Just got my suits fixed, so happy! Great work. Let me tell you about this place I just found out, a friend of mine hooked me up, he actually made my day as the lady did a great job. Price is OK although I could have found cheaper though, anyway it was imperative for me to get the job done right, I gave it a shot and Im glad I did, I recommend this place. Cheers!

Some things are a little pricy, but the work she does is absolutely amazing. I had her turn a couple long sleeve shirts into short sleeve and you cant tell that it was supposed to be long sleeve. I also had her refasten a couple buttons and its holding up better than the manufacturers work. She does great workmanship. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience! My sister needed an alteration for a dance costume and Shin’s altered the costume to fit her body perfectly! From the start it was apparent we were working with experienced professionals. We are so impressed and thankful! Shin’s alterations is amazing!

Had sleeves on lined jacket shortened and they did great job. Price was good and it was ready when I picked it up. I dont mind driving from New Braunfels to take my major alterations to Shins. Met Shin and she was very pleasant. I have recommended this place to my friends.

I had two sets of OCP uniforms tailored to fit me (tops/bottoms & all patches sewed to include the cover). They look amazing and fit great. Very happy with the quality work. I took off one star as I think the $270 price tag was a bit steep.

In the past most of my clothing have been altered in  Department/clothing store where the merchandise was bought.Recently bought three pairs of pants from  Wish App  which were  delivered to the house  and  too long.  Took them to Shins Sewing & Alterations nearby in the Lookout Point shopping Center to shorten.  The owner  measured the trousers in her  Measurement room,  wrote out a  receipt for $32.48, which  was  prepaid with a credit card.  To me there was no rush.  We agreed on a pickup date which was one week from dropoff date.  More than satisfied   & happy with Shins alterations,   length of time to finish three pants, and price charged (roughly $10 per pair of pants or $5  per trouser leg).    Will use them  again, if needed and Recommend to others.

I’ve used them 3 times now, and I have been very pleased with the work they do each time. This is now my go-to spot, even after I moved further away.

They are awesome. She applied all of my name tapes on my uniform and took care of applying patches to my dress blue uniform and did a fantastic job. Price was awesome as well. Highly recommended.

I have used shin for alterations since 1998 she charged $ 45 for sleeves on a suit and$50 for sleeves on a coat $140+tax 151.12 dropped 4 suits this morning at Oak Park Cleaners for sleeves @ $21.96 each so 4 suits for almost half...and she insisted on Cash so she can cheat the IRS... Look elsewhere or be robbed..

Be prepared to salivate if you walk in at lunchtime and walk into the mouth-watering smells of home-made Korean cuisine. There are 2 wonderful ladies who are very friendly and always smiling :)Prices are cheaper than elsewhere in the city. I have had so many alterations done here, mostly shortening the length of pants or skirts or dresses. Their work is excellent. They do great work and are fast i would recommend to everyone living in the area! :)

Needed something sewn to wear in 3 hours...it was taken care of and done for me in 10 mins for a great price.

I lost about 40 lbs, so Im going through my closet right now to get all of my clothes altered to fit, rather than spending a fortune buying new ones. I take about 3 shirts a week and they have all come out great, even T-shirts! I love getting compliments about how well they fit. Will continue to go here from now on.

Excellent work! My bridesmaid dress fits perfectly! The shoulders were taken up and the midsection let out just a bit. The dress is quite comfortable now. I will definitely consider Shin’s for any future alterations!

Im at a loss for words here....dropped 2 pairs of pants off to be hemmed and tapered. I wasnt in a hurry for then, so the week it took them to get done was ok. I picked them up today, and the work that was done on the pants is very good, I was shocked when she gave me the total....$64.95, for 2 pairs of pants? Maybe Im not up on the latest alterations pricing, but that seems a bit much. Well, live and learn, right? But the staff was very professional and courteous.

They do good work but, i asked to have them hem my pants and i came out flooding.. Then i had to go back and pay for what they did. Not satisfied at all..

This alteration business is the only one I use. The owner and her staff are always friendly, helpful and they have a fast turn around time. The work they do lasts. I take my sons Taekwondo uniform here for his patches and they never fray or come lose. I highly recommend and they are reasonably priced. Support small businesses! 😊

They do an okay job but over priced for what it is. I wouldn’t come back for any alterations. They over charge for a brides dress because they supposedly have to remove and add to the dress when they didn’t have to, I regret taking my dress there. Shop around for better prices.

I bought a wedding dress and needed it altered within 1 week. They did a great job and it fit perfectly.

Had my suit jacket sleeves taken up as well as my pant inseam. Friendly, helpful, quality stitching, and personal conversation are all reasons I will come back every time I need something altered. Highly recommended.

Amazing! The prices are cheap compared to the other places Ive been. The owner is really sweet, she works to fit your schedule, she stayed open an hour later after her closing hours for me. I highly recommend her.

We took our son to have tuxedo pants tailored. She said she could only let waist out about 2 inches but insisted she thought the pants would fit with that alteration. I told her I didnt think that would give him room for a comfortable fit but she kept insisting that would fit him. At the time, we would have been able to get a different pair of pants for alteration, but we elected to trust her experience and the positive reviews. We were WRONG! When we picked up the pants, it became clear she didnt care if they fit. Seems she only wanted her fee. Needless to say, while the sewing is completed it is not helpful that the alterations resulted in pants that still do not fit.

Took my vest in for a zipper replacement. Didnt last a year. When I took it back last week she insisted that it was not her work and would not accept the responsibility for the poor product she used. I will never darken her doorstep again.
