This is my second time using Ace Air & Appliances. Today it was to repair our dryer. As always I was very pleased with how easy it was to book an appointment. They were on time and reasonably priced and our dryer is working great again! I definitely recommend them for your appliance repair needs.
Vladimir has been fixing our appliances for over 10 yrs, including our oven, furnace, and most recently our dryer. He is always available the same day we call, with professional service and our appliance working perfectly when he is finished. He wore a mask and gloves, covid safe. We will cont. to call on Vladimir in the future.
Called a local number in Rancho Bernardo. A heavily accented man named Alex came out to repair my air conditioner that stopped blowing cold. He replaced a part that he said cost $157. and cleaned the unit, cleaned the electrical contacts all in less than an hour. Charged me over $500. I found out the part was $14.99. The heading on the invoice was for an Ace Air Appliance out of San Clemente. Very shady IMO.
Great experience. Had a dryer repair over the weekend and he came out right away to fix it, did not have to wait until the weekdays.
Washer stopped working mid-cycle with a humming noise from the motor. Technician quickly diagnosed as a clogged or broken drain pump. First quote was $105 for the drain pump part, $269 labor to replace. Seemed a little pricey so I wanted to sit on it and do some research. Before he left the technician was haggling with me for a cash price to try to unclog the drain pump - if it worked, $250. If not, free. Strange!I youtubed the drain pump and it looks like the part is easily accessible and costs about $30. The issue I had was most likely a sock stuck in the drain pump. The next morning I took off the washer cabinet, took off the drain pump (its held on by metal clips), and quickly saw the sock stuck inside and removed with pliers. Took about 30 minutes for a novice. At perhaps a 15 minute job for the technician, I would say the $1000 hourly labor charge is a bit steep! ;)Pros - accurate diagnosis of problem, reasonable call fee ($65). Glad I didnt have to fret too much over figuring out what was wrong with it. Now I know.Cons - your part and labor may cost 3-4 times as much as it should
Beware this company buys local sounding domains to trick people. I was in a pinch because my dryer wasnt working and we have a large family. My search for appliance repair near me (corona) resulted in a website with a local number. Unfortunately, they were able to come that same day and required a $150 deposit to order the parts and said it would be a couple days and the total would be just over $450. It didnt feel right but I needed a working dryer so I agreed. Two days later, no part. I started looking around and calling places i found online and I noticed the same receptionist was answering calls to different numbers. I asked what the main company was and the answer was we have many names and numbers. Save your money and do your due diligence. I finally found a real local company Tru-Way Appliance Repair in Corona. They came the same day and the total cost was under $150. The part cost under $30. I canceled and requested a refund. They said it would take a week and several weeks later no refund. Beware and dont use Ace. They lie and overcharge.
Sent technician to repair .. said I needed a new one, and insisted on Bosch .. I agreed, a day later he called saying he could not find one anywhere & said my unit needed an intake valve, got serial # & returned with part. Spent 1hr 35 mins moaning - when finished, he did not run washer! & said he had to charge me more bcuz it took so long! Would not apply the $65 original fee to work.3 days later I ran a load of dishes & it leaked just as it had prior to repair (laminate floor destroyed) I called & reported that the repair had been misdiagnosed & complained about technician .. requested a return call from owner or management . One hour later, the incompetent technician called me!!! Put me on the spot - then said I would get a full refund of $465 .. two more calls later .. no refund or call from management. May 23rd until now June 27th NOTHINGTerrible company .. totally unethical to have technician confront me ..
I called to have a clothes washer repaired in my rental unit. Two technicians came out performed a service. However, I dont know what they did because they never sent me an invoice or receipt of any kind. My tenant sent me a video of the washer and dryer (full size stacked) left displaced in the hallway and the dryer was inoperable. Days later when I could finally get a hold of Victor, one of the technicians, he lied and said he made a good faith effort to call me. He did not and it had been days later anyway before we spoke about his sloppy work. He assured me he would 1) go back to put the washer and dryer back into place; and 2) send me an invoice for the work. Not did he lie again and not show up, he has never sent me an invoice. I have called numerous times to speak to someone about getting an invoice. The dispatch lady doesnt understand English well and is unresponsive. She assured me however a manager would call me back. Weeks later, i still have yet to receive a call back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. IF YOU DO, YOU ARE DOING IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
I called in the afternoon to have my AC unit repaired and the technician was able to come out the same day. I was given a 3 hour arrival window, but I requested service earlier within the window and they were able to accommodate. The technician called with their ETA as soon as they finished the previous job, which I appreciated! The technician was very courteous and professional and was able to quickly diagnose the issue with my AC Unit. The technician was very patient in answering all of my questions (I had quite a few) and he had my AC up and running in no time and at a very reasonable cost. Great experience!
Ace Air was prompt on a Saturday late afternoon which was amazing. They were professional and friendly and fixed the problem with our dryer quickly. I would reccomend them 100%.
We had a new Bryant Central Air system replace our old system last year and was very happy with Walter.A year later (now) the unit kept shutting off after 15 minutes and we called Ace. Walter knew right away the issue and fixed the plugged drainage pipe. Walter also cleaned the outside unit and made sure the inside unit was sealed up and changed the filter.Works great and it’s 105 degrees outside!I highly recommend Ace Air and ask for Walter!He is very knowledgeable and has a great attitude!
I just want to say a big shout out to Ace Air Appliance and how wonderful these guys are! Our air conditioner died at our vacation rental and we had visitors coming in the same day. Vladimir came out the next morning and told us that we needed a new air conditioner as ours was only 14 years old! They came out the next day installed a wonderful new air conditioner in less than 2 hours and my guests were extremely happy! Other air conditioning companies were going to take at least a week to be able to get in a new unit. Ace Air gave us a new Carrier air conditioner the next day! If you want fast, professional and courteous service dont hesitate to call them! You can be sure we will be whenever we need any new air conditioning units or repairs again! I used Ace to repair an outdoor fireplace ignition switch. Within days the switched stopped working again. I called and was told a repairman would come to fix but never did. I called again weekly for almost 2 months attempting to get the repair made. Every time I called they took my number and said a manager would call - but the manager never contacted me. I recently called only to be told that its now out of their 3 month warranty. A) what warranty. B) when I started contacting about the issue it would have still be in warranty. I would give them a zero if it was possible. After 10 calls to the office without any call back from a manager I now plan to take this to the Better Business Bureau.
I called this Company to replace a non operational spark ignitor on my Forced Air Furnace as diagnosed by PG&E. My furnace does not emit heat because of a non functioning spark ignitor. According to Technician Eugene from ACE the induction control board needs to be replaced. He never mentioned anything about a spark ignitor. Also the furnace can not get turned on anymore. I argued why it can not get turned on anymore when in fact before PG&E left the system can get turned on. He said the part cost $850. but he has to order it. I need the furnace fixed immediately and will have to find another company. He offered to install a new system the weekend for about $4,000. I said I will talk to my brother who is a plumber. After he left I still could not believe why the furnace can not get turned on so I wanted to check on it again. First I turned on the thermostat then turned on the furnace and OMG it works. The Technician did not turn on the thermostat that’s why. Don’t you think that he should have known? I lost my $65 for nothing. Another company came to fix my furnace, it only needed a spark ignitor for a small fee. God bless him. Beware of dishonest companies like this ACE AIR APPLIANCE. They can not be trusted.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! We called this outfit to repair our gas fireplace. Their representative said his name was Michael (although in other reviews hes apparently Vladamir). He showed up after 8:00 PM, more than 2 hours late. First he sat in front of the fireplace doing absolutely nothing for several minutes. Then he started banging around inside, told us it needed a gas valve, for which he would charge $800 parts & labor, and charged us $65 just for the estimate. We ended up calling a different company (one that only works on fireplaces). They showed up on time, fixed a simple reset button, explained how to avoid the issue going forward, and only charged us $150.V.M. - San Juan Capistrano
Crooks! Do not use them. Andre came out told my husband air conditioning was flat and must be replaced with an estimate of $7500. Had someone else come out the next day and it’s fixed. Waste of time and money with this company.
Terrible customer service once they take your money. Called them to fix my kitchen aid refrigerator and the technician Art called me back right away, within the hour and was at my house the same day. He provided the estimate and said he would order the part. Came back a week later and replaced the part and gave a 90 day warranty within 3 weeks the same issue was happening again. I called them 5 times to have the tech come out again and the only response the lady would give is that they would call me back. A week later and nothing. I have called my bank already to dispute the charge they ran on my credit card since they have voided the service agreement by not honoring their warranty. DO NOT do business with this company. My complaint is no different than many if you go through some of their reviews. Terrible company.
Really disappointed in this company technician arrived without a mask and never offered to put one on. Went on the roof without his tools to check our AC unit. He was back down in 5 min. wrote up a bid for a new unit without even attempting to see what the problem was, asked what other techs had said about the job instead of doing the work himself. The point of the call was to get another opinion and a reputable quote to present to the board of directors. Instead I was charged $65.00 for an unreliable quote and a wasted 15 minutes of my day. Would never recommend to anyone. His failure to wear a mask during this time was just the icing on the cake that this is not a business I would ever recommend or call again.
Great service from Walter M. from ACE Air Appliance. After calling numerous companies, only ACE Air Appliance was able to provide us with same day dryer repair service on Easter Sunday. Walter quickly diagnosed the problem with the dryer, and he had all the tools, equipment, and parts needed to make the repair. He was very professional, courteous, and neat. Walter arrived promptly as scheduled and was done within an hour. Thanks for scheduling on short notice, and coming to our rescue. You are highly recommended.

Worst experience for repairs!!! Very poor communcation and customer service. I had a washing machine leak and had them come out. Vlad replaced the hose and then decided it needed a water sensor replaced. Charged me $242 for simple hose and said would be $100 for the sensor was supposed to return with part the following Monday. Luckily did not pay upfront for the sensor. Did not hear back from them and called to which they told me he had gotten stuck on another job and would come the next day. I told them there was water standing in the washer and it was urgent. Tuesday cancelled because traffic would be to much if he did not head home. Really??? Wednesday said he was on the way to my home and never showed and didnt answer my call/text. Called the office and the lady said he told her he didnt have the part. What??? Then said part would not be in until next Monday. I had to move on. This company is very unprofessional and probably taking advantage of many people. I will report this to BBB. It is quite telling that after a poor review several 5 star reviews come up, would not be surprised if they add fake reviews to make them look better!!
Michael came on time only hour after making appointment. We thought we would have to replace a new refrigerator as it was damaged in a move. He worked diligently for an hour trying to replace broken plastic parts with metal screws etc. It works beautifully now. He also volunteered advise on maximizing the life of our oven. My sister just had brain surgery and is undergoing radiation treatment. She didn’t have the 500 dollars needed for her AC repair. I explained this to the technician and he cut the price by 60%. One of the doctors instructions was for her to not get overheated. This mans compassion just might have saved her life
I called this company to repair a Kenmore dryer. I had to call them 3 times before I actually spoke with someone named John, as he hung up on me twice without even saying hello... They finally gave me a window of 11 - 1 yesterday. Around 2, I called to see what the techs ETA was and the woman I spoke to said she would have to call her manager and find out, as she did not have any info. About an hour went by, no call back. I called them back and was now told between 4 & 6. No show. Today i called these back and was told a window of 9 & 11. Called @ 1 PM to see whats going on and again was told by the woman working reception, that she would need to call her manager again. This is no way to run a business. Quite ridiculous. Dont bother wasting your time with these folks! Also, be sure to check out their BBB rating.

I had service mid-December 2019. My fridge wasnt cooling well. Service technician came and vacuumed underneath the unit. Told me there is a problem with the PCB Board and mentioned that it was no longer available for my 2005 KitchenAid refrigerator. Charged $128 for a vacuum job and bad advice. Ive been researching fridges for the past two months, ready to buy one at an appliance store and luckily the sales person researched the PCB Board for my existing one - they are available and I had their recommended technician come and install it same day.So Ace Air could have fixed it, but didnt take the time. Wasted my time and money and now wont take our call to resolve.No, I would not recommend this company.
Sobir was an amazing technician when our refrigerator was having issues. In addition to his technical abilities he was a very kind, caring and considerate person! He went above and beyond what was expected. This kind of dedication to doing a great job seems difficult to find these days! I would recommend him to anyone and we will continue to use him for all of our home appliance, heating and air conditioning needs.
Walter is the best! Both our fireplace and clothes dryer went out today (New Years Day). We called hoping we might be able to schedule an appointment, but Walter offered to come today. He showed up around 3:30 and worked until 7:30 until both jobs were perfect. He was incredibly polite and so reasonably priced. We are very thankful to have found him. His work vehicle is well equipped and he had every part he needed to fix both appliances right away. Well definitely call him if we ever need help with heating/air or any of our appliances. I called this company to come check out my fridge because it was spilling water, I was happy with the fast response, and the so called expert guy came to my home almost immediately they said theyll charge $75 dlls for the drive, anyway we agreed, the expert said they need it to order a part, it would take about a week to arrive, we ended up paying almost $500dlls for their service, the problem came when within the 90 day guarantee we started having the exact same issue as before, we call them back assuming they were going to come back and fix the problem, but to my surprise they had no experts available anymore, we waited a few days, and call again, they said they were going to call us back, but never got a call, its absolutely wrong for you guys to just take the money and forget about the customer, and now you got a bad review, and hopefully this helps another person not to hire your services,if your not willing to respect the 90 day guarantee then dont offer it and be upfront with the customer.

Service technician replaced the freezer fan but broke the shelf in doing so. Despite numerous contacts by phone and email, the company has not replied. Obviously, they wont take responsibility for what they broke.

Came out to my home on the guise of San Matoe County Applicance Repair - and gave me an estimate for my insurance,- (company I called from the web I suspect bogus advertisement) insurance company specified they had to talk to technician who would not wait for the insurance company to answer the call (American Home Shield) they were taking a long time to take the call. I called insurance company and now they will not honor the diagnosis without talking to the applicane company. What a horrible mess!

These days when the stores are selling appliances that are not as solid and reliable as they used to be it is imperative to have a service we can count on.
Called at 8 pm on a Thursday night for dryer fix. Appointment window was set for 8-11 am the next morning. Walter arrived at 8:45 am, and was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and had the dryer fixed in a timely manner. Excellent experience all around. Use these guys if you live in Orange County and ask for Walter if possible.
Requested a dishwasher repair and scheduled an appointment for the next day between 8-11am. The company called at 9:30am stating they would arrive in 15 minutes. At 11:15 called to find out where the tech was as it had been over 1.5 hours since we received that call and it was now outside the window of when they were suppose to arrive. We were told that the manager needed to be called and they would call back. Another 20 minutes went by and no call. We called again only to be told the same thing. By 12pm, we decided to call another company. We called to cancel and they said, tech would be there in 10 minutes that he had gone to the wrong address.....if that was the case, then why not just let us know that and not make us wonder why the tech wasnt showing up. We waited 4 hours only to have to reschedule with a competitor. I would not use this company. There customer service was terrible.
Walter is probably the most honest, competent technician weve ever had service one of our appliances. He went above and beyond the call of duty by protecting our floors while servicing our refrigerator. His prices are reasonable and he showed up the same day we called. Hes the only one well ever in the future when we need repairs.
I called for appointment this morning as my heater would not work the service call was $65 but if there was a repair it would be taken off. Vladimir came early and diagnosed the problem as thermostat and ignitor. He had the parts in his truck. He showed me the part for the thermostat. He said it was $195 I told him on line it was $32.99. He said do you want it installed? I had no choice but was furious. He then showed me the ignitor and it was $100 on line. He charged me $200.Anyway, I had them replaced and he said he would take $30 off, the bill was still $395. highway robbery. Vladimir did a good job and it works, but I would never use them again as they take advantage of people who can not fix themselves.
Moved in to a new place, had a nice fireplace, but with a broken remote gas starter. Walter came out immediately, did a great job diagnosing the issue, and set up a whole new system for me, exactly what I needed without overselling me. Couldnt be happier with my new system, AND the install was great! Very delicate floors around the fireplace, he took his time and covered everything before removing parts from inside my fireplace and setting up the new system. Very knowledgable, quick follow up, and great work. Highly recommend!
Dishonest company. Called for heater not working, given estimate for new control board $500+ and $250+ for installation. Turned out to be a fuse that cost $1.00. Will be contacting state licensing board. had to give 1 star to post review. They deserve no stars.
Called out for my A/C turning on and popping the breaker at my main panel.Tech spent about 30-45 minutes and replaced a capacitor ($12 part) and added a Hard Start Kit ($10.95 part). Cleaned my coils and claimed to add Freon. I doubt freon was added, but I was not watching so could not confirm. The A/C was producing nice cold air prior to the issue so not much if any freon would have been needed. Total bill: $500.00.Their website said 20% off labor for new customers and I was told after it was complete that $500 included the 20% off. Whole thing seemed shady and I feel a bit ripped off.Did they fix the problem: Yes.Would I use them again or recommend them: NO.There are plenty of other options out there, Id recommend going elsewhere.

Vladamir came to my rescue locating a scarce circuit breaker part for igniting my long obsolete, but loved CREDO stove. He needed to look internationally for the part and how he found it, as promptly as he did, was amazing. My stove was up and running once again and in time to host a family luncheon Saturday. ACE AIR and APPLIANCE is most fortunate to have as qualified, dedicated and personable service repair technician.To his further credit, he found other significant recommendations as to furnace filter recommendations and removing obstacles to improve air flow which will certainly lower our energy costs and possibly reduce further future repair. The repairman (the owner I think) showed up 3 hours after my initial call about my broken dryer. He was courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He fixed my dryer, charged a fair price, and did not leave until he was sure I was completely satisfied. Couldnt ask for more. Will use him again.
The gentleman that came was very polite. He showed up quickly and had to order the part for my dryer but was back promptly the next day to finish the repair. Three month warranty also!
Friendly but extremely disappointing service. I leased a storefront with an air condition and heater, which were not working Technician came out twice and left without completing the work. Paid for both visits and Im still at square one without a working air condition and heater.Made several calls to owner/technician as well as the office to get back on their schedule. Calls were not returned. When I eventually talked with someone, I was always told someone would call me back in half hour but they never called me back. When appointments were set, the tech would either not show up or call to reschedule (and then not show up).Finally had to give up on trying to work with them and had to find another HVAC company.Can not recommend.
Walter came out to fix my dryer which was making an awful noise. He was such a great technician. Very honest, good worker, came on time and advised me to have the ducting blown out on my dryer to remove an unbelievable amount of lint that accumulated over the 5 years. This was done to prevent a fire in the future. Everything works fine. Highly recommend him to anyone.

I called with a refrigeration issue at 5pm on a Wed. Yes, he was a bit difficult to understand at first but he quickly and efficiently took down my address and arrived within 15 minutes of my call. This guy is the real deal. He was able to diagnose my problem within a few minutes and had all the parts in his truck to fix it. He also did some routine maintenance to prolong the life of my refrigerator. He was honest, quick & definitely knows his stuff. I will certainly use this company again.
Walter came out on a Sunday. My defrost function was non-existent and freezer foods were melting and fresh food was warming....in less than two hours he had the problem fixed and the next day the freezer temp was almost zero and the fresh food was about 36 degrees! Great job, Walter!
We would give zero star for this customer service and how this store operate. Not reliable! We had Victor came to fix our undrain dishwasher. After 1 week and half it got undrained again. Call them for two days, the girl said I will call you back but never ... I dont want to be a pain in the butt. I just want people following what they say or will do. If you dont think you dont have to please your customer you shouldnt work at the Customer service or taking the call!???* Review from an angry mother instead of spending time with the kid she had to wash all the dishes by hand...**
This is the worst company I have ever experienced. They came to the house and stated we needed several repairs at a cost of $600. That same week the system shut down. I called them back. They told me the compressor of my 2 year old Lennox had gone out that they sold us. Furnace and air cost $5,500. They quoted a price of $1,500. I then called Icean Air who came out and found the wires had been revered in the electrical box. It started right up at a cost of $100. Ocean Air was the best. Also this company did not return my telephone calls to let me know what was happening with the Lennox compressor. WORST SERVICE EVER!! WILL NEVER USE THEM again. 1 star is too many
We have been using Ace Air & Appliances with Vladi since 2003. He always shows up right when he says he will be there. He is quick, honest about what is needed and does not over charge. He has always been able to fix our appliance no matter what it has been...I would only trust him.
Terrible. I had a leaky A/C, and a guy named Mike came over. Rather than attempting to fix anything he wanted to charge $5,860 to replace the whole A/C. His written evaluation included the line float switch seemed to be not functional; however, he never even tested the float switch. The A/C was off the entire time he was inspecting it, and when he asked, I told him that the switch worked. I was charged $65 for an evaluation. I used another company and the guy cleaned the drain line and leveled the drain pan with strong tape, and the A/C was back to normal. Hard not to conclude that I was cheated. Dont use this company.
Came out and looked at my dryer. He took it apart and looked at it for a while. Then he made a phone call in the laundry room for about 15 minutes. Gave me a diagnosis of a few different things it could be, everything from needing to replace the mother board ($$$) to the igniter (way less $). So he left saying “I’ll be back tomorrow between 11am-12pm with an igniter and we’ll try that first. He was super nice, didn’t charge me. I waited until 1pm the next day, called the phone number and the phone guy said he’d call the same repairman and call me back. Never heard anything. Called again at 3, got the same answer. They hadn’t heard back from him. So I waited. At 5pm I called Caesars Appliances. They came the next day, diagnosed it within like 10 minutes. It was a loose high limit burner wire. Just had to twist the wire back on. How easy. And how lame Ace was not to catch it. They still NEVER called back though to even tell me anything...days later now and nothing.
Wouldnt give even one star-two visits to repair problem that I diagnosed! Within 30 days same problem with appliance occurred. Multiple messages left at several numbers, each with the same voice message of unavailability, no response in over one week. I feel ripped off!!
SCAM!!! DO NOT USE THEM.!!! Called out because our AC was not working, right in the middle of a heat.. An elderly tech arrived, checked it out, he said it needed more refrigerant. I told him to put in some refrigerant, we agreed $400. i told him I be will back, I had to go to the bathroom. When I came back (10 min), he was tightening a cap on the AC unit. I asked, Done??, and he replied, yes., 20 years experience. I asked how much he put in, he said 4 pounds. He never checked all the vents in the house. The next day, no cold air, I called the company, they told me they would have a tech over between 6pm and 9pm, it was a no show. Now its Friday, my family is feeling overheated. I called again, company told me they would sent a tech between 3pm and 6pm. I proceeded to inform the guy on the phone about I am not satisfied with the way the tech did service. Checking around I found it takes 7 to 15 minutes to enter one pound of refrigerant, and that I wound put a stop check, if I was not satisfied, he hung up on me. I tried to call back but he would not answer. Tech was a No Show again!!SC

Incredible heat and my AC broke..called and got same day service with no additional after hours fee. Unit was fixed in a matter of minutes and technician explained what I should be doing to keep my unit working for additional years. I highly recommend this company.
A/C unit would not turn on. Called Ace Air Appliance and they had Walter out in about 2 hours. Fixed the problem quickly and had the A/C working again. Thanks!
BEWARE BEWARE DO NOT USE COMPANY!! If I could give 0 stars I would, came to house for broken fridge, told me they could repair for $1,200. since replacing it would be $12,000 they ordered the part and supposedly fixed the problem when they returned. Not so...the fridge never did get repaired. Two days after it was not cooling at all again, they have a 90 day warranty on all parts and repairs but now will not return or call back. Complete thieves. GE has now been to our home and said we were completely ripped off by these ACE HOLES!!
Excellent service. Paul came out as soon as I called, diagnosed the problem, got the parts, came back and did a great job replacing our evaporator tower. Could not ask for better service.
Excellent service. My A/C failed and I called late on a Saturday afternoon. They had someone at the house by 7:00 pm. He correctly diagnosed the problem, got the parts, and had it all working again by noon on Sunday !! No extra weekend charge, no emergency charge -- only good service at a fair price.
NEVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIRS. I Called for refer repair on Dec 26. Was told the part had to be ordered. Tech came back on Dec 27th and made repair and billed me $450. Refer started making horrible noise on Dec 28th. Called 5 times and was promised a call back each. Last call I was told that they were closed until Jan 2nd yet they still took my money on Dec 27th. Noise from refer kept from sleeping well as it was very noisy. Tech finally came back on Jan 4th telling me he had to order another part and would call me back that day. Called 4 days later to schedule following day repair. Final repair completed Jan 9th, 2 full weeks after my initial payment of $450. I wasted a total 12 hours of my life waiting for tech to show up. Tech also scratched my grandmothers dining room table. Horrible service. The office is unprofessional.
I had a problem with our gas stove top--on a Saturday afternoon--and called Ace Air/Appliances.Walter was at our house within an hour of when I called! Told me that there was not an extra charge for weekends! (yay!!)He was very thorough in examining the problem--took his time and asked about the history. Hes a great detective--because it turns out that it is a problem with my gas line that affects not only the stove, but many other gas things in my home. I just had not noticed the others acting the same way. He gave my stove/oven thorough check up otherwise before re-assembling and cleaning up. I was surprized that when he finished-he said because it was not a problem that he could fix for me--he was not going to charge me. Wow--amazing--such an honest guy! Took his cards and he will be first on my list of go-to repair folks, and hope to share the story and get him some more business. Thanks!
On February 8, 2016, our air conditioner quit. After reading the reviews and seeing the forecast for high temperatures, I phoned Vladi. He came out and fixed our air conditioner within a couple of hours. What a wonderful man. You can see he loves what he does and he was efficient! I highly recommend him! Thank you, Vladi!
I did not have these people service my appliances but I did call them and a guy answered that you can barely understand. he has to repeat things 2 to 3 times. I told him what the problem was with the appliance and he said I cant tell you anything unless I give him a part number??? He was rude and unprofessional. He couldve handle it much better. I dont know if these guys are any good but first impression is everything at least to me. watch out!!! They claim they give quotes over the phone,NOT!!! they just want to come over and charge you the service fee.

I have had such great and satisfied experience with this company that I would like to share it with everyone who is looking for services for their home appliances.Back in Oct 2014, I moved into a house, upon moved in, I found air conditioning was not working properly, and my refrig was leaking from moving. I called this company Ace Air. Not only they arrived as scheduled, but they did a super good job on repairing my frige and air conditioning units.Cost was very fair, not super cheap, but I was very satisfied with the work done and willing to pay the charges. The person who came to repair the units were not speaking fluent English, (They are from Eastern Europe, but, they are super kind and provide sincere advice.After month past, I noticed the new installed thermostat was not working for heat, I called them again and they came again on schedule and replaced brand new unit without any charges, not even for the traveling they made from San Clemente to where I live, Anaheim.I will call them again if I need services for my home appliance in the future if I need. And I would recommend them to anyone who might be looking for repairing home appliances.

Vladimir is the owner and he is approachable and quite knowledgable. Vladi is very responsive and responds almost instantly. He responded on the day of inquiry and gave me a quote on the day to replace all three wall gas furnaces. He installed 3 new Williams gas furnaces in my rental units with new thermostats and roof vents. THey work well now and my place is quite comfortable. He and his partner did the whole job in 2 days. The more you know about what you want the better the outcome would be. Thanks!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Made an appointment with them a week in advance, I called to confirm with them the day-of and asked for a 30 min courtesy call, which they said they would do. Waited at the property for them 4 hours and each time I called for an update they would say the technician is 10-15 minutes away....he never came. I kept calling for updates every 15 minutes after it was 2 hours past the appointment window. They still didnt show up after 5 phone calls of promises, and I had driven over 1 hour to meet them, wasted 4 hours sitting there and then when I continued to call for updates they would pick up and then hang up on me rather than just tell me what was going on.
The owner, Walter, came to my rescue and repaired our freezer/refrigerator, which was leaking all over our kitchen floor. Praying and hoping, I called him at 6 oclock in the morning, he was pleasant and came within the hour. He has 80% of the parts needed for repairs with him on his truck. He is the epitome of service.
The fridge stopped working Sunday morning so we called Ace. He was here in just a bit over an hour, diagnosed the trouble (fried motherboard), fixed the problem in less than an hour. Very happy with the service.

I cant say enough good things about Vladi and Ace Air Appliance. Vladi is a person you can trust and has the utmost professionalism, honesty and integrity. We have a home that was built in the early 90s. Our air went out the first time and we called another company who gave us a quote of over $6000 and that was just to change the downstairs air conditioner, not the condenser outside. We then called Vladi and he was able to change the air conditioner for less than $2000. When we called him, he came out the same day. Never charges more for weekend calls.We had our upstairs air go out and I called him on a Sunday and he came within two hours. He new within a few minutes what was wrong with the system and was able to make a quick repair. These are not new air conditioners by any stretch of the imagination but Vladi is always honest in telling us if it can be repaired or not.We also had him come to our building and take a look at the air conditioner there. We had a quote from another company of over $25,000 and he said that he could do it for $5000.We are very thankful that we found Vladi and would recommend him and Ace Air Appliance to anyone in need of any service they offer.
