In Your Home Inc., Heating and Air exhibited excellent customer rapport. The owner, himself responded to our web-reservation, arriving earlier than anticipated (how often does that happen!) He was attentive to my requests and descriptions; very knowledgeable. He worked through all alternatives and potential pitfalls with our air condition repair; very honest and forthright. Turned out needed a new capacitor but no refrigerant recharge. This fellow was knowledgeable and enjoyed his work. The cost was a little more than expected but how do you put a price on a job so well done . Would recommend for peace of mind. Mark F.
Bloggie is the absolute best. I see why he has nothing but 5 star reviews. He installed two vents for us. One in the bathroom and a second one in our flaming hot bedroom! He explained exactly what he was going to do before he started, then he showed me how I can adjust the air flow between vents if I needed more cool air in a certain room. He was early, wore booties and was masked up. He was a pleasure to have in our home and has a fantastic personality! We were laughing a ton with him. We will certainly use him again for our future HVAC needs!
Our air conditioner stopped blowing cold air approximately a week ago. I tried changing the filter as a remedy, but this did not fix it. The weather was not so hot, so I didnt rush. However, Monday was going to be hot, so I submitted requests late Sunday evening. Naturally, though it was my fault, but I didnt want to pay an exorbitant emergency fee. Several companies responded, but this company responded first. I felt like it was a human response, and not automated. The issue I had was that I had never heard of this company before, so I took to Google Maps to read reviews. There were only a handful of reviews, but they were all very positive. It was hard to tell if they were real experiences or not, but I decided to accept them and try this company out. I was glad I did, because the reviews were 100% correct! My appointment was for 4-6 pm, but Stanley called me and told me he could be here at 3:10 if that was ok? I said sure, and he arrived at exactly 3:10 pm. He asked me to turn the AC on to 67 degrees and we went outside to the compressor. As he began working on it, he answered all my questions and explained every step. He immediately found the problem to be the capacitor and let me know that this could just be the first problem. He removed the capacitor and explained how the readings should be as reported by the label, versus the reading on his meter. He also let me know that anybody can get a cheap capacitor at Home Depot and do it themselves, no problem, but it probably wouldnt last. He also let me know about a hard start kit. He didnt push me into anything at all, no hard upsell. I did some Googling and completely decided on my own to have it installed. He clearly explained the pricing as well, up front. Then he told me the numbers we should expect with my older 3 ton unit versus the numbers we were seeing. He also said I should do what I can to stick with my older unit because they dont engineer them to last anymore. He also estimated that I was down half a pound of freon and let me decide if I wanted to have him add it or wait until the beginning of the hot season next year. I decided to have him do it since he was already out. He added the freon, measured the pressure and now we were in the expected numbers! Everything is working great nite, plus we have a warranty for their repairs. Three years for parts and 4 years for labor. What a great deal. The greatness of this company is not over yet though! Each time Stanley entered my house he put disposable booties on his shoes, but he kept good care of the booties, immediately removing them from my door mat so they would last. Then he prepared the proposal, sent it to my email, and it had a link I could click on, complete with photos and clear pricing, just like he had explained, with the warranty spelled out. He had a very nice portable card reader that allowed me to use the debit function of my card and enter my pin. Then, what happened next shocked me. I removed my card, and he pulled out hand sanitizer from his pocket to sanitize my hands after holding the card reader. Wow, this company is doing everything RIGHT. Not only will I hire them again, but Ill also recommended them to all my friends, family, and the community! I forgot to mention that Stanley also wore his mask correctly the entire time. Not once did I even see his nose or face! If youre not sure who to go with, take it from me, this company is the best. I wish all companies I dealt with were like this one! One just thing to add, theyve designed their system to be completely paperless. A definite plus for the environment!
I had In Your Home Inc. come to my house and quote for installing AC. Although I have yet to move ahead with this project the guys went above and beyond in inspecting and informing me about the deficiencies of my ducting system and giving me a detailed quote. I may yet move ahead with the project but am holding off for now pending a decision on other changes to the house. If I do go ahead there is a high likelihood that I will use In Your Home Inc.
I called because my home heater needed repair. Stan was so helpful! He came the same day that I sent a YELP request. He had to order a part that was originally supposed to take a few days. He did research and found it the next day! The entire thing was completed in less than 24 hours! Stan was friendly, professional and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend this company and already have an appt on the books for A/C maintenance in two months.
Absolutely perfect service from Stanley. He called and texted ahead of time to let me know when he would arrive, which was within ten minutes of the start of the two hour interval I booked for service. He made it exactly when he said he would. He had masks and gloves on when we arrived and put sleeves over his shoes upon entry (and took them off/put them back on each time he went out and in). He diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave me worst and best fixes we could try. Opting for a more expensive option (which he didnt pressure me into, actually he seemed more interested in trying the cheaper way), he got to it right away, and it did end up solving my AC issue. Maybe the best part though was he gave me names of parts and explanations of what they do and why, and he kept showing me testing results not just before service but during repairs to show the progress. I particularly liked the invoice that shows pictures of the parts installed and test results before and after repair so I have it for reference. Great price, great service, highly recommend this company.

These guys are outstanding. Totally professional. Scheduling was easy. They showed up my condo to do a heater and ac inspection. We’ve been running the ac hard over the summer and we wanted to make sure the heater was ready for the winter. But these guys showed up with masks and shoe coverings. It’s nice to know they take safety seriously. Great customer service from beginning to end of the inspection. What really stood out was the time they took to explain a repair my heater needed. They were very well spoken, transparent, presented options and gave us their recommendations. They really went out of their way to make sure we completely understood the problem and the possible fixes. I personally don’t skimp on parts and repairs for my appliances so I found their costs for original parts and labor reasonable. Highly recommend these guys!
We are very pleased with this service! Our heater stopped working out of a sudden. My husband is pretty handy and just couldnt fix it. I found In Your Home Inc on yelp and they quickly responded. He called me first to ask a few questions about our issue before he came. He sent an email to confirm time. The next day I received a text with his ETA He arrived on time and he had uniform with mask and shoe slippers. He was so efficient too. In less than an hour, he had diagnosed the problem, sent an email with new quote and repaired it! Our heater is up and running. The price was very reasonable with many discounts! We recommend and will definitely call again if needed.
I own a small house whose A/C unit suddenly decided to quit working. After going through Google I narrowed down my list of possible repair people to a handful. All the more well-known companies said they were booked for several weeks! That simply wouldnt cut it! From their Google page, I knew In Your Home Inc. was a smaller company and just getting started in the business. Only a few reviews, but ALL praised their workmanship, honesty, and pricing.Its always a little scary when youre trying out a smaller or newer company. But am I glad I did! They were able to come out FAR earlier than anyone else I had contacted. Once here, they diagnosed the problem quickly, told me exactly what it would take to repair, and quoted me a very fair price. Once I gave them the go ahead to make the repair it was done quickly and efficiently!While they are newer/smaller than other companies, I will definitely be recommending them to others and will happily use them for any other future A/C needs!Oh...and in this Covid era, it should also be noted that proper precautions (mask, social distancing, etc.) were followed!

Stanley, one of the owners, came out. Very good communication through the initial inquiry and until he arrived. Stanley is very friendly and very easy to converse with. Some service providers can be a bit condescending, abrupt, and down right rude. Stanley was the polar opposite. Professional, cheery, polite, and great to have in my house and do a complete HVAC service. He was very thorough and did a great job. It is obvious that he cares about his business and his customers. He went above and beyond to make sure that I received excellent service, and that I was completely satisfied. I wont hire anyone else to take care of my HVAC needs again, found my guy. Thanks again!

I was able to get the appointment quickly and the initial inspection price was very reasonable (which was waived after the repair).Bloggie was very honest and explained every step of his inspection and let me know what he is looking for and what he found with his inspection. He was able to fix my 20 year old A/C unit very quickly and gave the advice how to maintain the unit better (as the Freon gas leaked, he advised me to tighten the bolt whenever I get a chance). I definitely recommend In Your Home as they run their business honest and make your experience very pleasant and fast.

Bloggie and his crew can in during a recent heat wave when our AC failed. We were under isolation because elf cold symptoms and awaiting Covid-19 test results. He held a spot for us so that when our results came back (negative!), he immediately dropped in and spent hours fixing our older AC system. He got it up and running again against all odds. Another contractor had told us a few years ago the system was done for. It still might need replacing soon, but he has kept it going for awhile longer! Better in checkbook and better for the environment!

I think I found my new BFF in the technician that fixed our heat pump. Bloggie came out and he did not once try and hype me up to replace a 25-year-old system. He fixed my botched attempt at installing a thermostat and explained the process every step.
