I have been using Ideal exclusively for my heating, A/C, plumbing and AC/heating preventive maintenance for at least 15 years. Its a family owned business, which I really like. They are extremely professional, always on time and responsive to emergencies. All their people are employees; no contract workers. I have never had to call back for a re-do. And they have been extremely cautious during COVID. I recommend them highly.

Ideal replaced a hot water heater for us; the work was of excellent quality, the technicians were polite and on time. Great experience!

Had a slab leak, called Ideal at 9am and someone was at my house by 10:30. We had already had no water for 2 days waiting for another plumber to come. The leak was fixed without the need to jack hammer a hole in the slab and the repair was done quickly and looks nice. I also had the guys that were working on my issue put in a new house shut off valve, hose bib, and also add another 3/4 shut off valve for potential future uses. Will definitely use Ideal in the future if the need arises!

Ideal Plumbing recently replaced our obsolete and leaking water main. They initially set up temporary service to our house so we would not be without water. While they where replacing the main supply line. The workers were very neat and did not butcher the lawn even though they had to dig right through the middle of it. Its nice not having to clean up after a contractor. 5 stars to Joe V for his communication throughout the whole process.

Ideal replaced the fan motor on our AC unit. Seems basic until you realize our AC is 34 years old. As a bonus they did it at less than half the original estimate when other estimates were 20 times higher.

I have dealt with Ideal for years because they do 1st Class Work and-most important- are totally trustworthy. Our heating system was old, inefficient, and in very bad shape. Ideal proposed a new heat pump and also found many problems in the existing system. They provided a thorough estimate, could answer all my questions, and showed how we could save money with their proposal. The workers all showed up on time, finished on time, and there were no extra charges. The system works well, as planned. I have been burned by HVAC companies in the past. The reason is simple. They do a good part of the job in your attic or roof and you cannot assess what they are actually doing. You have to trust the company. Ideal operates at very high ethical standards. If they might charge a little more, it is well worth it. If you go with a less trustworthy company, you may need to get the job done twice (due to errors) and pay a lot more.

Ideal Plumbing came out to fix a toilet that was not installed properly by a different company. The plumber was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and completed the work in an appropriate amount of time. He had to uninstall the toilet, repair the supply line and valve, reinstall the toilet properly, check everything, and clean up. Couldnt ask for a more professional job. Will definitely call Ideal Plumbing when I need more work done first.

Water heater in the garage was leaking. I knew it had to be replaced it was an old unit. Ideal was able to come out within a couple of hours and replace the unit with what I chose. I was very grateful to have the work done within hours of finding the leak. Abe was the technician, he was on time actually early. He was professional and knowledgeable. I asked him many questions he answered all of them. Ricci, who took my call, was very helpful explaining the process and costs so there were no surprises. When a plumbing emergency occurs, like the under slab hot water leak we just experienced, the last thing you want to do is lose time by inviting in several companies to get a reasonable estimate. Because I’ve used Ideal Plumbing on several previous projects I have complete trust in their integrity (fairness), their fast response, and communication. It took one call to them to say “Come fix it” to get the pipe rerouting project started. In two days it was done and we had hot water again. The cost was fair, as I had anticipated. The workers Joel and Hunter pleasant and talented, and they left the project site cleaner than when they arrived. If you need a fast response, a take change approach, and a worry free feeling about project cost, you won’t find better than Ideal Plumbing.

We were very fortunate to have Rene from Ideal perform the work we needed to the shut off valves and to install our new washer and dryer. Rene was friendly, professional and took great care with our new appliances. He had all the parts required on hand and worked efficiently with a cheerful attitude. In addition to installing a brand new York 3 ton air conditioning and gas furnace, Ideals installation crew had to remove the 45 year old systems and a lot of flexible duct in a tight attic. They did an amazing job start to finish. They showed up on time each day, and put runners down to keep rugs and floors clean in the house. They were quiet, respectful, and knew exactly what to do with almost no direction from the homeowner ( me). Part of the smoothness of the execution was due to the fact that the manager spent significant time studying the project prior to developing the quotation. Secondly, he came back and spent a significant amount of time with the field supervisor a few days prior to installation to develop a plan of attack including the major work phases, the order of execution, and time estimates for all tasks. It was a truly complex project beginning with the removal of the existing system followed by the installation of a complete new furnace / A/C system, new controls, new, and much larger condenser, new and much larger flexible ducts in the attic space, and all of the electrical and fluid circuits involved. Although Ideal fields a team that has done this type of work many times before, they do not skimp on the pre installation planning which makes the execution much more efficient. On top of that, they exhibited deep on the fly craftsmanship when changing the routing to the new, much larger 18 flex ducts in a very limited attic space, as well as connecting them to registers in 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a hallway. This included sealing all the connections to assure conditioned air is contained under pressure and insulated all the way from the air handler to the registers ...no leaks! The 4th day in the afternoon, right on schedule, they were testing the system operating performance, setting up the smart thermostat, replacing the attic access door, cleaning up and taking care of the many finishing details. Super craftsmanship, very quiet execution, no drama, no negative surprises, friendly respectful employees, all at a fair price with no overruns. 10 out of 10!!

Ideal is the best. In 2008 they installed my air conditioning system. Every 6 months or so I have them do a routine check on the heater and the air conditioning unit. They are very thorough, all the technicians are fabulous. Ideal routinely services and maintain my moms A/c / heater unit as well.

My husband and I are an elderly couple and our air conditioner broke during the latest heat wave. I called Ideal because they had installed the unit many years ago. I was at first told that due to the heat, we could not be scheduled for a service call for a week but was offered the chance to move up if a cancelation occurred. The next day I got a call offering an appointment for the following day, which I happily accepted. Rene was the service tech that arrived. He was WONDERFUL! He spent about 30 minutes checking and explaining to us what he found and attempting to fix the problem. Unfortunately, he was unable to repair the unit and we need a replacement but it was not for lack of trying on Renes part. Kudos to his hard work. Its cooler now while we wait for our new air conditioner installation, but Ideal has gone above and beyond during this difficult time.

These folks have fully replaced our entire central air system and water heater. We continue to have them maintain it all. Excellent work, wonderful people and they even remind me when maintenance is due!

Had a leak in my water line from the street to my house. On a Saturday morning! I dug up the line and found the leak, not thinking that I could get someone to repair it until the following week. Wonderful experience. I like that they do follow code so that you wont have problems later from the city. They do quality work and deal with all the paperwork dealing with codes, asbestos and rebates. The workers are very friendly, personable and will explain things. They clean up after themselves and dont leave things lying around which is wonderful for my mother who is limited in mobility. Very respectful of her needs. The office staff and scheduling department are very friendly as well. They keep communication open if there is a change. I will be using them again and have been doing so for years both in AC/H and in plumbing.

Hunter, the service expert, quickly identified and fixed a gas leak. Service was very prompt and friendly. Not inexpensive, but I do not take chances with gas.

Last night our heater died, and this morning, also cold, we were anxious to get it fixed. By good luck we were referred to Ideal Plumbing, a company which serviced our brand of gas-fired heater. A competent technician, Jose Gomez, arrived at our door in less than an hour. He was quick, thorough, and cheerful as he went through his analysis and repairs. And the cost of the labor and materials was reasonable. We couldn’t be more pleased.

I had an appointment for a 1-3pm visit, they called at 12:45pm and were there by 1pm. They did good, clean work. They explained everything really well and werent pushy when I said Id wait to have certain things fixed. Howard was our service guy and he was great!

I’m extremely pleased with the service that I’ve received from the technicians at Ideal. Phil Beaver was very knowledgeable about the heater/blower settings on my unit. I explained what was happening when the unit engaged and how I had both hot and cold spots in the house. The air didn’t seem to be mixing like it should. I called this morning at 8am and was given an appointment the same day. I got a call a while later that there was a cancellation and someone could come even earlier than originally scheduled, which was great.Howard showed up and was awesome! He was able to locate the leak in the attic and fix it in no time. He then replaced our pressure regulator in the garage because it was bad and had been for a while (likely contributing to the leak). It wasnt the easiest job because of how the regulator was installed into the wall. But, he made it look easy and didn’t mind me hovering and asking questions.He was done with everything in just over an hour. The price for everything was more than fair. I am so happy to have this leak behind us so quickly and feel great about that work that was done.I would definitely recommend Ideal for anyone in need of their services.

I served over 38 years in the Navy and so I have lived in places all over the world. In each of these locations, when I lived in civilian housing, I have used a number of plumbing and heating companies. Ideal Plumbing, Heating, Air and Electrical is, without a doubt, the best of any of these companies. Their services are reasonably priced, they are responsive to my requests, and their technicians are always courteous, on time, competent and complete all services in a timely, professional manner. I would not use anyone else.

Phil and Rene from Ideal worked 4.5 days to install a complete HVAC system after the failure of my 13-year-old A/C unit. I went with the company due to three highly trusted recommendations. The work was quite costly, but it was very complex, involving the replacement of the A/C unit, the furnace located in the attic, and very old attic ducts. Plumbing and electrical work were needed, as was old duct removal by an asbestos abatement company. Everything was done strictly to current code, and the technicians were knowledgable, skillful and pleasant. Phil took time to fully explain the new thermostat interface and many other aspects of the job. Ideals work is guaranteed; if I have any questions or issues, they will return to make things right. Work was completed today; so far Im very satisfied.

We had a sewage clog in the main 3” line on a Saturday afternoon. We were desperate. Called Ideal Plumbing and In less than an hour an Ideal technitian, Jose, arrived, went to work, and solved the problem. He was a polite young man who displayed pride in the quality of his work. He told us the cause of the problem, cleaned the area, and left it in better shape than he found it.

Joe, the General Manager called right away, scheduled electricians to come to our facility, and today sent two very professional electrical technicians, who completed the work we needed. We are - ONCE AGAIN - a very happy customer of Ideal Plumbing, Heating, Air & Electrical! This story has a very happy ending!

I am raising my review from one star to three. The unit leaked water into my ceiling due to what I have been told was insulation in part of the system as well as the drainage/catch pan not being installed properly. They did in fact come out, correct the issue, repair the damage caused by it, and test for mold to ensure the home was safe for myself and my kids. It was more stress than I like but I can respect that they took responsibility and fixed it.

Lars, the hvac tech did an outstanding job getting my wall heater back in proper operation again.I’ll use this company again for any future service.

Ideal Plumbing Heating completed a major installation of a replacement heater and new air conditioner in our house (approx. 2500 sq. ft.) in March, 2016. Everyone involved was very professional and knowledgeable. Even cleaned up everyday. Highly recommend.

Good service but high price.

I have received above high expectations of air services performed by Phil at Ideal plumbing heating electric and air. As well as to the whole crew at Ideal, who have a genuine authentic family business, to which had made me feel a part of. The air quality of my condominium unit has been unbearable, due to tobacco smoke from downstairs neighbor and I need to use my air conditioner for the heating summer months. I was in a sort of pit to thinking that my moving back after 4 years of being gone were going to be stressful and unlivable to, because of the smoking nuisance from the neighbors. I was desperate for any solution. I had walked into and very welcoming Ideal off Waring Rd. to talk about my issues, I talked with Dan of my situation and I felt a huge weight lifting off my shoulder because of the possible solutions I was given. I had told about an air scrubber that white glove guys reccomend with a cost, I passed information to Ideal team and they looked into the research and found a better quality based on reviews of a life saving air scrubber that I have to say was the best investment I could have done. My quality of air improved dramatically upon the first use. The price difference was that Ideal did save me $ compared to the white glove guys . With Ideals honest business management and standards, I look forward to continue this family business relationship to further assist with all my in home needs to plumbing, electric, and air.

We have used Ideal for over 20 years for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. They are professional and extremely responsive to our needs. They do quality work and stand behind it. They recently replaced our ancient HVAC system with a modern high efficiency model. They made sure we received the maximum rebates possible. They spent a lot of time tweaking it to make sure it met our expectations. Our home is much more comfortable than it was before and our energy use has fallen dramatically.

My Technian arrived on time, and introduced himself as Aaron. I explained my problem, Aaron asked some questions, and looked over my system. He then explained what the issue was and what was needed to repair it. He then explained how my poorly functioning water softener was impacting the pipes in my home. He gave me a lot of information to help me make some decisions on what to do. Over all, I was very pleased with his service!

They are not taking new clients dont bother calling them. They are busy during a heatwave which i understand, but was fine with a appointment a couple weeks from now.She mentioned that her phone was ringing off the hook and cant help me out. So your gonna hang up on me to tell the same thing to the next client... idiots are not ideal....

After reading my post Joe, the General Manager contacted me and handled my incident Politely and Professionally. I was very impressed that they took the time call me. In the future, I will be using Ideal Plumbing and would recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

Everything was IDEAL! Many kudos to Sheryl in the office for fast and efficient scheduling, as well as Matthew the technician for being polite courteous and efficient in repairing my neighbors and my air-conditioning systems from mouse damage.

We couldnt have been more satisfied with the service, consideration and politeness of the men who assessed our problem and then resolved it very quickly.Our air conditioning unit had to be replaced and this occurred during one of our worst heat spells.In addition, I have allergy issues, and without this unit having been promptly replaced, I would have had breathing difficulties.I would recommend Ideal Plumbing without hesitation and give them five stars.They are indeed IDEAL!

Pete Gonzales, who specializes in plumbing, helped install a protective cage for the backflow preventer in front of the property Im helping out with. Pete did excellent work.
