Great, fast wash! I do get nervous when they ask us to get so close to the next car. I love the free vacuums. It would be nice if they had what Bee Clean has with the compressed air hoses at each station too. The site and even here says that this location has an automatic mat washer near the vacuums but I have been here a bunch of times and never seen one?! That would be awesome!!! The monthly subscription option is very convenient since it scans the plate or something automatically and you pretty much drive on through non stop. I actually signed up for the unlimited for something to do with the kids during the lockdown lol. But it would be cool if they had a 2 car option for $30 a month since $40 a month for two cars ($20 each) is just a bit of a stretch for our budget.

The facility is always clean and well maintained, there are a large number of vacuums to accommodate all the patrons. I frequent the facility often and the team is very efficient in managing large number of vehicles.

Love these people! Super friendly every time and thats why I drive 30 min for a shine. Had a small incident and they took care of it with a smile!

Does a great job washing the cars, dryers could do a little better but overall is a great car wash experience.

Excellent wash every time. I cant go to wash tub because my car is too low and my tires are too wide.

This place is a bit pricier than other places however the car wash tunnel does a pretty good job of cleaning the car. Every time I go to people are friendly not really overly friend Lisa but they are not rude either, they seem to be helpful if you ask them questions. I don’t like how close they tried to put you to the car in front of you when coming into the tunnel. Even when it’s slow but if you go in right after in the car they want To put you within 2 feet behind them. I am always afraid that the car in front is going to hit their brakes at the end of the tunnel. Also another negative would be that while vacuuming the car the vacuums will stop before I vacuum the whole car and I will have to stop what I’m doing and go to the front of the car to restart the vacuum. But other than that pretty good.

Always smooth and easy. Good quality equipment that gets my truck nice a sharp. The vacuums are powerful and well maintained. Price point is great as well.

The wash was decent, but I wish there was a little time before the next vehicle went behind you. I had a truck only inches behind my rear bumper the entire wash. Typical dodge owener lol!

This place says there open 7-7pm it’s a lie I’ve went several times before work and they give some excuse “Maintenance” waste of time and false advertisement, I’ll take my business to “Go carwash” on evans since I waste my gas coming here and there always closed… Update your hours online!!!

I put ok due to finding out that if you sign up for unlimited car washes they go by license plate. Other car washes give you a tag so you can use your unlimited car washes on multiple vehicles. I will say it does a great job washing my vehicle.

Great wash! Good price! Very nice facility! I just joined the monthly wash at this location and I am very impressed from other area cash wash so called competition. Vacuums are always working and the area is clean.

I really don’t like dealing with people and Tommy’s made it easy to sign up online and avoid contact with any employees. The wash is basically self serve with a monitor greeting you and directing you to enter the car wash. Vacuums are great and they even have vending machines that offer a package of cleaning supplies for cheap!

Im always surprised when I see how clean this automatic car wash gets our vehicles. I love this place.

Well, the place is emaculate and spotless but for the price I sure wish my car was. The wash is just okay, the wheels barely get touched and free vacuums are kinda annoying with their short timers frequently needing to be reset. The employees seem professional and seem to stick around for a minute which is a good sign.

My new truck came through without issues and pretty clean. Wish they had a detailed service to get it to 100 percent.

Car wash is fine had used it several times before until I was double charged by one of their cashiers and then I had to pretty much fight for weeks to get $9 refunded. The ‘manager’ at this location was unprofessional and extremely rude, made me feel like a liar over and over. Until someone at their corporate office was finally able to confirm that I had been right all along, got my money back. Needless to say will never be back.

Washed my truck here for about 6 months wasn’t the absolute best wash but with trucks it rarely is. This evening they told me I couldn’t wash my truck because there was dirt in the bed of the truck... There’s more dirt in a dirty car than in the back of my truck. I’ll now suggest Bee Clean right down the street to everyone in my area.

The Tommys club is a cost effective way to get a wash as often as youd like. Never a long wait. Washes are quite good. Not perfect drying off the rear of vehicles though. Very satisfied customer.

Wash your Tesla here, the conveyer is safe for your battery! Remember to turn off your auto wipers and practice putting car in neutral. I’ve been a member since they opened and have a van, Model X, and pickup that I wash here. They all get VERY CLEAN and have had no issues and staff is top notch.

I have a membership in Houston. We went to San Antonio for vacation and was able to use my membership at that location to get the bugs off my car. Really like being able to use it in different cities!

I dont know how they can tell which service you bought if everyone going through the car wash at the same time. It seems that its the same type of car wash no matter what you pay which is unfair. I bought a $15.00 car wash and seems as though I got the $7.00 car wash.

Best drivetheough car wash I have been to yet

Felt the price was pretty high for a drive it yourself carwash. Similar one in New Braunfels with same service level was only $7. We paid $12. Probably wont go back.

Never do they clean the machines brushes! Yeah this one may be cool with its unique conveyor system, but thats about it. The basic $7 wash will not get your vehicle cleaned. You must buy at least the $12 wash for ANY sort of results. The management team here @ Tommys sucks. Theyre arrogant and cynical. Yup.

Only a quick review because I just did a pull through wash and left, so not all the options were used. With that said, process was quick and easy, and because of their setup, is one of the few automatic car washes Ive found that I can take my dually through. Only big issue for me is that it is on the complete other end of town... Its a big city, they need to spread out some.

Went thru twice and still didnt get my wheels and tires clean

I get a consistent clean wash every time. Theres professional looking staff on site. The facility is clean and well kept and Ive noticed staff cleaning inside the tunnel throughout the day. Im also happy with the fact that they use my license plate instead of me having to put another sticker on my windshield. I just pull up and my plates are auto-scanned boom Im in. I enjoy having a clean vehicle and though I prefer to wash it my self i just dont have time to keep it clean as consistently as is like so this service is great to have.

I thought the timing of the actual car wash was too quick. The vacs r not very good on suction and the free buttons for vacs were loose.

For the price one would expect all the bugs to be removed from the front of the car and they were not. Not going back.

Says they accept trucks! Well not true! We have a BW Companion Hitch. So we were denied! I even asked before we drove the 10 miles in. Plus the website does NOT mention this anywhere I could find. Never out of all the car washes I have been to all over the country have I had this problem. To top it off they told us to back out. Which the backing is not the problem but all these cars are trying to get in is. Don’t worry they Do NOT come to help with the cars so we did it ourselves! So zero on the customer service for that.

Cleans the car pretty well, and offers Monthly plans for unlimited car washes during that month, definitely need that here with all the pollen we receive. Turns my blue car green. I opted for The Works plan for only $29, and get my car washed between 4-6 times a month. Other places charge between $10 - $14, for just a single wash.

The best thing about this place is the option to buy a membership and be able to pull up to the gate where their cameras recognize your registered car, raises the arm gate in 5 seconds to welcome you into the wash tunnel. There is a system that takes your car into the tunnel and after youre done, free vacuums are available for you to use to clean your mats and interior. Worth the price of a membership. Unlimited washes.

Easily the best car wash place in San Antonio. Out of the 5 I have tried, Tommy Express Is easily a 5-Star location. They even have a tire cleaner at the end during the drying process.

Best automated car wash. I am a monthly subscriber (all you can use) for two cars and this is the best in San Antonio. I seldom have to wait, clean establishment, helpful employees and cleans better than other car washes. Its not perfect but if you want that go to a hand wash and pay the price that goes with it.

Best car wash Ive ever been to! Love the convenience of the app and the ease of driving straight through with the monthly subscription. I can tell everyone here cares about the quality and care of the wash. Ive even noticed staff following my lifted vehicle to ensure the best wash possible. Definitely be coming back!

I paid for the most expensive subscription. After the first wash the entire back of my car was still dirty. I had it washed again and still left dirt that I could just wipe off with my finger. Used the wash twice more with the same results. Complained and told them it was not working each time. They said it just doesnt get some cars 100 percent. I have a normal mid sized car. I asked for a refund and they refused. Dont waste your money with this place.

No car wash will get your car perfectly clean, but this one comes the closest. Fast, convenient and a great location.Edit: Ive never had a bad experience at this car wash and today was great. Isaac, an employee here was walking by and a simple hello turned into Isaac taking the time to say hi to my son and telling him what a good job he was doing by helping his dad vacuum out the car. That really made my sons day. Thanks Isaac!!!

Extremely impressed with the service and how well it cleaned my truck. Most car washes dont get it as clean as this one did. The vacuum is free BONUS and so convenient.

Vacuums shut down. Check around quite a few places still have vacuums open with every other spot blocked off to help provide 6ft social distancing but not Tommys.

I usually go to Pirates Cove but decided to give Tommy’s a shot. Mistake! I now have a bent license plate and broken antenna mount.Save your money and go to the pirates cove, Tommy’s equipment damages your vehicle!

Friendly service. I love the app as you can just pull up without having to hang out of your car to deal with a kiosk. The free vacuums are great and they have a lot of them.

Got a great truck wash

Its an okay was place, I suppose. It was my first time, so I wanted to test it once before getting a monthly package. The wash seemed fine, so I circled back around to buy the package, but they said they had to charge me full price, instead of just the difference. Oh well, Ill find another place to wash.

For $12 its a pretty decent car wash & convenient.

We have 4 cars wash places near us. This is by far the best of the 4.

Doesnt offer interior cleaning like Bee clean does - however their drive through is way nicer and more updated. Cleans much better than other car washes around!

I have to say I am very surprised to see all these good reviews. I went here for the first time yesterday and got the best wash you can pay for and left there almost just as dirty as when I arrived. I recently came back from a small road trip and had dead bugs all over the front of my car and this wash hardly made a dent in them. Extremely disappointed and strongly suggest you take your money elsewhere!

It does not clean well, first time and last I went we had to go in the túnel twice.Looks like the side brushes are to far away and they barely touch the car... not cleaning correctly.After the second attempt I decided to call it a quit!!Took my car to the bee clean which does a better job.I would not recommend that car wash to my friends I will recommend Champion carwash or bee clean car wash.

Second time coming here staff is always solid and I’m very excited to have an auto carwash that can fit my Ram Dually truck. Haven’t ran it through with a whole bunch of dried on mud or anything but it always does the job and gets the truck very clean. Plus having the free vacuums is nice as well and they suck up all the dirt and debris with no issues. My truck hasn’t been this clean in a long time and I will definitely be coming here a few times a month so that makes getting the membership worth it. Don’t think there is anything I would change about my experiences here so far.

After going through the car wash I noticed scratches on the passenger side of my car. I notified the manager who denied it was possible for their mashines to scratch my car. I explained that my vehicle didn’t have the scratches before. He said he would take my phone number and write a report. I never heard back from him.

5/8/2018 EDIT: Once I gave it a try, it was pretty good. Everything was clean, vacuum was super strong, and the whole process was very convenient. I used Bee Clean Car Wash occasionally before. I think this place is good as Bee Clean. My car was clean front to back and even the rims were cleaned. One thing I see lacking is washing the top. Instead of using firm brushes, it uses long cloth looking drapes to clean the top. Those drapes didnt clean any of my cars bird poop stains. I still would visit this place occasionally and will consider monthly plans.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------4/21/2018 So far bad. I went there at 10am it was closed due to some technical difficulties. I asked when I should come back and one guy told me that it will be good to go at 12pm. I waited little longer and went there again at 7pm. They were still closed due to some other reason. I know this car wash shop opened on APR 20th Friday but should have prepared well to make sure everything works fine before opening the shop.

Very happy with service and car wash. The manger, Nicolaas takes pride in the service he provides and is a man with integrity. He made sure I was happy with the results of the works car wash I purchased, I am and will make it a point to go through Tommy’s express the next time I’m in Texas.

Dont go here if you have a pickup. Paid for the wash and then was told my bed was too dirty. Definitely not a pristine truck bed (it is used for work) but I had taken the time to sweep any loose debris. Was told it would take at least one business day to refund my money. I went to Bee Clean instead and wasnt told my bed was too dirty. Would give zero stars if possible. Customer service was awful.
