I am a very loyal Lowes customer. Today I was disappointed in the customer service I received. Not one of 3 employees came to ask if we needed anything and avoided eye contact. I finally pushed the service button and a young lady came to help.. I was prepared to buy $3370 of appliances, when I asked if they would price match one of the appliances (-$100) she said no. I explained I could get the same appliances down the street for a $3270. She said okay.. I took my business down the street..
Lowes seems to be my #1 place for my lawn and garden as well hardware needs simply because its the closest to where I live. However my main grip and why the three stars is because you cant find anything at least not in the San Angelo store. Yes I have the Lowes app on my phone but thats the point. In using the store map to locate items most often its not even close. And trying to find someone to help you is nearly impossible and even then they dont know most of the time with the common answer Weve been moving stuff around OK I get that however if your going to move things around physically how hard is it to have someone sit down and change the location on a keyboard within their store app ?
Customer service and helpfulness on product information is absolutely terrible here. Only reason I came was to color match paint that came from this store. Paint department was absolutely rude because I interrupted Her from stocking her shelf. Asked about product information absolutely offered no information and demanded I pick out a paint brand but refused to answer any questions when asked. This is why I’m reminded why I hate coming to this storeBrought paint home and had to mix more because she didn’t let it mix properly just the best customer service
The lawn and garden manager not very good customer service asked for a discount on the last oak tree roots showing was willing to take anything didnt offer head cashier offer 10 %, but manager said no really sad love plants buy from you all the time after today not so much really sad. Poor tree will die now,all this bought from you guys, let me know if you guys are willing to help and give good customer service, thank you joe Bewick.
First delivery of goods in San Angelo from Lowes. Roy and Clint were the delivery men who delivered a large refrigerator as well as a washer and dryer. Although I had limited interaction with Clint, Roy was very cautious in moving in all three appliances and, with the assistance of Clint, was able to ensure delivery with no damage to the items or my home. Roy was able to give us an introduction into the fridge and give sound cleaning and maintenance recommendations. Both men were courteous and a outstanding example of what deliverymen should strive to achieve.Would order store delivery again.
Almost always good service and usually find what I need
Have what I need and good prices. Would be 5 stars if had a few more of the people to help you find and if less clutter in walkways. They are very helpful but during busy times, its hard to find someone and you have to wander around looking for them. And the kiosks hanging off the regular shelves and in the aisles make it hard to quickly search or even get around sometimes.
The worst place to get a toilet installed. We paid but still havent had it installed and it has been 6 wks. no calls we had to do all the calling . They made an appointment for 16 of Sept. did not call us. If I had not called still would not know. Cant find out time on 16 th am on hold now. sorry experience.
I always have fun in the garden section at Lowes. I can usually find something unique.

I went into Lowe’s this morning to purchase a car battery charger shown on internet with 2 instore. Had the picture on my phone. Gentleman mark that out, man at counter in tools told me they did not have any, never looked up from his counter said battery charges on island 17by spray oil products. I came home an order it off internet. No problem . Pickup this afternoon. It is now 7pm, I have been on hold for 27minutes( just mad enough to do that) they seem not to be able to find the product. Will get back with me tomorrow. No problem, I will buy on at Walmart in the morning.
This a great place to go if you enjoy anything building or creating. One of the diys dream.
Their carpet cutting device has been broken for several weeks Absolutely no idea when it would be fixed so I requested my money back . I was very disappointed especially since I have to wait for the refund to hit the bank. 😞
The pros are they usually have things in stock and they have good prices. The checkout is fairly fast if you have to use a checkout line. Do not go here unless you plan on loading and unloading yourself. Several store employees saw us loading and pushing a very heavy cart in the store and no one offered to help. We are fairly elderly and a very nice gentleman got out of his truck in the parking lot and helped us unload.
Curb side employee could be a little nicer and not slam my door.
The store is nice and employees are helpful you can find what you need easily and the prices are better than at some other home improvement stores
We waited for almost an hour in the appliances section with absolutely no service, we stood with several other families waiting patiently. When an employee was asked for help we were told it wasnt his section. Other employees wouldnt make eye contact and rushed by. We finally just went to the customer service desk where ayoung lady named Anna was awesome! The manager said she had 3 employees working in that section but they were all busy because it was a holiday. 🤷♀️ It took almost two hours to purchase a washer and dryer but at least they have people like Anna working there. When we left there were still families waiting to be helped.

Great place to go to look for just about anything. Bought a really nice bbq pit there cant wait to break it in. Oh and had 3 guys offer to load it up for me so very helpful staff there.
I paid for fence pickets and was told they would load them up in the garden area. I asked 3 times to make sure this was correct. They said yes. I waited there for 20 mins and was told they don’t load there. I was directed to the back of the lumber area and waited there fir 30 mins and called the lumber/building materials dept 3 times. I finally pulled around to the front of the store and 6 employees were just standing around a forklift just jaw jacking. Whoever the store manager is needs to get it together.

Only 3 electronic carts available and they never hold a charge. I went through all 3 today and never finished my shopping. This is terrible for those of us who are handicap. As a veteran I am losing my love for Lowes. 😡

I had an absolutely terrible experience Sunday1/31/01 at this store with Shawn Lawfler in the Lumber Department. Terrible customer service. Rude and the most arrogant attitude. Upset me to the point I paidmy balance and closed my Pros account down that minute. I went down the street, set up all a new account at Home Depot. I will also be setting one up at City Lumber. I will NEVER set foot in another Lowes again because of this rude individual!!! This employee needs a lot of training before dealing directly with customers. Word to the Store Manager Hire Smart... Or Fire Often . This guy just cost you a lot of money.

Watch for clearance/specials. I got a great garden flag with post for $4.UPDATE: On hold for 45 minutes with customer service. What a joke! Bought Kobalt electric mower for $199. less than a year ago. It paid for itself in one summer. Wonderful product. Have issue with wheel. Went to Lowes with original receipt. Customer service sent me to the mower department. This employee gave me the 1-800 # to the manufacturer of the Kobalt mower. I told both of these employees that Lowes manufactures the Kobalt mower. I Googled it. They both disagreed with me. The mower department employee wrote the 1-800# to the manufacturer on my receipt. I called the number and it was a direct number to Lowes. I was on hold 45 minutes. Lowes employees would benefit from knowing where their products are manufactured. Go to ACE Hardware.
The store is well keep. I do not recommend online orders they are not handled with professionalism. Some younger employees are snarky and unhelpful.
With the restructuring of the company as a whole over the last decade or two, Lowes drops a couple stars. While the still have almost everything you can imagine, they have dropped dramatically in customer service. If youre needing help, you might have a hard time finding anybody because their staff is less than a skeleton crew. Even if you press a call button that they have in various locations around the store and which is supposed to summon help, you have a better chance of that thing timing out than you do getting help. Checking out is horrible too. Either you must check yourself out or youre going to wait in a line with 10 people in it because they only have one actual checker checking people out at a time. Lowes used to open up additional registers if a single line had more than 3 customers in it, but those days seem long gone.
Well stocked by was surprised they did not have a common tool even the dollar stores carry.
The folks who work there are not even remotely helpful. I was very dissatisfied and will not be going back.

Once you find someone to help you they either dont know the answer or tell you to come back another time when someone can help you. Went back on 4 separate days to try and get set up for custom blinds, each time being more frustrating than the last. It always seems chaotic in there and no one really knows anything about any of the products or services.

Went to the store today to buy a fridge. The people were extremely rude! No one in appliances so I pushed the help button. It went off three times and a young man who worked there came over and looked at me then turned the help button off and walked off. Then a female associate came up and took the person behind me in line completely skipping me. I went to customer service to tell them of the horrible experience and all the young lady said was “umm ok.” Will not shop there again. Ever.

Terrible customer service. On a Sun. p.m. over a dozen customers seeking assistance in appliances and plumbing and NO ONE to help. Four young women in Customer Service were clueless. Having remodeled old houses for years the San Ang. Lowes is the worst of all Ive ever dealt with. For years virtually every every experience with that store is maddening. Not the employees fault but poor management. Pitiful!!!

I’ve purchased 3 appliances in 2 weeks from this location and every time they come to deliver I find that I don’t have some kind of plug, cord or vent. Train your appliance sales people from start to finish. It’s not that hard people to ensure that customers are helped in a timely manner it took over an hour before someone even asked me if I needed help. So to not have all the parts at delivery is beyond frustrating.
I went to Lowes to purchase a dryer. We waited in appliances for 30 minutes; we pressed the service button to summon someone for help; we waited another 20 minutes yet no one came. The next day I called to speak with someone still wanting to purchase, I was placed on hold for 11 minutes and then someone hung up on me. I called back to speak with a manager, she took down my information and said someone will call me back, no one ever did. Since Lowes obviously dont want my business, I went to Home Depot and purchased the dryer. From now on, I will only go to Home Depot.
Conflicted review, Orlando in Plumbing very helpful in assisting in collecting merchandise for our 2 bath remodels. Inquired about getting 12 months financing instead of the current 6 months and SM Ski came up very aggravated with an apparent attitude ( visible through mask even) and proceeded to say he would not do it, it is an additional store expense and he wont take it. Not for me or anyone else. A conversational tone and discussion of not doing the 12 months would of been fine, instead poor attitude and customer relation by SM Ski leads to dollars going elsewhere.

RURAL BUYERS BEWARE! I purchased a Maytag Washer/ Dryer set with a Protection Plan. I live on a Ranch that’s 43 miles from the nearest town & have major trouble finding repairmen that will come out for anything. Lowe’s assured me that would not be a problem, IF THEY CAN’T FIND SOMEONE TO REPAIR IT WITHIN 2 WEEKS, THEY WILL REPLACE IT. My Dryer quit drying August 10. I called Lowe’s, they set up a service call for August 12. The service company contacted me for directions to my home & learning exactly where I live, informed me they do not travel over 60 miles to service and I am 110 miles, so they would be unable to keep the appointment. I called Lowes back and received a notification that a Service Tier 3 company said they could come September 18..... only 5 weeks from the date my dryer quit working. After explaining that I am 43 miles from a laundry mat and that date would not work, I was offered $50 for laundry mat expense and told September 18 was the best they could do. I cancelled the appointment and will replace it myself at my own expense. I have other appliances from Lowe’s & now realize it was a huge mistake to purchase from them. Never again!!!
Bought a dishwasher that was on sale and sad to say the person working in appliances had very little knowledge of this dishwasher.....well dishwasher broke down after the first wash so we took it back on the last day of the 30 day guarantee. NO ONE WANTED TO HELP US SWITCH OUT THE DISHWASHER!! There were two female employees at customer service and just because it was the of day, they shrugged their shoulders and said awww thats too bad your 30 guarantee is over as of right now. They were more preoccupied on leaving at 5 for the day than just calling someone from the back to make a simple exchange.....sad!

Just about everything you could want is either inhouse or can be ordered to the store fairly quickly. If you can find an assistant, their pretty knowledgeable about where things are. I use the app now myself.
Dont the thing in stock have order I no that you can have everything in the store.

Went Lowes San Angelo to buy a new dryer. Looked at the different models and decided on one we liked. Pushed button to get help and no one came. We kept waiting and waiting, finally talked to an employee who said he would page someone for us. No one ever came. Frustrated we left and went to Home Depot. They had the same one, same price but showed us one that had a slight dent for a lower price. Bought it and they loaded it for me. Ill shop Home Depot from now on.
Their customer service is getting a little better, but one employee I asked for help today tried to help but he passed me on to someone else.

VERY BAD! !!! We left very upset without purchasing a refrigerator that we intended to pay it all in Ca$h. When we started the transaction the employee asked for our phone number and it pulled up our daughters name with our address, she hasnt lived with us for 6 years, we then informed the employee that my husband wanted his name to show on the purchase and not our daughters name. The employee told us that we would have to go to customer service to change the name, we then went to customer service and that employee told us that they could not change it and that the employee that helped us with the refrigerator shouldve been able to do it, so my husband got very upset and we left without making our purchase. I dont think we were in the wrong wanting the purchase and paperwork showing our name on it and not our daughters name. We are still upset about the whole situation, we were trying to give yall some business but now my husband says we will be going elsewhere to buy a refrigerator.

I went with my bosses to get a gas can and a spark plug. It had a very different atmosphere from the store I remember. Its been awhile, but I do remember there being a pro in every section making sure everyone was getting what they need. I was there 30 min wishing I could find someone who knew anything besides what time they get off. Customer service phone line kept us on hold until we gave up 3x. Im almost tempted to put 3 stars solely because of the amazing inventory but sadly they truly left me feeling 1 or less.

I went to buy a refrigerator. The 1st young man that helped me was delightful. Then a young lady came up that could help me apply for a Lowes credit card and was extremely rude. After taking my information she told me they would send me an application. When I asked why she said I dont know. Locked the register and walked away. I went to Customer Service and did the Application. Paid for the refrigerator and left with a grateful heart for the Customer Service lady, and a sad feeling for the Appliance lady s rudeness. I am apprehensive about the refrigerator delivery and installation based on the Appliance girls lack of customer Service.

Poor customer service. Ordered a washer and dryer with 3 year warranty young lady at appliances said it shouldn’t take no more than 2 weeks for items to get here and will be be delivered. After multiple calls and over month waiting still no washer and dryer .I went in store and management said appliances came in but both got damaged somehow and I would have to wait an additional 2 more weeks or more for my appliances .I mentioned why didn’t they give me that info when I called before so I could cancel and purchase somewhere else. I then canceled items but for some reason they couldn’t refund me extended warranties that i purchased because it had been over a month and that I would have to call Lowes protection for refund. I called and waited 15 to 20 min just to cancel warranties and now I see my numbers are not matching up with refunds.This has been a total waste of time and management did nothing to try to make things right..Id be embarrassed if I treated any of my clients this way..

If you are looking to purchase a refrigerator and need it now..lowes is the place. They keep refrigerators in stock as opposed to their main competitor who orders them as people buy them which makes for a wait of up to 3 weeks on some products!
