He didnt know David caradine! SIFU NEWTON TRAINED IN LONG BEACH WITH SIFU KAM YUEN WHO WAS AN ADVISOR FOR THE SERIES SHOWING CARADINE THE ART while filming, he had no prior experience before he got that role. SIFU YUEN would stop by from time to time ( 2003 ish) wasnt a bad place though the town has been dying since the early 80s

Terrible experience.Attended for a couple years - really wanted to love it because it was traditional Kung Fu. But I always cringed whenever the instructor belittled and insulted the students. We saw many long time students get fed up and leave, or find something better to go to. It got worse as time went on and my husband, myself, and our son all became very discouraged and disappointed in the decline of it. We paid a lot of money in full upfront and were denied a refund of the time we did not use even though we were never given a contract.I even had to take the owner to small claims court to try to get that portion of my money refunded, and he lost the case TWICE and still hasn’t returned what is owed back.

This awesome place, was the closest realistic thing, to entering an ancient Shaolin Temple (The true path of Kwai Chang Cane). I was both Sad, and Shocked, to find the old school fenced up and in complete disarray :| ............My suspicions were confirmed on their Facebook page: Permantly Closed. I feel both Angry, and Sad! ...........My only hope, is that another instructor will find interest in re-opening the old school?

I came here back in 2007 and it was a great place. I moved away and have been meaning to come back, however recently I passed by and saw it closed. My question was answered with another comment so I will refer to Facebook.

Great school but were is sifu at now me and my brothers use to come here and want to come back I moved back in the area and hoping to start right away

I loved it! If I move back to that area, Im going back... It is a great school, the master is very knowledgeable, he is also very good friends with the deceased actor David Carradine, I was there when the man visited us... Overall, it is a great school.

Does anyone know if the school moved location I drove by there today and it said it was permanently closed.
