This is the place I go once or twice a month to get my animals food and supplies. I have cats and birds. The bird toy selection is very sparse so I have to get those elsewhere. The cat food and cat supplies is very well-stocked and I never have a problem finding what I need or want. The employees are not always friendly Or helpful.

There is a guy with a ponytail and full arm tattoos here (no name tag) that was so kind and knowledgeable while I was getting things for a sick puppy. He really knew his stuff and was so helpful with questions that may have seemed not bright from a first time pet owner, didnt make me feel silly at all and said come back if I need more help. 10/10 great customer service.

Although the store was busy due to our arrival during the end of rush hour, we were able to find exactly what we were looking for.The store was clean and organized.The staff friendly and ready to help.Check out was a breeze with my Tap To Pay credit card as I stood on the other side of the plexiglass divider from the clerk.Not happy about yall swallowing the blue pill with mask rules, but I got my kitties their treats. And that is what matters most to me.

I took my goldendoodle to get groomed and paid for the most expensive package. When I came in to pick her up, she started whining for me which she never does. I found out after taking her home that she had several cuts on her ear, underbelly, and all of her paws.

Bought Iams puppy dog food and a new lead for my wifes puppy. Good customer service.

I usually love coming here to get something for my pets, but this time I really didnt. I was going to buy a couple of fish but Meagan had no desire to help me with looking for fish whatsoever. She just wanted to go chitchat with the other employees. So Petsmart, please hire people who actually has the desire to help customers.Edit: And I couldnt get a close look at the fish because everyone has to be 6ft away from the fish. 🤡I decided to go to Petco and the employees there are WAY more helpful than yall. And no one had to stand 6ft away from the fish!

It is the only store in town that carries the food we need for our dogs. Plus one of the dogs loves going there. He always picks out his own toy then does not let go until he gets home with it. Most of the employees there know him by name and if he does not go with us they ask about him.

My precious black lab went for wash and furminator (hair shedding treatment. When I picked her up I was surprised at the huge bandana that was tied around her neck. I thought it was so thoughtful to add such a colorful bandana until I got home as nd took it off to find a huge 4 inch X2 inch bloody RAW spot on her neck!!! They never said s word about the injury and I know they saw it and covered it with this large bandana around her neck when I picked her up!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER TAKE ANY OF MY PRECIOUS AS ANIMALS TO PETSMART FOR GROOMING OF THE ANY KIND!!! I AM STILL IN SHOCK AT THE INJURY AND THEIR DECEPTION/ATTEMPT TO HIDE IT FROM ME AT PICK-UP. UNBELIEVABLE AND DISHONEST.

This Petsmart has always done a wonderful job grooming my dogs. The staff are kind and conscientious.

They dont groom cats but at least they answered the phone when I called. Petco didnt answer and never called me back.

They are always so careful with my older Shih Tzu. Aymie is a terrific groomer and very sensitive to needs of dogs!

My card was charged twice for $47.61 - for the same visit on Jan 26, 2021. I have called the store multiple times and made multiple visits to have the error corrected. I was only helped by one associate but she couldnt refund the second charge as she wasnt a manager. Every time I go in to speak to a manager there is never one on duty. This has been so frustrating and unprofessional. I honestly hate saying this but Ill be taking my business to Chewy. I doubt I will ever get the money back ...

Yesterday they ruined my dogs beautiful and shinny coat !! I was shocked when I see him !! They made a schnauzer look on my yorkie !!!! Never again !! Higher price for that service what a shame !

Petsmart is an outstanding place to take your K9, feline or to obtain items for them as well as exotic animals. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the store doesnt smell like a stock pen and all items are well marked and accessible.Tou can find just about every item for your domestic friend as well as things for exotic or not so domestic buddies.

I have a 3lb yorkie cant get in to get her groomed, you would figure she was a saint bernard!!!🐶

Took my two Schnauzers for a bath and clip. Should be close cut and no curls on tail, back, butt or top of head. For the price I paid for them, I should have not had to go behind the groomer to clean up the curls on the tail, ears, and butt. The cut was choppy everywhere especially the ears, doesnt look not very professional. First time, I took them here, I had to come back after having them there for 3 hours to get their tail and rear end cleaned up and shaved down. I take them to a groomer and pay $$$$$ to get them groomed..... I shouldnt have to fix the the professionals hatchet job.

The thing that gets me is that when you enter a chain store like PetSmart you are supposed to see the shelves filled and not small notices that they are out of stock. They have good prices z some variety but man they areas of opportunity with their inventory. Almost 4 stars this time.

Usual pet store with what you need. Best one in town

PetSmart is a good option when you are looking to pick up those pet supplies you need right away that you would ordinarily order online (for less $) because they will price match Chewy (which the same company owns) and their own website. Cashiers may or may not be fully educated on this policy depending on the location and the specific cashier - we learned about the price matching with Chewy from a cashier, and later about matching their own website from another, and then still another cashier believed that only their own site and not Chewy would be matched. So it can be a little needlessly awkward at times, but still worth the trip when youre in need. Or just when you want to see some cute potential pets!

Got a cute beta for my son along with the tank and food.

If I need any kind of specialty pet stuff this is where I go. Pet foods a little on the more expensive side but I can get a lot of stuff I cant other places. On The grooming side maybe not the best place to town.

Took my Golden Retriever there a few weeks ago. They did an okay job, cut her hair way too short in several places & unevenly at that. I was going to return with her and be much more specific about the cut. However I took my Siberian Husky there today for a bath and brushing & they freaking shaved him. How do professional groomers not know that you never shave a Husky ? And no one stopped and thought about that? They shaved his under carriage area & upper thigh, which they didn’t even do a good job since it’s lopsided & looks like they nicked him. They also shaved part of his butt. I don’t know where they learned to groom, but neither of my dogs will be going back to this store EVER again.

Staff can be short and kinda rude

The employee working in the fish area was extremely rude and would not help me with my purchase. She then told me that I better make up my mind on what I want because theyre closing in 30 minutes. Will never go back there.

The guy at the fish counter was extremely rude. With every fish - at least ten to 12- that my son asked me to get, he shot me down and told me that I didn’t need or couldn’t have that fish for one reason or another...too aggressive, need a bigger tank, etc. I even stated multiple times that I didn’t mind buying a larger tank. I didn’t ask for his opinion either! He just gave it! The guy obviously doesn’t want to sell the fish. Once I buy the fish, it’s up to me to see to it that it is taken care of appropriately! Not only that, but there were multiple dead fish floating around the tanks, so I don’t feel like he is in any position to give advice. He went to get an equally rude manager because HE was frustrated with me not taking his unwarranted advice! Terrible experience!

Asked them to order more Purina Pro Plan for puppies as I could never find enough in their store in San Angelo to take advantage of their offer buy so many for whatever price. I was told their inventory is ordered br computer and that there was nothing that could be done about the shortage. I now get my dog food from Amazon shipped in for free and it’s cheaper than the deals offered by Pets Mart. This store needs to do some customers satisfaction training with its staff! They have a very take it or leave it attitude. I asked about pig ears the other day and was told if we carry them they will be nearest the front of the store. Couldn’t even say if they carried them.

Great staff, friendly people, prices are a little high. A good thing is they do have pet products you cant find at walmart. Tiny goldfish there are 16 cents a piece.
