About 3 years ago, i had my first e-bike experience at this shop. I knew at that time, I wanted one for myself. Pete was so helpful in telling me what to look out for and what i needed to know.As soon as I got back home to Nebraska, I found a shop that built me a great e-bike. Ive now owned it for close to 2 years.I stopped back into his shop last month. Still he was very helpful.They have a great selection of cycles and, hey, its San Clemente. What could be nicer than being on, or near the beach of southern Cal, riding a bike.Happy customer

Rented a tandem 1hr/$16 or 2hr/$25 nice 5 speed beach cruiser. Friendly, helpful, efficient employees. Parked in pay-lot $1.15 per hr. Put 12 miles on the bike before we turned it in.

Great spot to have a bike shop... you can go north to Dana Point or south down to the pier. We had a great trip with our kids.

My wife and I rented one of the tandem bikes. Being newbies to the tandem world, we were somewhat apprehensive. Yet the staff made this a pleasant experience in spite of us getting a flat tire during the ride. The manager even offered us a free credit of time for the period we werent riding due to the repair. That is customer service with care.

Very friendly and helpful. Reasonable rates. Huge selection on bikes to rent. Rented a tandem bike and even given instructions on how to ride for our first adventure. Definitely would go back.

This place is amazing! Pete tuned-up my bike so it was working far better than when it was brand new! He is the bike whisperer....seems to know eveything about bikes and his prices are very reasonable.

Just had my bike stolen from me, so i bought an inexpensive beach crusier to get me by until I save enough $$ for an electric bike. Well, I was on my first ride from Crystal lantern dana point area to San Clement, and was experiencing problems with the barings when I pedal. So We stopped into the Urban bike shop and had a pleasant ecpeience; it was an especially nice surprise to see Petes baby boy yorkie waiting eagerly to greet us! Our Yorkies are now friends, he fixed the bike problems i had and won me as a repeat customer! Thanks Pete! Clean bathrooms, nice little coffee bar, cold drinks, large selection of bike accessories, lots bikes to choose from to buy or rent! I found my future electric bike!! Thank Pete for taking time to help me!

We rented a nice beach cruiser that was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and Pete was very helpful and attentive to our needs.
