Always stressful working with a new mechanic. Hard to know what you will get. Eric was easy to work with, communicative and really helped us out. He went above and beyond and even when he had several opportunities to create more work or charge more, he kept finding the best way to get the job done and take care of us. Thank you Eric!

Started going to Eric several years ago when he was small! He did good work expediently! He has since closed and opened in 2 different locations and can’t keep staff! His comments are they don’t know whatthey are doing, and now I wonder if he does either?!My daughter drives a Mini Cooper that just went dead last week. We figured it was the battery so my husband got a replacement and installed it. Unbeknownst to us, when a battery is replaced apparently the internal computer has to be reset too! The tow truck driver mentioned this to my husband, who was going to have it towed to the dealership, as Eric didn’t have the equipment to do this. He called Eric to let him know, who raged against to tow truck driver, saying he had no idea about what he was talking about so we went ahead and took it to OC German. Well, we are now a 11/2 working days in and when we questioned the ETA of the repair, Eric railed on my husband saying he didn’t need this kind of stress. So we have now arranged to have the car towed to the dealership to relieve Eric of his stress!Not only have we been loyal customers, we have sent him additional business and given out great recommendations! There is an edge of anger and pompousness that rear their ugly head when Eric is challenge or even just questioned! Looks like we will be taking our business back to the dealership, as their pricing is not that much more, have the staff and the equipment to handle the repair and we are at least treated with respect!*Eric- you would earn a lot more respect if you would stop dissing others in the industry ( the tow truck driver) and admit when you are in over your head!

Incompetent, arrogant and disrespectful. Im glad I got my car out of there before he touched it. Eric is not a master mechanic he couldnt even start my car. He had bad report and customer service. I expected a call in the morning, and never received it. I visited his garage around noon, and found that he never got the car to start. On top of that he wasnt confident in fixing the problem I had. When I told him I was going to take my car to a different shop. He muttered go F yourself as I walked out the door.

These guys are great to work with! They constantly kept me up to date on my car while it was in the shop and were very detailed on the inspection for my car! Will definitely be taking my car back here for any work my car may ever need done or even regular maintenance! Thank you so much OC German, you gentlemen did a great job!

Another amazing flawless job done by Eric over here at OC German Car. Just like the other reviewers, I also am very particular with my choice of Mechanics. After my first run through of the vehicle with Eric, I knew he is a master of BMWs. After my 2nd repair with him last week, my 2005 X5 has been running smooth.His honestly, service and knowledge is impeccable. I can leave my X with him the whole day without any worries or wonder, just excited to get the X back to experience a whole new ride.Thanks Eric and the team for another job well done. This shop does really good work. I took my R230 into the shop because it was having some ABC related problems. Eric was able to diagnose and fix the problem. He went above and beyond by rebuilding my valve blocks instead of trying to up-sell me brand new ones. The car came out of the shop in much better shape than it went in, and I could not be happier with the outcome. Eric, the shop owner is very friendly and transparent when it comes to these types of cars and the repairs they may or may not need. I will be coming back to this shop the next time I have any problems.

This guy is crazy lol. I feel like Im a pretty level headed, common sense guy. Hes the type that tells you what he is going to fix and if you dont agree hell, get pissed and to you to f off. Ha. I never write reviews because I dont have time and dont like ruining a reputation because everyone has a bad day but I can honestly tell this guy is off his rails. I went to another shop in town and they all said the same thing.

Eric did a great job on BMW 740iL! Had him change the trans fluid, gasket and filter, and generally check out my vehicle underneath. Dude knows BMWs for sure. He had me in and out in a couple hours, and changing the ATF and filter on an older Bimmer is not an easy deal..... He is fantastic! Highly recommend this shop. I will definitely be going back for more work on the 01 740.

Highly recommended! These days its tough to find a good mechanic, Ive actually been to this place more than once, even back to when it was located in Mission Viejo. Great customer service and awesome job on my vehicle as well. Every time this place has worked on any area of my vehicle, I dont see any issues ever re-arising. If your in this area I strongly recommend this place.

Jury is still out on my first time trying this shop. So far, friendly but suspect workmanship. Red flags everywhere on the competence and knowledge of my BMW. Ill explain more after they try again to fix my coolant system (3rd time). 1600.00 cash paid out so far for what was suppose to be a repair for a oil leak,, turned coolant problem.Will keep you posted on the experience.Steve b.San Clemente local.

He is very bad guy ! Liar and thief ! More than year own me $4000 +car ! He take my Audi S 8 for repair + $4000 deposit and I never see my car and money again ! 2 times he attack me, when I try talk to him ! Aggressive crazy person ! My lawyer waiting for court opening !!

Tried to explain issues that already fixed. Had to re so his work. In the midst of all this the mechanical started swearing and nearly getting physical because he wanted me to set another appointment for minor work that he failed at the first time. Highly recommend to stay clear from this one. After going to a 2nd even 3rd shop the auto service and customer service was day and night.

Eric knows german cars. Trustworthy mechanic, and awesome service. He was my go to for both performance and general maintenance. I got my intercooler, timing service, clutch replacement, coilovers, and control arms installed all without an issue.

Eric was very disrespectful and rude i highly do not recommend this place I went there a couple of times to drop off my car and he was closed during the middle of the day

My wife called to ask about some work was treated extremely rude and cursed at by the employee who answered the phone telling her that getting our 87 vanagon fixed was not possible. And they didnt want the work. Hate this place do not bring your vehicle here.
