Best rental boards! I rented a southbay Foam top 9 foot that surfed well and felt brand new! High quality and huge range of sizes!

I rented 10+ boards, beach chairs, a couple umbrellas, and a few coolers. Working with John and the team felt more like borrowing gear from family than just renting boards. They were flexible with our schedule and even dropped off all the gear right at the beach. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I love the shop! I come to San Clemente to surf about six or seven times a year and they always have a great selection of boards. much cheaper to rent from them than carrying your own boards on a plane.

Surfboard Rentals San Clemente totally took care of me during my stay in this surfers paradise. I called them and spoke with John.We discussed the breaks I was going to try, and my thoughts regarding board specifications.He suggested a couple models and shared some valuable advice from an experienced local. John delivered the board to my hotel promptly.And then picked it up on my departure day. The board was a great fit for the conditions at the breaks I visited. I had an amazing experience with them! Super easy to rent from and it all went super quickly. They had reasonable rates compared to other places I looked, and had amazing customer service. I was going to have trouble dropping the board back off during store hours, so one of the guys there offered to pick it up from me and just swung by on his bike the next morning and grabbed it!

The guys at Surfboard Rentals San Clemente, or Usedsurf, were very kind and very helpful! We walked in while it was very busy but they were able to help us quickly and get boards and wetsuits that suited all seven of us very well. They also gave us very helpful tips of what beaches to go to for beginners and made our experience that much more enjoyable. The prices were also great compared to other shops in the area. If me or my friends are ever in the area again we will be returning!

We hadn’t thought to get wetsuits for our two teenage sons on our trip to the San Onofre Campground. They really wanted to surf. We had the truck packed to the gills and couldn’t figure out how to make it work. We found the delivery option on the website and called them up on the way down. John was a great help. He said, “oh you’re at the campsite? Text me your site number and I’ll bring the equipment by.” I wasn’t sure of the sizes, and he said “text me their height and weight and I’ll get you the right sizes” we arranged a time and he showed up with the right stuff and a surfboard. (No way we could have gotten that ourselves!)After he left, my wife asked how we were going to get it back to him. Uh oh! I’d completely forgotten that we couldn’t transport a surfboard! Duh! So I texted John. He replied, “no problem. I’ll come pick it up”Wow. What a great service! What a great idea. What a great company. So convenient. Thanks, John. You really made our epic road trip super special.

Had some friends visit and renting boards was super easy. They had a wide selection of rental boards to choose from. My friends were beginners and they had soft tops which worked out perfect. Pleasant & smooth experience, would definitely recommend.

Visited from Australia and walked from our Air bnb and the guys were brilliant. Quality boards and wetty and gave us a lift home. They even picked up our boards straight after a surf on the day shop was closed. I left my wedding ring attached to wetty and got it returned ASAP. Thank you guys ..your all bloody legends!
