Scheduled with John after referred by friend. Very pleased with cut for my son. Scheduling online was easy. We both had to return to work and school after and he was running behind. So that pushed back our schedules which was a bummer but I’m happy with cut. He understood what I wanted and provided that service.

AMK was the best barber Ive ever been to. He took the time to talk with me about what I had in mind and how we can make my haircut uniquely mine. He took the time to train me on how to style my hair after cutting and how to blowdry it correctly, and even give me the specs on the haircut so I could get a similar cut on my travels. You can tell this dude loves what he does, and through his work, I felt a piece of that passion. 100% recommend.

All the barbers here are too notch. I use Chris Garza and the dude is a master. The atmosphere cant be beat either, Clipperhead is strictly heat IMO.

I had my haircut scheduled with Pepe, and even during this COVID mess he was able to create a clean and professional environment to get a great haircut. He asked me multiple questions to get the details of what kind of cut I wanted before he started. The conversations and environment was fun, and they even took care of my 4 year old boy by making him feel welcome and put an appropriate show on for him to watch. This place is great. Very relaxing atmosphere and good music (sometimes oldies, sometimes rock, sometimes chill music).I’ve only had my hair cut by Noah and recently had a beard trim. It came out awesome! He definitely takes his time and the results show it. There is always friendly conversation going on and you feel like your hanging with your buddies just shooting the breeze. This is definitely my new barber shop.

This was my first time going to this shop. My initial thoughts when walking in were all positive. Nice looking shop, great environment, friendly staff. My hair type is long, curly, and thick. I asked for a taper and for the sides to be brought down and 2 inches off the top. Proper layering for the top hair wasn’t done how it should have been and now my long hair is very uneven and won’t lay down as it should. Him rushing to eat was probably a factor. I am a barber as well so I know how cuts should be done. I asked to thin out the top but he completely forgot and said the cut was done. I was treated as just another person giving him my money and was forgot of. First thing I did when I got home was fix my own hair, or what could have been fixed. If going to this shop, make sure to tell them EXACTLY what u want and make sure they can do it!!

Was referred to this barber shop by a friend. Booked my appointment online which I suggested you do. Walked it and was greeted by staff and asked who I had an appointment with. Super friendly staff all were working on clients when I walked in. My barber was Chris Z. When he was ready for me we talked about how I want to cut and shape my beard and then he did his thing. I enjoy the whole process from start to finish and he did a great job on my beard. Well definitely be going back for sure.

I was SO GLAD to find this place! I’ve looked for a good barbershop for a long time, and I don’t know how I ever missed Clipperhead. It’s a cool vibe, cold beer, lots of barbers, and a GREAT cut and shave. This is where I will be going from now on. Andrea took excellent care of me and did exactly what I needed.

Clipperhead is the truth. Amazing attention to detail, solid prices, relaxed atmosphere, and good cold beer in the fridge. Nothing is rushed, Chris took his time and gave me the best cut and beard trim Ive ever had. The other guys in the shop were doing great work, too, Id feel confident with any one of them cutting my hair. Pepe is a master at his craft. I have difficult straight hair with cowlicks everywhere and he can easily make it do whatever I want. He knew I was under the weather and hooked me up with an essential oil infused hot towel. All the barbers are cool as hell and easy conversation flows in this barbershop. I’m super glad I found Clipperhead.

I’ve been coming here for years and always have been a loyal customer. Have always had a remarkable experience here. I made a mistake and accidentally booked the wrong day and was charged the full amount for a haircut, I booked an appointment for the next day under the assumption I wouldn’t have to pay anything else considering I already fully paid for the haircut. But no, instead I had to pay for two full haircuts because “I wasted their time” yesterday, and they “can’t to afford to take losses”. I’ve always been loyal to this place and this is my first time ever making a mistake in this fashion. Instead of trying to meet me halfway y’all decide to take full advantage of the situation. I feel betrayed and like my business means nothing. Even on your own website does it say missed appointments are only charged 50% for service price, not the full amount. Be consistent with your policies.

Nice atmosphere. Cool people. Maybe just me but my hair got jacked up. Fade is off, back kept getting cut higher and higher. Eddies did a better job then this place and I was in and out in 10 minutes there. Im gonna give it another try after to make sure this was a one time fluke.

Honestly, it’s hard to find decent barbers to get the right haircut in San Antonio. Walking in today for the first time, I was skeptical since they looked like a newer shop. As soon as I walked in it was that aura of Good Vibes Good Times. Haircuts were clean, establishment well kept, and will gladly return to get this hella fade. With it being my first time being there and Isiah taking his time to get it right, it’s for sure a must to return.

I was a walk in and they treated me professionally and hooked me up. The place has an old school vibe and theyre really friendly. They even squared me away with a new look. Definitely coming back and bringing all my bros.

Visting San Antonio needed a haircut, glad I chose this place. Saw how they had only 5 star reviews. Called in to see if they do neck and beard shaves and if they have male barbers (after 45min on the phone with different shops this was the only place that actually had male barbers). Experience was good from the time I called them all the way up to me walking out of there. They only had the shop open for a few months but the quality and the attention they put into giving you a haircut is amazing, Im very picky about how I get my haircut and usually have to give tips on how to cut my hair, this guy( Chris I think his name is,or Mario, not sure but both of them seemed great) he cut my hair without me having to say a thing. Walked out of there with maybe the best haircut I ever got and definitely the best service ( even offered me a drink on the way in).

Im new to SA and been to several barbers for a shave and beard trim. When I arrived on Saturday I found a very clean shop. I was greeted right away and offered a cold one. Before I could finish Mario was ready for me. Mario was very friendly and understood what I wanted . With flawless execution Mario had me out of the his chair with a crisp shave and edgeup.
