This company is amazing! They do great work from start to end to provide clear directions, communication and service for your moving needs. I worked with Candice their operations person weeks in advance and she got me several quotes pending my needs for my in town move. She was easy to reach by phone or email when I had questions. She got me all set up with movers, truck, timeline, pricing etc. No surprises at all, everything was made clear for me. I got 3 movers for 2 hours to move me from my loft to my new house in town and it was just me helping the 3 of them. In 2 hours we had all my stuff packed up and loaded and dropped at the house and my storage unit. Evan, Danny and Rene were all amazing movers working quickly but carefully with all my items. I never felt like anything was not being cared for or handled properly. They asked me many times where things go to be sure it got loaded correctly for offloading. They were easy to work with and quick to stay within my 2 hour time limit so I would not have to pay for more time. In the end my move got done fast without issue at a price I felt was very fare. You cannot go wrong with this company as your first choice for moving in Tom Green County.

I rolled in to town with a 26’ Uhaul I needed to unload, I called the day before and coordinated the unload….they were there promptly and took care of it.The next week, I had 2 trucks I needed to unload into storage. On short notice, Candice made it work. The guys were very professional and work hard.Everyone at Lone Star Moving made a very stressful situation (moving) a breeze for us. I highly recommend them.

Hired to help move aging/disabled parents. They were a no call no show. After calling them to see where they were we were told they had another move to take care of. We had booked them 6 weeks prior to our move. Had to call them three times to find out the status and then was told we were being pushed off later. Our time is valuable too....I would not recommend this company. Rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful of others time.

EARTH ANGELS WITH WINGS!!!!On the 23rd of November, I hired this company to move my big items. It only took 40 minutes for them to load my big items. I so I also rented a U Haul. I am disabled 52 years old and it was just me and my daughter loading up the U Haul. These gentlemen, Mr Kurtis, Mr Luis and Mr Danny, took it upon themselves to load up the you haul for me, they went beyond to help me, I thank God for those earth angels that day, what would have taken me 3 days to move. These gentlemen did it in 3 hours. I recommend this company. They are The Moving Earth Angels with Wings.
Do not use this company. I hired Lonestar Moving Company/Apartment Mover to help me move from a downstairs apartment to an upstairs apartment.They were late getting started, they dragged mine and my children’s mattresses on the ground, they scratched the paint on the hallway wall of my new apartment, they broke not only my daughter’s bed but also my son’s nightstand and at the end of a very stressful move, I had to call them to come back because they left with several of my items still in the back of their truck.
Your money is better spent elsewhere.
We hired Lone Star Moving/Angelo Apartment Movers to help move my daughter from one apartment (second floor) to another apartment a couple of buildings down (also second floor). We had everything packed and furniture disassembled before they arrived, so it only took them 38 minutes to clear everything out of the first apartment and another hour and 15 minutes to get it all moved into the new apartment. The guys were amazing - two of them could carry her dresser (it took 4 of us to get it up the stairs in the first place!). The guys were friendly and funny and we really enjoyed the moving experience! If we ever have to move her again (hopefully NOT soon!), we will definitely be calling Lone Star Moving/Angelo Apartment Movers!
Buster and Andrew were amazing. They were professional and fast. They moved me from the DFW area to San Angelo. They made sure that I was moved in one day instead of taking 2 days. Not only that, but a huge storm moved in as soon as we were unloading the truck. They didnt complain and continued to work hard to get my things inside without it getting wet. They were very polite and worked hard. It must have been a long and arduous day but they never complained and never shirked their responsibility. I highly recommend this company and if youre lucky enough to get Buster and Andrew, you wont be disappointed!
Buster and Adam assisted us with a full service move across states. These 2 men are extremely hard-working, reliable, efficient, professional and trustworthy. They truly treated our prized possessions as their own. We were quite impressed with their overall abilities and experience in the moving industry. I highly recommend their services to all.

Ive used Lone Star Movers on several occasions and have always been impressed with them. Their prices are better than much of the competition, and they offer that personalized service that you only get with a local company. We had one item damaged in our most recent move, and Rey was very professional in getting the item replaced. I couldnt recommend Lone Star Movers enough.

This is a long overdue review for services provided in August and September 2019.Angelo West Branch Library underwent light renovations in August and September 2019. This required every item in our collection (totaling roughly 34,000 items) and every piece of furniture and shelving to be packed or disassembled, moved out of the building into on-site storage during the renovations; then, after the renovations, moved back into the building, and the shelving reassembled, so our collection could be unpacked and re-shelved.This was obviously a huge undertaking, and not something any of the library staff had experience with. Curtis, Colin, and Ray provided us with advice every step of the way, which allowed us to create a plan that (hopefully) made things easier for all parties involved. They were incredibly patient, kind, and helpful to the at times overwhelmed and stressed library staff. We had a lot of questions and concerns, and their support was appreciated.We were provided with stacks upon stacks of plastic bins to pack our books, DVDs, and audiobooks in. This was such a huge help to us, as they were much easier to pack and move than the alternative (which was cardboard banana boxes).When it came time to start moving everything, we were impressed at how quickly the team worked. Both the move out and move back in were completed much quicker than we anticipated, which kept us ahead of schedule.Unfortunately, we can’t remember everyone’s names, as there were a lot of people coming and going, but a BIG thanks to everyone who was here working, even for just a day or two. Richard and Buster especially! Richard was here all day, every day, sometimes late into the evening, during both the move out and move back in. Buster also pulled long hours doing disassembly/reassembly of our many shelving units. Everyone was friendly and professional, and they all worked incredibly hard.As with every large project, there were some hiccups here and there, but it could have been much worse without the team we were working with. Curtis and Colin checked in often to make sure everything was going OK, and offered solutions to any problems encountered.All of us here at Angelo West Branch are incredibly thankful for all the hard work!

I recently transferred from San Angelo, TX, to Atlanta, GA, and needed to get three quotes for my company. I called the big names first. Some of them said they were too busy and couldnt get to our job within the needed timeframe. Those who did come and give me a quote were nice but ended up being $3,000 more than the quote from Lone Star. Nick Ohman was my primary contact and was the one who did the office and home estimate. Ray was in charge of the packing and was the driver of the truck that brought my stuff to Atlanta. At every step of the move, Nick and Ray were first class in communication and accommodation. They did a wonderful job in packing and our good arrived in very good shape. The real story begins, though with the journey that Ray took from San Angelo to Atlanta. Ray had to drive through storms that ended up in Louisiana becoming a disaster area because of flooding. As he drove through rising waters and rerouted around impassable areas, he maintained contact to update us on his ETA. Amazingly, he arrived on the day he was supposed to have done, though a little exhausted from the difficulty of the drive.I cant recommend Lone Star Moving/Angelo Apartment Movers highly enough. They went well above and beyond the call of duty and did so at a price significantly less than others were bidding. Thanks Nick and Ray for the great service!
We used Lone Star moving this past summer for a move to Weatherford and unfortunately had a terrible experience. We had them pack all of our things, load and transport to Weatherford then unload into a storage unit. Everyone we talked to and work with were very nice but almost all of our furniture was damaged in some way during transit. We have a large wooden bed and other pieces damaged that we had specifically asked to be wrapped because they had sentimental value. When our shipment arrived almost every piece of wood furniture had rub marks on it from the trailer and not one thing had been properly wrapped as well as rub marks on our leather chair and rust marks on our mattress from it being sat directly on the moving truck floor. After calling several times they did send a furniture repair company and they did the best they could but some of the damage was not able to be fixed because the wood was splintered or deeply dented.On top of all of the furniture damage our safe was handled so rough that it fired the relocker in the door. We had to hire a locksmith to drill and open the safe which cost over $300.One of the most upsetting things is we found an empty beer can among our things which we can only assume came from the drivers who were delivering our things. When I tried to reach Nick by phone and e-mail to let him know about this I did not receive a response.I do not like to give poor reviews but after the experience we had and how many things were damaged and ruined from poor packing I felt like we needed to let others know.
