I paid over $400 for work performed just have the chimney leak the following month. I called and setup 3-4 appointments over the next few months & each time the tech was a no call or show (with one exception when the technician broke his arm & could not do any call outs). I setup an appt thru their online booking system, rcvd an email confirmation - another no call/no show. I called them only to speak to a rep (Brianna) who told me the online booking system isnt functioning properly and they had no record of my appt.I had to email them the appt confirmation I rcvd from them as well as the invoice THEY sent me for prior work done before they would assist me. Its been 6 months and this has not been fixed and the soonest appt they would give me was 5 days away.I fully understand there are unavoidable circumstances (e.g. breaking an arm), but this is absurd. They came back out a second time and resealed an area. The following evening brought rain and my chimney is still leaking. I have texted the technician and Brianna and sent emails with video showing the leak is occurring & have rcvd no response.If you would like to see video of the water pouring feel free to let me know. Id be happy to send that to you. Ive included photos which do not fully show the extent of the issue. If this review can help one person avoid wasting their money with no results then its worth it. Choose wisely and proceed with caution.UPDATED- to include the invoice & copies of my CALL LOGS. The Tx Chimneys response to my review is alleging that I am a liar. They are claiming to provide accurate statements by insinuating that I only called in June. The call logs show I called on 04/29/20 & spoke to someone as the call lasted over a minute. They were a no show to the MAY appt. I set another appt in June. Call log shows they contacted me on 06/03 to cancel. I setup an appointment for June 16th - another no call no show. The last no call no show was in September after using their online booking system which they stated doesnt work properly.At no point did anyone from the company reach out to me by text or email after I sent them video evidence that the leak was still occurring earlier this week. The only response I received from them was to my Google Review post. So I doubt the sincerity behind their willingness to resolve the issue. Its posturing to protect their reviews in a public forum.

I used this company because of the excellent reviews and pictures of work previously performed. I had my chimney cap and chase replaced. When completed I had pictures taken and was not satisfied with results. Texan chimney technician came out again to deal with my concerns (I.e. poor caulking, chase not angled, black spots etc). He addressed my concerns and fixed the problems I identified. My major concern still is that the work looks sloppy (but who sees the top of your chimney anyway). As long as the birds and rain stay out, I am happy. I attached pictures of first round and finished product.

Great experience! Honest company with good customer service/communication. I would recommend this company. We contacted the company to inspect our chimney prior to use and quote us on needed repairs. The company contacted us when the technician was delayed due to weather and rescheduled for the same week. The technician called before arrival, was honest about the chimney not needing a repair or cleaning, and educated us on our chimney. We will definitely be using this company again in the future :)

I hired The Texan Chimney to fix a leak in my chimney after another company failed to repair it. The Texan Chimney did an AMAZING job. Their initial inspection was extremely comprehensive. Barack even climbed inside my wall via a wood storage door about 2ft tall to examine all the possible sources of the leak! The inspection took nearly an hour and I felt they went above and beyond looking for all possible ways water could be getting into my house. They did the fixes for me extremely quickly (the actual repair took only 2 hours or so) and though they missed a spot (that was hidden beneath some textured stone and was impossible to see from the outside) when I let them know, they IMMEDIATELY came back out to fix that spot with no questions asked. They are polite, fast, and their office worker is very nice too. If you are looking for a sign of who to hire, THIS IS YOUR SIGN! When I eventually am ready to sell my house and want to level my fireplace (it was crooked when I bought it) I will definitely be hiring them again!

The Texan Chimney technician was very helpful and honest with us. He told us we didnt need a whole firebox replacement like another company had said we did, we just had to replace some cracked panels. Overall the price was very competitive, and the technician was professional and efficient. Pretty sure they will be doing all our annual maintenance from now on!

The Technician showed up with helper and they been there on time, he did full inspection to the fireplace and he check the chimney from the roof too, he showed me everything I need to know and he fix everything i ask him to do, over all I’m very happy with the service.

Very professional technician, he replaced the panel in my chimney and he clean the flue, im very happy with the result.

They charged $175 to apply a little bit of special sealant to some cracks in the brick of my fireplace. A tube of this sealant runs about $7. When I called, the person on the phone says the cleaning costs $99. When the guy arrived, he said its $200. This place is a complete scam. Do not call this place. Take your business elsewhere. There are many other choices.
