For the last year, I have received texts and emails about jobs irrelevant to my resume. Recently, they decided to change their name to Ascend Recruiting Services, which isnt even a registered business. I have texted, called, and emailed many times to be removed from their database. This comment will serve as the notice on the door that I will be contacting your corporate office as well as filing a formal complaint with the city of San Antonio.

Said they call me back never did lady in back right office wasn’t as friendly as she was before once she found out I had a few marks on my record told me that employer didn’t want me cus of it but my buddy that worked there got me a interview with Gm that she told me didn’t want me

I am writing this review on behalf of a friend formerly affiliated with this agency as to not jeopardize any future employment opportunities, but get information out there to anyone considering employment with this agency. Although certain individuals are nice, the companys professionalism as a whole is what is in question. One of the people in the office, Joan, has a rude and less than professional attitude. Also, do not expect to receive a call back after leaving messages or a reply after sending any emails. For a job seeker looking to support their family, communication is extremely important from the employer or agency they are representing, especially at this time (during the COVID-19 pandemic) as opportunities are scarce. My suggestion to my friend and any other job seekers would be to join a different staffing agency or be prepared to be treated like a pariah and left in the dark; a puppet waiting for your strings to be pulled while the office staff directly hired have peace of mind and secure employment. I have another friend that worked with a different agency, SNL Staffing, in a temp-to-hire situation and was permanently hired on with a great company that they have been with for over 3 years now. If youre job hunting, I would definitely give them a call!

I have worked with Joan at Advantage resourcing and I have to say she and Barbara are some of the best people to work with. Most staffing agencies expect you to call them everything few days to check to see if theres any work after advertising theyre hiring?! The staff here is both professional and courteous and are quick to fix payroll should there be an error. After all were only human, but overall they find work fast for you and also offer great small temp assignments til something more appropriate comes along. Increasing the chances of many people coming back because its all about making money to support our families. I like this place so far and look forward to working for them again. Not to mention the pay is great!!

This review is my experience with Mr. Brian Hickey, advantage resourcing franchise owner in San Antonio Texas. Mr. Hickey approached me about a position 3 hours from my home. It was certainly something I was interested in. However, I was dealing with a medical issue at the time and had to delay my start date, and this position would require me to uproot and rearrange my entire life for them, which they approached and recruited me for. So, I was willing to do so, even though it would be difficult to do in the time frame they had in mind. I had a physical scheduled the Friday before I was scheduled to start the following Monday. I had moved out of my apartment and packed my truck for the trip and headed to my physical. In a matter of hours, Mr. Hickey became so frustrated that my medical appointment did not fit in his time frame that he had wanted me to be finished by, he dropped me like a bad habit and moved on to another candidate, told me that it didnt make sense for me to move out to relocate even though it would be three hours away. So, Mr. Hickey, here for everyone to see, Id like to thank you for not once, but twice turning my life upside down and leaving an Honorably discharged United States Army Veteran homeless due to your impatience. Thanks so much!
