Will not be returning back. Very disappointed with the guy that sits up front taking work orders and taking payment. He is very rude and when I asked him a couple of questions he acted as if he had no knowledge of what I was asking talking about. This is my second time having work done to one of my vehicles here. I spent almost $ 2000 in repairs with both visits combined. They do good work on vehicles and dont take long but customer service was a bad experience.

Burt is truly the last of the honest mechanics. Ok I know I may get a lot of hate but thats ok. I am 58 and after years of dealing with various auto mechanics, finding Burt to help me with my vehicle was like finding the holy grail. Ok, maybe thats a bit overstating but seriously. He is friendly (not in the hey I pretend I care and like you but really want to make as much money off you kind of way) Hes down to earth and will tell you what is wrong with your vehicle and often doesnt charge to take the time to look.My 2010 Chevy Traverse since well 2010 started acting her age. I took to another place and they said I needed close to $7000.00 plus in repairs. Oy Vey!!! I took it to Burt and he gave me a scale of 1 to 10 of what is really needed fixing and what I can live with. Hows that for a honest mechanic.Anyway I finally had the last issue to expensive so I traded in old betsy. If you need to have you vehicle looked at, then trust this place. Their whole staff is friendly and honest.

There isnt a better auto repair facility. Honest, upfront, and will not try to trick you into repairs you dont need. Cant tell you how many times I have brought in my car for a noise or a check engine light and they diagnose it and tell me its not something they recommend fixing or they couldnt find an issue. Honestly thats the best thing about them. They are honest. Ive been taking my cars here for over 20 years and Ive never been disappointed.

This was Dec 2020, very close to Christmas time. I had to get brakes replaced for my 2017 Toyota Rav4. Reading all the rave reviews, I decided to call Hollywood Park Auto regarding the brake job. Bert picked up the phone and quoted me $260 per axle for the brakes. I think this is rather very expensive. and this only includes the brake pads, no new rotors. When asked about the high price Bert was rather rude and hung up on me. Bad customer service.

My family has six cars and we have been going to them for years. They are honest and priced very competitively. Family owned. Support small business owners!

Ive got 2 old trucks & a Fiat. Things break regularly so Im a frequent flyer at HP Automotive. They are the best shop Ive ever worked with because they are honest and reasonably priced. I dropped my truck off a week ago & thought it was going to be an expensive problem & it ended up being a simple repair that cost $85. Ive had several cases like this with their shop. That makes it easy for me to trust them when I actually have a more expensive repair.

I completely understand the rave reviews. Took my car here when the thick plastic undercarriage of the car had gotten damaged and was dragging. Within 10 minutes they fixed the issue and didn’t charge. Will definitely use this place again in the future. Nice honest staff that are courteous.

I will always bring my car to this service station. Super honest and reasonable with the pricing. Anytime the dealership told me that there something wrong with my car I take it to Hollywood Park automotive and they fix whatever needs to be fixed for a very reasonable price which is usually a fraction of what the dealership wants. The owner has owned the gas station in the automotive center for years. He is super friendly and very nice. You can tell he cares about his patrons. Can’t say enough good things about them at Hollywood Park Automotive!!!

Talked to Kyle over the phone, professional guy, while unloading a customers vehicle, the owner of Hollywood Park Auto approaches me while Im unloading the vehicle, he was not wearing a mask, and got upset when I requested for him to stay back please, because he was not wearing a mask, Safety for others and myself is important during this pandemic crisis, when I called back inside Kyle was upset because of what happened with his boss and myself, I explained to Kyle, Ill interact with your staff, if they are wearing masks, if not please stay back

Ive taken two vehicles here to get maintenance and even on a busy day they seem to get to my car fast. One took two days and the other one day. Speedy service that no other shop can beat.

I’ve been going to Hollywood Automotive for about 6-7 years now for all of my auto repairs and have NEVER had an issue with them. It’s a good honest business and the owner Bert and all of his employees are wonderful. Work is always done in a timely matter. They only do repairs on what is necessary, never try to scam by saying other repairs need work. Pricing is resonable, customer service is excellent. And more times than not, I have gotten my car back the same day. Sometimes within 3-4 hours even when they are extremely busy. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Highly recommend for your automotive repairs!!!!!!

Took cars there for inspection, and they were helpful and efficient both times. They went the extra mile, opening a stuck hood and checking my oil (since the hood was stuck I couldnt) and didnt charge extra. Im impressed and will be going back when we need repairs.

Learned about the shop and staff from a customer of 14 years when we moved back to Texas. Reasonable repair prices and they only perform NECESSARY repair work! Best customer service no matter how busy their day. Work is completed to customers satisfaction!

I happen to know a good mechanic, as the old cliché goes ... Burt Thompson and his team at Hollywood Park Automotive have been taking care of my familys vehicles for more than 20 years. Honest, competent, quick, no-nonsense work. Not necessarily cheap, but they have never done anything that wasnt absolutely needed - and Ive left there plenty of times where there was just a small adjustment or something needed and there was no charge. I could not recommend anybody higher!

Outstanding in a field where that does not always occur. We have been taking all of our cars to Bert and the crew at Hollywood Park Automotive and I will tell you it is harder to find a more honest and professional mechanic shop. He is truly concerned with the safety and care of his customers. They are fair and honest on their prices,,,not always the lowest but always one of the best.

Very friendly staff working here at this gas station mechanic shop. I dont think Id recommend going back here since they didnt fix my car on the first time. For professional mechanics they should have easily been able to spot a giant hole in a hose, which I didnt find out was the actual problem until I took my car to a better trustable place that texted me a pic of the hole. Hollywood park replaced a part and said they did some other stuff but who knows if they really did it or not since there was no pic taken of all the excess oil they claim they saw. Again, I question their integrity knowing they have $5K scan computer tools telling them whats going on with the car, etc.Also when I got my car back I noticed the radio had been messed with, taken off of cd function, and even the channel had been changed. Why would the radio need to be turned on if youre test driving it to listen for noises? Not professional at all for $120 an hour for labor. The warranty on the work is pointless if you have to take it back a 2nd time because it wasnt properly resolved on the first visit. Sorry, cant recommend this place. Still not as bad as thousand oaks automotive though!

Not always the lowest cost but I have learned it is not always a function of the guy who will do a repair cheaper- Some highly specialized repairs on my high end German car are outside their experience but they are quick to say so- If I need an opinion- I go to Bert-

Our Honda Pilot was making a noise when we would turn. I thought a stabilizer arm bushing had gone bad. Took it in expecting to have it replaced. After having the car for 3 hours, they called and said that they couldnt find the source of the noise but they torqued everything down and if it continued to bring it back. They charged us NOTHING for 3 hours of work and we havent heard the noise since. I have never left a mechanic shop owing nothing. We will definitely be using these guys in the future.
