in, they will absolutely refuse to honor it. Staff were surly. Spaces are extremely narrow. The elevator stank when we arrived and was stuck on the sixth floor when we returned. They may claim to run shuttles every 10 minutes, but somehow it took 35 minutes between us calling for the shuttle and exiting the garage. There are so many easy things they could do to make it a better experience, but they really dont seem to care.

They don’t accept Groupon. Had to pay full price. Ripoff for an ugly parking lot. There are much better places for same price.
When we arrived we asked where to park for $11.99 a night the attendant said anywhere after the 2nd floor however that was not the case, when we advised the attendant at time of leave that she was charging us to much we informed her what was instructed to us she got a real bad attitude and said there was nothing she could do and that it was not her problem. I do not recommend this place for anyone who does not like to be ripped off.
I purchased a Groupon coupon to park here and felt assured that getting to the parking structure before 7:00 a.m. would assure me a parking spot. I think so many people purchased the Groupon that they were completely inundated! Rude service because I had a Groupon coupon! Never again.

Opposite Of helpful. Been parking here for convenience many times. This trip, My battery died. They told me they could jump me when a driver returned. 45 minutes later only after I repeatedly asked they said they could not help. What a waste. So many excuses to not be helpful. No charger, no cables, no car, no keys, no one available. If they just told me from the begining, I would have just called my office. :(
