Im a network engineer for a living. I was hoping that Grande would serve as a good alternative to big telecom providers. They have not. Their speeds are so slow all of the time. It is honestly not worth paying for a higher speed plan or buying your own equipment. They are clearly throttling. They have intermittent connectivity issues. Their pricing plans resemble their larger competitors, meaning you get the first year at a reasonable price and get penalized for loyalty. The one thing that gets them a second star is their customer service reps for the most part are available, friendly, and helpful.

I asked for a longer cable because they gave me a short one that got in the way and looked bad in my office and they tried charging me 50 bucks for fixing their mistake. On top of that they wont even screw the long cable into the wall so now i have to move my whole desk to accommodate for these people

I thought I was going to enjoy grande better as being a smaller internet provider instead of some of the bigger monopolies out there. However, I am being penalized for loyalty of course. Logged in to see that there is a promotional deal for 30.99 a month for the same exact service I am paying almost 60 dollars for. I am livid. Talked with support and of course theres nothing they can do. I do NOT recommend Grande. The connectivity drops all of the time, I would much rather go with another company and will be looking somewhere else for internet service now.

Used to be really happy with their service. My bill jumped up $15 dollars at the start of 2021. I called in April to see what was going on and I was told that theyd be able to reduce it by $13 dollars. Come May, my bill hadnt changed. Had to call again and have the same conversation.Whats so frustrating about this exercise is how incredibly insulting it is. Why does my bill increase by $15 and then is magically able to be dropped by $13? And why is it that even when the second customer rep tells me theres a note in my account about lowering my bill a month ago, no one can explain why it wasnt actually lowered.And of course, Im not able to actually speak to a supervisor who might be able to answer these questions for me. Keeping customers on hold, saying supervisors arent available and simply failing to return phone calls are tactics used to keep customers away from middle management. Its made us all used to the hearing the expression, Im sorry, Im not able to do that for you.If you want fairly reliable internet service that will increase by 30% every year and has absolutely atrocious customer service, Grande is definitely for you.UPDATE 5/7/2021:I was able to speak to a supervisor who explained that the first customer service rep simply didnt finish the work order for my monthly price reduction. I was told by the supervisor that my current monthly fee would be reduced and that I would get a prorated deduction for the last bill that I paid.I should also state, that both customer service reps and the supervisor were professional and civil.My complaints are that 1) my bill rises about 30% each year 2) I have to make multiple phone calls to customer service to get it reduced 3) having to deal with hold times and poorly trained customer service reps.

This company dont even deserve a star. I had to go through this company only cause my currently apartments complex is contracted with them. Customer services is really bad. No one ever gets anything resolved. One representative tells you one thing, then another tells you something else. Equipment is very outdated. Since my cable/internet services been installed which installed took forever due to outdated equipment .I have never had access to my TV guide channel. Due to poor service and the amount I was paying $180, so I called to downgrade my services to internet service only. They disconnected my services all together and reconnected for WiFi only and charged me a restoring fee . 😤😡I cant wait to go back to Spectrum 😭😭😭

I’ve had (internet) service with just about every internet provider over the past 15 years, and I can decisively say Grande has been the worst provider I’ve ever worked with. My internet is not only routinely down, over 10 times in one month, but you absolutely are not able to connect with an agent. I was floored when I phoned in to technical support and the system stated my wait time would be 6 hours. No, this was during the “Texas Winter Storm,” just an average weekday. Also, if your bill is even one day late, Grande charges a $30 late fee. No company I’ve worked with has ever attached such a high fee. It’s also rather pitiful how they send Grande (sales) representatives to my house nearly ever month to try and connect me with different services and promotional packages they are currently offering. Wouldn’t they make note I am already connected with their service before they send someone to try and switch me over to Grande, of which I am already a customer? The bottom line is, all they care about is signing you up for service. One you do so, forget about being able to connect with technical support. At this point, I’m just waiting for my lease to end so I can discontinue service. I’ve even written them a letter that never received a response. Do yourself a favor, choose any other provider (AT&T, Spectrum, etc), I’ve had service with them all, and they are all better to their customers.

If I could give this service no stars I would !!! Spoke w Javier whom advises that my services wouldn’t be interrupted until a certain day, 3 days before that day my services were interrupted, mind you I have all this via text message PROOF ! I spoke w the manager Randal who then advised he couldn’t do NOTHING for me even after giving him the proof ! Even if you have proof of the conversation they will not help ! So be careful ! The employee will pick and chose what they will notate and if it’s not notated it didn’t happen ! I have a monthly bill of $70 here I am paying $200 in the SAME MONTH !! THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE !!!

Im a new customer and was really impressed with install customer representative speed of internet so i was excited to visit in person however if I had came in person first Id never actually signed up...this office and employee is the reason I was to cancel! For the simple fact of pure laziness and the condescending attitude who does not want to learn her companys new policies or programs .. Im speaking about the emergency broadband benefit plan that went live on May 16th I was there this past Monday and she made me feel like a complete illiterate poor beneath her low class and even said well we havent had anyone come in and try to apply so I dont know how to do this my manager wasnt trained on on this and neither was I so we cannot help you and then proceeded to act as if she was so busy even though there was not a soul in the store they were watching friends and the manager sat behind the door never came out once I dont know her name because she didnt even offer that but she tried to supposedly get online but all she kept giving me was every excuse on why she couldnt help so I hope anyone who has any questions doesnt go to this location because you will literally just be embarrassed and humiliated and then leave wanting to cancel.. theres nowhere to sit theyre not willing to help everything is completely bare walls and it acts like if they dont really want customers coming in at all so I guess I was interrupting her social hour however I feel the company failed at not training the employee or thats what she used the excuse as the customer service rep told me I had to go in person I went in person and they pushed me out the door and then they blamed the company for not training them and then her manager said sorry she couldnt help so I would love to work and salary job as a manager sit behind the big closed door not have to see customers and get the tell the employees to tell the customer that she wasnt trained and we cant help and still make the big bucks thats the type of people you have hired to work at that location hope youre happy because youre losing customers because of that one employee Word of mouth is everything.

This is the worst internet provider. Lost work from home jobs due to several outages with this internet. This internet is not reliable in my experience.Grande doesnt understand that people work from home and when there are several internet outages like Ive had, employers are not forgiving.

Service is horrible HORRIBLE HOOOOOOOOORRIBLE IF I COULD I WOULD DESTROY THE ONE STAR I HAD TO GIVE. I would put it in a shredder take it out the box and FLUSH IT DOWN THE TOILET. I only had internet for a short 1.5 week did not work on TV. Tried to get the guy out here several times to fix issue. Since I only had for that short of a time I dont owe you anything. Ridiculous just horrible....

Worst customer service of any cable provider. My cable has not been working for 5 days and they finally scheduled a tech to come to my place . After waiting all day I was informed by a very rude csr named Ruby that my tech canceled the work order ! She said I did not answer the call and there was no message left . I told her I was in the shower and she said I should have the phone with me in the shower so that I can answer it! Just ridiculously bad customer service ! The hold time to talk to someone about a problem is on avg 45 mins! Would not recommend!!

This cable and internet Is not good at all ...it is often down.. They are charging me $172 a month and just in this yr alone I have been left without service for full days... Yesterday it went down at around 2pm it is 9am almost and nothing. The customer service agent was nice and gave me a credit because she could see how many times Ive called this yr alone. I was charged $192 for February when I had no service for 10 days! I lost my job in October because my internet kept lagging and the company thought I was avoiding calls as I worked customer service from home. You are left with staring at the walls all day long.. I live on Austin Hwy in San Antonio.. The last I was told was a fiber optic cable was damaged or down.. I get things happen but too often its a company maintenance issue... I am moving out of Texas in 2 months and right now am contemplating on just canceling my account and not have any service at all since its whats happening now anyways... Not happy with this company.

I moved to the area about 6 months ago. The first months service was decent then to troubles started happening. For almost 3 months months from July - September the Grande Technician had to be called and I had to either take off half a day or wait for the tech. In those 3 months 3 modem/routers were replaced and a technician had to come out nearly 12 times. I still constantly lose connection and modem/router resets itself. I was told by one tech that the problems not in the device but internal/external wiring which needs to be completely re-wired. I bought a LinkSys Mesh device but to no avail. As I am typing this my equipment reset itself again. Its beyond frustrating. I will be leaving this company for AT&T in hopes for a better service. I have had Spectrum for so many years with very little troubles but was forced to go with either Grande or AT&T. I choose Grande because it was cheaper so thats what I get for going cheap. Just as a side note the customer service and technicians were friendly and professional but as stated above the problem lies in the wiring and if Grande doesnt nip the problem directly Ill just keep losing service and having to call, set-up an appointment and wait for tech...Im not willing to do this for another 6 months.Update: Dont be deceived by the response from Grande regarding my review. What was their solution to my service?....We can send out another cable tech So their response was a useless ploy to seem interested in my difficulties and to perceive to others that they are willing to help.

Beware after 1 year your bill will go up. Mine went up from $130.13 to $182.42 all because the NEW customer rate ha expired. When I called to complain the supervisor he pretty much said there’s nothing he could do. When I asked him if canceled my service and signed up as a new customer the next day under a different name, (my wife’s )would I get the new customer rate he said YES!!! Now that just seems ridiculous but that’s one way around it.

I dont have this service and I am not interested in it...HOWEVER the consistent flyers by mail are very annoying! Why do you guys bombard with repetitive mail fliers? I get at least 3 sometimes more a week. Please make it stop! l called your customer service number to inquire and was left on hold. (Not professional.) Hung up after 10 minutes after waiting for an answer.

I thought this wifi was great quality, but it’s not. every time i play my video game ( Xbox one ) it lags. It’s really not good in my personal opinion, if they say their better than spectrum or any other company, it’s not true. it’s trash, and i think this company needs to do a better job. high price bad wifi.

If I could do 0 stars I would. My apartment complex only allows service with only grande. If you have the choice to not choose them I totally would. Every year it increases like crazy. I also needed assistance with covid and they say one number and then next month surprise it’s even higher. The only reason I get, you have a yearly increase and an increase across the board. Even when a year hasn’t passed. Like the price is clearly ridiculous. And also they need to choose agents more wisely because I think I’ve only got one rep who’s been wanting to help but turns out his info he gave me was also wrong.Like the reviews on here with Negative reviews are so accurate.I’m really trying to get my apartment complex to change this service since it’s just horrible overall. But honestly they are the worst out there.

Ongoing intermittent issues since I first started service in Feb. 2021. High latency, dropped packets, WiFi dropping out, and complete loss of service multiple times. Have had 3 on site tech visits, a swap of my equipment, who knows how many engineers working past the pole, and countless notices that they cant help me because I am part of a known outage. Do what I am about to do and go literally anywhere else for service.

Where do I begin? The service is constantly cutting off. I’ve called multiple times but can never get anywhere. I was told I needed a higher internet speed, so I did that. Then, I was told that I needed a new modem, so I did that. Then, I was told I needed an eero mesh system to get everything to work right. Again, nothing worked. I’ve spent a ton of money just trying to use the service I’ve already paid for. When I call, I get a rude rep just about every time. I can never get a tech out or an adjustment to my bill since I can never use the internet. When you try to get a tech out, they try to charge you if the internet just so happens to be working when the tech arrives. It’s ridiculous. The only reason I use them is because my apartment complex only allows us to use grande. Otherwise, I’d gladly go with someone else. Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever done business with. I’ve never dealt with a company that seems to have an internal culture that screams “the customer calling about the internet not working is annoying, screw them.” It’s basically just a legal scam at this point. Steer clear.**update**I emailed the person below and got the same treatment as always. They don’t care, they just want to seem like they do. Who ever was working at 1:50pm Jan 19 2021 was the rudest lady Ive ever meet. My TV box got broken in a move and they wanted to charge me 350 because it had a loose piece. I said that price was rediculous and then she told me I was rediculous because I showed up to return a TV box that was broken. So I am a rediculous person because my box got broken in a move. The customer service here is horrible. Ive never been called names before thats a first.

I cant wait to change providers. The only reason why in using them is because somehow they got all clients from our apartment complex.There was an outage that started yesterday (dated on this post) at 12 noon. I call the service number and automated message says service will return at 530am. I wait till then, call again, pushed to 730am. I wake up. Itd now pushed to 12 noon. I go out and do an errand. Its now pushed to 6pm.Really guys. Get a handle on your company. I legitimately cant wait until we move out in the next few months to give my money to a more reliable provider.As someone who works from home, this is terrible time wasted on the weekend where I cant be productive.

I recently moved on a property that only uses you for internet and cable. I was very happy with who I had before.I was told that if I had to pay a deposit that I would be informed. I have never paid a deposit before with any company before.I didn’t know that I had a charge until I called to finish my setup for my living room.Also, to watch Netflix it’s a very slow process it takes way too long for it to come on.When I want to look up movies the pictures are very small and not enough explaining about a movie.My movie’s are not coming in as HD, I don’t know why.Thank youDenise

Just found out Grande submitted my girlfriend to a collection agency for not paying her bill. She firmly cancelled her account months ago but apparently they’ve been billing her this entire time.She cancelled for 2 reasons:They kept raising her monthly bill without notice.The service was poor and constantly interrupted.

I needed to return the gateway that the technician had installed because I already had a DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem that was compatible with their infrastructure (and I wanted to save the $13/month gateway rental fee that they impose on you, no matter which internet plan you go with. Switching from their own gateway to your own modem/router combo or gateway is as simple as calling their tech support number and telling them that you want to use your own equipment and theyll ask you for your modem/gateways MAC address and provision it on to their system. After a quick power cycle, your modem should be connected and once you return their gateway to their customer service center, youll be saving $13 a month and be paying much, much closer to plans advertised price. The single customer service agent had me in and out in all of 2 minutes (not an exaggeration). Grande Communications is by far the best ISP Ive ever used and I plan to keep using them for as long as possible.

I moved here in August from another state and set up autopsy on my account. I recieved several email notifications that my account was set up for auto pay. A couple of days ago I received an email saying that the auto pay did not go through. I immediately paid with my debit card. I didnt know why it wasnt paid. I called to ask to have the fees credited back because obviously there was an error. I was told they can credit me back the late fee, but not the insufficient funds fee. There is over 7 k in my checking. What insufficient fund? After contacting my financial institution I was told there was no payment returned. There would be record of that. ?????? Any company has a one time error discretion fee return. You cannot charge me an insufficient funds fee if the bank has no record of the payment being returned for insufficient funds. is illegal.

Internet went down within one day. Put in a work order in which the phone staff personnel said I would receive a phone call to schedule a maintenance/service order. Never received a phone call. Just got an email with an appointment already made without my input. But to top it off, the help never came. I was waiting all day within the time frame to fix the issue. But since they never came, the issue is still unresolved. Plus, I wasted my time waiting all day. Very bad unreliable service.EDIT: [Issue Resolved] First, even in the previous original post, I would like to make it clear that the in-person installation and technician—I would rate 5 STARS. It was not their fault that the internet didn’t work. They were professional and did the job right. However, it was a series of unfortunate events from the hard wiring, to the phone personnel, to the appointment email. I like to give credit where credit is deserved, and I give to all to the technician. Thank you, sir.

When we moved in they told us this was the only WiFi provider that works in our complex witch was a strait up lie. When we had someone come set up the WiFi it took 2 days longer then they said and the service man was late. Our WiFi gets 5mb on average while paying for 60mb and cuts out every two or so days. They are also not available during the weekends if your WiFi goes out and you need assistance.

Internet goes out every week. If you call they say there could be a $54 service charge if its not their equipment. I live in an apartment...nothing is mine so I shouldnt have to pay anything at all ever except high monthly bill! We have no choice in provider so I have to live with terrible internet when everyone is working at home due to Covid-19.

I know of one friend that has grande with the Eero app that lives in an apartment that has no problems, but in my area, even pre-covid when the online traffic was lower, we have had nothing but problems. You may be luckier and there is a better set of cable in your area, but for us, its maddening how often we have issues, and they never admit that the problem is on their end, they just always want to put a bandaid on the problem.

Horrible AVOID AT ALL COSTS if you have a choice. I dont because they have a contract with my apartment complex. They add hidden fees and dont tell you. They have internet outages so frequently that it interfered significantly with my job because I work from home and require a stable internet connection. I have lost multiple days of wages because of their trash service. My bill is over $100 every month when I paid for the $70 high speed plan. If you get this service you will regret it.

I would usually give them 5 stars but this morning I called just to get a one day extension cause I dont get paid till the 5th of this month and my bill is due on the 4th and I called a few days ago an agent named Joanne i think I could be wrong anyway she was very helpful and friendly and she told me that it was to early to get extension but she said I was on the Corona Relief program and I shouldnt have a problem with which I had no idea I was on or off any program i thought cause I had called to get help when we had lockdown I was automatically put on the program well I call this morning and I get this lady named Martha and I tell her my situation and she makes a big issue out of one day extension and tells me I was not on any plan and the program ended and she would have to check on a one day extension like I was lieing. I have been with grande 3 yrs an never missed a payment and I dont appreciate how martha spoke to me she seemed bothered that I called she helped me but she made it seem like she own the company an she was doing me a favor these times are hard enough dealing with this virus without having to deal with people like martha you need not to have her as a representative cause she just seems bothered she needs to take some of that attitude out of her voice when dealing with customers and remember it is people like me the CUSTOMER! that makes it possible for her to have a job to go to everyday. Very disappointed this is the first time I have ever had this problem with any of your representatives.

Grande Has been truly missed! I have recently switch to an alternate provider due to service not being available in my area and have been very unhappy since. I had Grande for a good 15 years and they have always been good to me. never any issues and when small issue did arise, Grande came back with great customer support and Fast. Hope you expand!

First of all I’m excited about the soft Inquiry on my Credit Report instead of hard inquiry. 2nd I appreciate the professionalism as I set up everything over the phone. Yes I appreciate the discount I’ve received, only $52 taxes included. Amazing how quickly the call was answered and the customer service I received. Then offered free installation, evening appointments and weekend. Yes, they were here to set me up at my convenience. I am very happy with Brian the technician on Tuesday. He was so pleasant, knowledgeable, patient and helpful with my setting up WiFi to my phone etc.. I regret not having any cash 💰 or I’d have tipped him. Since then I’ve recommended Grande to friends and family out of state. Not sure what other states their in yet. Thank you again for the speedy and professional service. Blessings!!!

I signed up for this service because they were advertising low rates. I spoke to a lady on the phone in which I stated I don’t want to spend no more than $100 a month on my services. Which she ensured me multiple of times it was doable. Signed up for the services in which she quoted me $89 plus tax every month. I then asked how much is tax she stated about $10-15. Boy was I freaking lied to. Got my first bill for $250 some dollars. Which included the $30 set up fee so $220 some dollars. There was over $100 in fees and taxes. Some alone being $40. Save yourself the hassle and don’t go through this company.

You can not watch any live TV on Grande via your phone or ipad. They created an app at one point but it has not been updated in years and wont work. If you plan on watching any steaming service even Grande suggests its competitors. It states on their website to get Sling or Amazon Prime video. I would say stick with just the internet service but it goes offline daily. Grande Communications is TRASH 🗑UPDATE: 8.15.2020I received a response that told me to download a app that Tivo controls. Turns out that too does not work. Why would I get a response to try a different app with the same results? Grande confirmed they are GARBAGE! I would be ashamed to have to monitor their social media.

House to house salesmen promised lower prices than Spectrum and faster speeds. Too bad I can’t give 0 stars! The connection went in and out on my devices. 5G wasn’t very fast. Within a week, my first payment date email came and I saw that my new service would be higher than my Spectrum service. I cancelled within one week of installation. Fortunately, I never canceled the Spectrum in the first place.

Been with Grande for over 4 years. Had service and they called me one day to sell me better service. I bit and took the upgraded service. It was faster and for the just a little less than I was paying before. No mention of it being promotional pricing and that my service would jump by about 50% in 12 months. Also, was told that I would not have to pay for equipment. Been being billed for equipment all along. Seems like they do business by deception and lying. As I said, Ive been a customer for over 4 years but I am gonna start looking for a different company.

Ive been a Grande customer for at least five years, and been generally satisfied. Weve had a number of times when internet services were offline. Otherwise, five stars. I wanted to share a great experience with the staff at the Alamo Heights office. My family tends to overbuy, and cable service was no different. After realizing we had too much, I went to the Grande office. Nicole was able to modify my internet and cable bundle to save me a TON of $$$ without any real change in my services. Love it! Thanks!

Very disappointed. ...Not only in the frequent rate increases over the past five months but now the poor service. I’ve been a loyal customer for years. But now I am extremely disappointed. A so-called upgrade in equipment leaves me without Wi-fi in most of my house (technician disconnected my router extenders and “wasn’t trained” to get them working again). After promises that I would receive supervisor attention yesterday and today, I’ve received no attention at all. I was told that a trained tech would call to schedule a time to fix the problem, and then, no call... Very disappointing.

I just had a GREAT experience with Loretta. Weve had Grande since 2012 and finally decided to upgrade our Internet plan. Called over the weekend, installed our own router within minutes, and returned theirs today. I brought a copy of our latest statement / information and it was THE smoothest process Ive ever had with a Cable or Internet provider. Bravo, Grande!

Cancelled my service, was advised I would receive a refund within 10 business days. It is now been just over 3 weeks and still nothing. Any thought of me returning to Grande is now out the door. I would rather pay more with a company that is honest and does what they say. Be warned.

My internet went out again. They just told me they will help me TOMORROW. 🤨My internet was out for 6 hours this morning and this has happened several times before. When I call they say, Weve received several calls from your area, there is an outage and were working on it. This time it was only Ill send someone out tomorrow. When I asked: is this an areal issue, is this from the issue today, can you put in a request to flag this; crickets, NOTHING. Just, well send someone tomorrow.I have online classes, work, not to mention I pay for reliable service. But above all, I suggest, that if you dont want a company that cant help you for a day or so, then this isnt the company to give your money too.

I am paying grande for 1000mbps download speed every month and the highest I receive is 188mbps and as low as 9mbps. They’ve changed my modem 3 times to no avail. When I call customer service I get attitude when I’m only asking for what I’m paying for. What a POS company!!!!

First month free... then why was I charged $30 for having services for 11 days?!?! Exactly.Do not go with this company, go with a spectrum if you want something cheap and reliable and doesn’t just want your money!!Only channels available are the news and some movie channels, there’s no cartoon channels like Disney, Nickelodeon, or PBS Kids. As I was told there would be for my daughter only reason I kept it for so long is because of the WiFi at least that worked fine (at some point of the day) we were able to watch Netflix or Disney + (like I said sometimes!), rather than their so called cable that I paid $30 for... so disappointed.

Rude customer service rep. I’ve been a customer for over 10 years. I reached out to suggest that Grande offer faster upload speeds. “He says I’m customer service, not a complaint box” lol comical and infuriatingUpdate: Grande Internet service has gotten worse throughout Covid shutdowns. I went as far as getting a new modem and router on my own because they claim their service is always running “fine”. But it isn’t. I’m constantly lagging, and ping jumping all over the place / packet loss messages while gaming. Don’t get grande if you plan on playing online competitively.

Another reason to love Texas? Grande.Very reliable, incredible service, and a great price.I have Grande for Internet and $31/mo.?! Cant beat that.The day another provider at my complex severed my line and disconnected my box, I called Grande and they got someone out the next day. The two techs showed their badges, went right to work, showed me the problem, and fixed it very quickly -- all while being professional, courteous and friendly.Its refreshing considering the crap customer care from other providers. I highly recommend Grande.And Grande is Texas-based. When you immediately reach a human upon calling the 800 number... that person is in Texas. :)

I seriously hate grande. They are constantly raising my bill. They refuse to call me back. On their online chat, they leave me waiting forever now that Ive made a complaint.They say they notified me of the bill increase. But of course they hide it down at the bottom of a bill. They do not send a separate notification specifically about raising my rate. Im also on auto-pay, so they automatically started charging me more and just taking it out. I tried to look up the terms and conditions of auto-pay on their website to see if I had agreed to this by enrolling in auto-pay. I could not find it anywhere. I tried calling them and chatting online and asked for the terms and conditions of auto-pay. They answered my online chat, and as soon as I asked for the terms and conditions, they ignored me. I know this might not be different from other cable providers, but I did not have this experience with Comcast or Time Warner. Especially the being ignored and not being able to find their terms and conditions. Grande is the most unscrupulous company Ive ever dealt with. The fact that they hide the information, that they wont even share the terms and conditions with me is so dishonest. Im cancelling my service, because Im lucky enough to have other options where I live.

This is the only choice available at my apartment complex. Internet outages are somewhat frequent but the problem is usually addressed within 24 hrs. Jason from customer service is very knowledgeable and helpful. The technician Walter is very friendly and efficient. Give these guys a raise.

Unfortunately, the apartment complex Im at only works with grande communications. This company is a joke with rude staff. Internet outages every day and Im never able to watch videos or use my laptop. at this point Im just paying monthly for a service I cannot use.Their tech supoort is literally someone on the line asking you to unplug and plug in your devices. Not sure how they train their staff but quality and retention is not something this company l company values .

Price has increased every year at a ridiculous amount. In my fourth year I am being charged over $200 for fast internet and cable. Feels like extortion. Just got fiber and it is so much better and 1/3 the price.I am replying to the Response from the ownerThere is nothing you can do. I have already started using a new service and will never go back to Grande. I am currently working with friends and family that have Grande as well so that we can remove your services and they can use less expensive and more effective alternatives.

Absolutely the worst internet service I’ve had. We have to call technical support at least once a week to reset the modem. Why pay for faster speeds when you never know when you’re going to be able to use the service? Techs have been sent out but issues still exist. Will not have them much longer. Switching as soon as possible!

My husband and I have been with Grande for over 4 to 5 years now. A few months ago, I called into customer service and they advised me they would upgrade my speed for 1 year, for $10 less than what we were paying. Now, six months have passed and I received my bill and it increased by $15. I called in to ask why it increased, and they told me because they waved the modem rental fee of $13 for 6 months. I mentioned to them that they never told me that they were waiving that fee. I was told we were gonna pay $40 a month for one whole year with the modem and taxes included. Its only been 6 months and now my bill increased by $15. I escalated the call to a supervisor and shes now advising me that the bill is going up another $15 come February. The supervisor I spoke to said I was misinformed about the pricing for my account, she said it was a promotional pricing. I told her the rep never advised that it was just a short term promotion. She did not make ANY ATTEMPT to correct their error. The supervisor was unprofessional and did not make an effort to retain my business. It seems like they deceived me into increasing the speed to charge me a higher rate 6 months later. I will be cancelling my account with Grande, effective for September 30, 2019. What Im paying with Grande right now monthly just for internet, I could be paying almost the same amount with Spectrum for both internet and cable. I would not recommend Grande for any of their services. As u can verify for yourself, on the internet, the ratings for Grande are only 2.5.

I relocated to San Antonio just over a month ago and chose an internet/TV bundle with Grande, as my apartment was wired for it. Speaking to the professionalism and knowledge of the installer, the equipment and quality of internet and cable, I can say I’ve been really pleased...Then I received my first bill. Holy surcharges and fees, Batman! I understand that to offer no contracts for customers, there have to be added charges, and when I signed up, it said “plus applicable fees.” However, I had zero idea that I’d be looking at over $60 for taxes and fees alone on a $69 bundle!I’ve cancelled the TV part of my service, and of course (even though I’ve only been a customer for a few days over a month), I lose my new customer status and have to pay regular price for internet... My advice to future customers—be sure to call and have them clarify their fees ahead of time.

This company is terrible. Why do I even pay for this service when the internet is down or runs close to not even being able to stream a youtube video on 240p? I have spoken to multiple people over the phone and they say that they see my internet speed being unusually slow, but do they really do anything? I dont think so. I am definitely never going to use this service again once my contract is up. GO WITH ANYTHING ELSE BUT GRANDE. I am typing this review from my apartment business center as we speak because GRANDE INTERNET NEVER WORKS.

Awful service! Both customer and internet alike. If you must use this internet provider, as I had to because of my apartment building having a deal with them, Buy your own router. Your bill will jump at 6 months and the. Again at 12 months, without warning. Oh, BTW, in case you were wondering...yes, the internet is super slow and drops off randomly often. You’ll have to turn it off and wait a few minutes ever time it happens.....which is often, unfortunately.
