This place is the real deal. They have done wonders of my daughter. They have given her strength and confidence. It’s a wonderful place, that grows the whole person. It’s not just about self defense.

Traditional authentic Japanese martial arts with great mentor ship. We have been in different cities and only in San Antonio we have found the best Dojo! It is a wonderful place for kids, teens and also adults.

My son had gone somewhere else for a few years learning a different martial art, but as time went on, even though he moved up to 2nd degree black belt, he didnt like it. He stopped for a year and then we decided to start Kenseido and he LOVES it!! He looks forward to going. I even use it as a reward/consequence. If he doesnt behave he loses the privilege of going to Kenseido. He loves Kenseido so much that it works. I love that the instructors teach respect not only through words but also through their actions in how they speak with the students. Its a pleasure. I HIGHLY recommend Kenseido US Headquarters!!!

I have attended this Dojo going on 2 years. I particularly like it because the Kenseido discipline takes the best parts of different martial arts and integrates them in a comprehensive curriculum.It has a lot of tradition and ceremony while still being flexible and fun!

A Great Dojo, good way to learn martial arts effectively.

Sensei is exceptional in his teachings at this Dojo and has helped our daughter to grow physically, spiritually and mentally. Sensei is a pillar of the community and I respect him immensely. I have and will continue to recommend this Dojo!

My son just started about a week ago and the instructor has been very patient and kind with him. We are very pleased with the results, so pleased, that a couple of my friends and I are going to sign up as well.

Have been a student off and on for 4 years now. By far, the best place and people to train with. Instructor is very patient and very thorough. Always encouraging his students to be there best every day, not just in the dojo. I have watched him instruct very young kids (4 & 5 yo) up to older adults (60 yo) and everyone respects him and learns a lot from him. With this dojo, it is not about the money, it is about learning the art of Kenseido, the Japanese culture of respect, focus, and effort. HIghly, highly recommend this place!!

I first found this dojo almost a year ago. I went inside more for my curiosity than any serious search for a new place to train in the martial arts. Now I have a very different perspective. The dojo and its instructors have given me somewhere to learn and grow within the martial arts, which is generally the goal of finding a dojo, but it has given me much more than that. Here I have found a place with like-minded individuals who wish to become something more. We dont just learn self-defense or fancy punches and kicks. We are able cultivate our awareness of other cultures while reinforcing our own character. Training here has been a privilege and one that I hope I can continue to experience.

This dojo is a warm, family oriented, kid friendly environment. My kids love it there.

As soon as we walked in and met Sensei Winslow WE INSTANTLY KNEW that we had found the best dojo in San Antonio.The standards are excellent across the board, from the immaculate cleanliness to the empowering lessons.Sensei Winslow has developed the finest environment for the students and teaches them respect, discipline and teamwork. For these past 28 years, it has been an honor and a privilege to teach and serve the families in the San Antonio area and beyond. Yesterday afternoon, while teaching a class of 10 children - ages 6 - 11 - I was just as inspired as they were!
