I called H&R Block to get an estimate to prepare my taxes and they told me I needed to come into the office to see what forms are required. I went into the office and met with a tax preparer and he looked at all my documents and told me he could not give me a price until he was done and that it could be as much as $300.00 for my simple tax return. I am done playing games with how they overcharge for tax preparation.

Had my appointment on Saturday morning 9am, Some places ive had appointments on Saturday im always waiting for them to show but not here. Horrible! good luck finding someone that speaks good english there..after they did my taxes, I suspected it wasnt done properly, so sure enough, I took it to another CPA firm and they were able to save me another 4K on my return..stay away form this place-sub quality work here.
