Great experience with alloy wheel repair, I took All 4 of my 2013 Cadillac CTS-V wheels to them for repair and color change. Very satisfied with the whole experience from the first conversation over the phone with front desk to talking over colors and choosing the right 1. Upon pickup wheels look great and the fixed rim is unnoticeable. I will update review with how the quality holds up, very happy customer and I will be recommending this establishment. (9/1/21)

Wonderful people that do amazing work. Saved me about $6K from having to replace 2 bent 22 wheels on my wifes Escalade. These are the upgraded 12 spoke factory wheels and now they are good as new. They were repaired as I waited and they showed me everything I wanted to see as they did it. Will definitely go there again for wheel repair.

They got me in first thing in the morning and were completely transparent about the issue with my wheel. Still fixed it to a point where there was more than a noticeable difference. Thank you for the fast and sincere customer service!

AVOID!!! Worst quality out there! This guy caused $1000+ damage to a high dollar Audi S8 wheels with his cheap low quality paint materials and lousy workmanship. Wheels got water veins all over after a rainy day. He made many excuses to blame his deficiency on the local carwash. Then he offered to redo the wheels for free; and then did NOT honor his own offer when we brought the car back to him... Exemplary for being unprofessional, dishonest and lousy.

Very friendly . And fixed my rim for $200 saving me thousands on new rims and custom paint and airbrush. As my rims are discontinued and impossible to replace along with the custom matching paint and airbrush on the rims . Also the rim repaired was was badly damaged multiple long cracks center bent and huge dent . At the end the wheel balanced on the tire machine, and zero to 80+ mph no vibrations at all . Awesome work . Going to bring the rest of my rims there to get repaired to true round soon ! Also told me 6 days to repair cus holiday and weekends but they got it done in 1 day . And painted the repair spot which they didnt even have to do but did anyways and didnt charge me extra

Straight forward, honest, quality work… worth the consideration for your businessAfter hitting numerous pot holes in this city, San Antonio, what can one expect? Yes, you guessed it, either purchase new 17” alloy car rims – yes that’s plural – for my 2008 mini cooper run flats at approx.. ~500 a piece, or, look at what else is available. After doing some research I found Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist. I called and Latrease answered the phone. She was pleasant, friendly, and informative. She provided the spectrum of pricing and I scheduled an appointment, highly recommended. Before allowing work, met the owner, Rodney, to discuss what I thought might be found. I explained each rim had various deep pitted curb rashes, and at least two were bent from pot holes. Rodney provided an assessment and reassurances, they would do their best. I was kept updated on the progress, and the issues they had to work through. When I picked up the car, I almost did not recognize the rims. I cannot say enough about Rodney, and his crew. He is definitely and honest, quality, oriented business man that will do as much as possible to make something work, and, if it won’t be possible, he’ll let you know versus just taking your money. In the end, I received my car, and receipt, and another place to send friends in a similar situation. These guys are down home friendly, and professional.Note, I’ve attached a before and after picture, albeit the before was from a few months ago, and has been cropped from an angled picture off my car.

Went here today to repair a wheel my dealership said was bent. I didnt think my car was riding rough until I rode it after the fix. I could tell the difference - ride was much smoother after the fix. The guys here were all nice and the one that fixed my tire explained the process before he did the work. I recommend this place and would definitely use them again!

Originally from Detroit, Michigan and was visiting a friend in San Antonio Texas for the week. As I was making a left turn I hit the median (which we usually do not have in Michigan) while driving my friends car! I had to pull over and change my tire. I immediately called Alloy wheel and she told me if it’s bent in the back bring it in (which it was). I brought it in and they had it completely fixed and looking like brand new in 2 hours for $150. Mind you when I called the dealership they told me a new rim would cost me around $450. Truly blessed to have found amazing people and professionals. I never write these reviews either but I was just so impressed on how happy and nice everybody was. From the front office worker, to all the tire specialists! God bless all of you and I highly recommend these guys! A+++

Rodney and crew saved us $565 because they were able to repair 3 bends on one rim (thanks to my wife). Dealers solution was a new rim for $690. It had a horrible wobble and now it drives exactly the same way it did when we drove it off the lot. Took us in the next morning and we were out within an hour. Very very pleasant to work with, highly recommended.

I was so impressed with the professionalism of the guys working on my wheels. Each guy in the shop worked hard to make sure that the job was done to his best ability. Looking at some of the other wheels in the shop the work these guys do is incredible. I strongly recommend this company if you have a bent wheel or need wheels refinished.

This is a top-notch operation that has a great staff whose only focus is customer satisfaction and producing outstanding results. I am still amazed at how the technician was able to restore my damaged aluminum wheel to its almost original condition—while I waited mind you!!! And, I think that the repair cost is very reasonable and fair; especially considering the quality of work the shop does. Aluminum wheels were standard equipment when I bought my car and I knew they could be easily damaged. I’ll never be a fan of aluminum wheels but I am very happy to know that this AWRS location can take care of business when needed. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing aluminum wheel work—it is truly outstanding place.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR WHEEL REPAIR.Rodney was very friendly and even offered a military discount to me which still had each wheel repair at $125/wheel. He repaired two wheels for me that were damaged in a pothole and powder-coated four others for me.The ones he powder-coated were done so poorly that when I pointed them out to him upon pickup he stated his assistant did them and he would redo them. I had no reason not to believe him so I let it happen. To his credit, he did them for me fairly quickly but when I went back to pick them up I noticed that they were not done properly. The paint was already fading and looked milky, an easy indicator of a poor job.Due to this experience, I never utilized the repaired wheels as I couldnt trust his workmanship. He advised that I use them only on the rear and that I do not go at high speeds...yeah, ok. Sure enough, I had them looked at again this week by a reputable shop in San Antonio--the same one contracted by Audi North Park and BMW San Antonio. They took a look at the wheels and were flabbergasted. It was immediately evident to them that the wheels had been heated only at the location of the dent and that they were shoddily banged out to look somewhat even to the naked eye. But when put on the machine, there were serious problems. Fortunately, they were able to fix them up for me within required specifications for me to use.Please look at my review history; Ive reviewed businesses in San Antonio and all of my reviews now have hundreds if not thousands of positive feedback...I am not one to hunt down businesses as I support local business. However...Rodney and his crew are CROOKS and could have caused very serious damage to my vehicle and threatened the safety of anyone I couldve driven should I have put those wheels back on my car.

I took my wheel here because discount tire told me that my wheel was bent (wobbling wheel while driving). Alloy wheel repair specialist charged me $250 but there was no change to the wobble. It turns out it was the tire and not the wheel itself. But these con artists gladly took the money and didnt even bother to even take the tire off because when I took the tire/wheel to Casias on Grissom rd they found glue inside the tire was the cause of the wobble. ALLOY WHEEL REPAIR SPECIALIST IS A SCAM. Dont believe these fake 5 star reviews.

Rodney and his crew did a great job restoring my 20+ year old Kinesis 3-piece wheels, as well as powder-coating the centers. Reassembly was tricky and they probably would have been justified at one point with telling me to go find a replacement wheel. Instead they spent the time to figure out how to make it all work. The wheels are solid and look great. It has only been a few days and I have received multiple compliments.

This location is very disappointing starting from the top Mr. Brisco. The work done at this place was so bad that I had to get my rims re-done at a real powder coating shop. In the meantime I was told by Mr. Brisco himself that he would be sending me a refund on Dec 27th. I decided to call him Feb. 18th. He answered the phone and once I said my name. He began a little ti-raid by bullying me and I nearly fell out of my chair when his next excuse to me was I am a Christian Man Not sure which church he goes too but at my Church they look down upon those who LIE. I have been awaiting my refund check for over two months now. I have multiple emails stating my refund was being sent. Proof this Christian man has flat out blatantly Lied to the customer. And never once has this man apologized for wasting my time, as though I should be grateful to him for letting him trash my rims. He then ended the conversation by saying he would call me the next day. Still waiting for that call.

Went today. January 24th 2020. Had a pleasant experience with the front desk person, didnt catch her name. Going well until an employee named Daniel got involved. Had an online quote last year. I came in to have someone take a look to see if I needed a complete remanufacture of my wheels or if maybe just resurface and refinish is all I need. I was trying to explain that to Daniel. He had no interest in hearing what I had to say and cut me off midsentence. He was very rude and came across hostile. I was quoted a price of $700 for the remanufacture and was weighing whether or not to refurbish or buy new. Looks like my decision was made lot easier. Alloy Wheel Service, you may be the best at what you do, but my experience will ensure I never will know. Everyone has a bad day, but you only get one chance at a first impression and Daniel ruined your business for me.

Rodney & Letrease Brisco and their crew did a good job on 1 wheel with 2 problems:(1) Cracked rim producing a very slow leak: Theri people cut out/ground out the cracked area resulting in an ~1/4 inch gap, then TIG welded the gap closed, in one of my 2000 ES300 special edition OEM aluminum wheels (no longer in production, nearly impossible to find used) plus they showed me what they found and were doing part way through, before complete,(2) Corrosion on inside of rim resulting in incomplete sealing of the Michelin Defender tire bead and a slow leak. They sanded down/smoothed the areas of mild diffuse corrosion (no clue why) within that same wheel rim, the surface against which the tubeless tire bead must seal.This was desirable and less expensive than replacing with a very mismatched wheel.Both of these issues were causing the otherwise good Michelin Defender tire, with over 50% tread left, on that wheel to loose about 10 lbs or air pressure per week (a pain to keep pulling the air compressor out of the trunk, connect to the battery and tire stem to prevent rapid tire wear and destruction.Total service time, including their work for other customers, was about 1.5 hours.Their service was completed aboutOne problem: They and I forgot to return the special OEM wheel lug nut adapter and they did not call me.Luckily I discovered the error several days later and mentally reconstruction where the missing lug nut adapter might be, I returned to them, they opened a drawer of owners items which allowed me to immediately spot the lug nut adapter which had not been returned.

Took my truck in to get 4 rims powder coated. Had a hard time getting in contact with the owner to get my truck back. Overall was not a very pleasant experience. When I got my truck back one tire was leaking air overnight and the sensor would not work that reports the tire pressure to the computer. Took to 4 wheel parts to troubleshoot and they said the tire is cracked. Maybe not the guys fault but all I know is it didnt leak before he touched it. ... Questionable. He should call people back or make arrangement to have someone else call back and tell when your vehicle will be ready. $70k truck and no return phone?

Amazing service. My insurance MAG referred me to this place & let me tell you their customer service is amazing.I accidentally missed my scheduled appt and they still took me in the same day & got both my rims fixed in an hour time frame. Now with that being said please don’t miss your appt I’m sure I was just lucky maybe there was a cancellation idk but please don’t miss your appt but I just had to mention that very kind gesture that they did to take me in the same day. I posted my before and after on my social media and so many people asked me where I got my rims fixed they were as impressed as I was with the finished result! Their honesty saved me some money!

They fixed 3 of my wheels with curb damage. They sprayed matte paint on the glossy parts which dont match the other wheels. 3 months in and the paint are starting to peel off. They didnt even give any receipts so I cannot prove that their shop did it.

Unfortunately after spending over 2 hours talking with the staff while they repaired my rims (great end job on that btw). As my tires were being put back in it was pointed out that I had an issue with one of my tires that risked me having a blowout. So I replace my tire while having my care serviced at my mechanic where it was pointed out that yet another tire was faulty. I had 0 issues with any of my tires until I went to have the rims fixed it was pointed out that to much air was put into the tire causing it to separate creating a bulge. So not only do I spend $570 to fix my times I end up spend it over $800 for the additional tires and instillation. I do not recommend this establishment. Due to the error of paying attention whilst uninstalling and installing tires on your vehicle they aren’t accountable and will let you leave with issues that can risk your car being damage or you finding an extra issue after the fact.

Alloy Wheel Repair Specialist repaired a bent inner lip on my 2014 Ram 8-lug aluminum rim and did an outstanding repair that was cheaper than ordering a new rim! Staff is very friendly and will take care of your bent or curb rash rim!!

Charged 25 dollars for a kid that didnt look older than 16 to take my wheel off with a jack/tireiron and place it on a balancer machine. Was then told the rim could not be repaired and that any other ones to check would cost additional 25 dollars a wheel. Literally 5 minutes of labor. Paid and got the hell out of there. (Owner said my rim was a stock infinitti chrome rim, completely wrong and looked nothing like any of the manufacturers rims.)
