I contacted customer service and told them I wouldnt be in until 9pm and wanted to change my pickup day, they insisted that the Budget pickup location would still be open. It definitely was not open when I got in, and when I talked with your representative the next day they mentioned that you guys do this all the time and just tell customers whatever sounds nice at the time. You need to be more in touch with people who are actually working the counters at your location and you need to actually tell people the truth, even if that means doing extra research and even disappointing customers with the answer because straight up LYING to a customer is not good customer service.
The staff were really nice, the rental requested was upgraded due to availability and that was greatly appreciated. However, the vehicle was dirty with several stains and scratches to the inside and out. The noted smoking signs was irrelevant because the seats were riddled with burns abs marks through out.
Car so far is great!! Customer Service was well he had none!!! Sad these days people dont think thats important! He didnt even show us how to us the car or go over anything with us at all! Not even when to turn it in. I had to ask as I was walking out. 😏😏😏😒😒😒😒😒

First let me qualify my remarks by stating that the gentleman assisting us was tremendous. Although he was under a lot of stress due to terrible cold weather and snow/ice conditions in the past few days in San Angelo, he was very professional and courteous. He explained that the record cold had burst pipes that prevented Budget from properly cleaning and washing the cars. We understood and took our assigned vehicle anyway, as we had no real other choice, and used the vehicle for the next 4 days without a single issue. 0 points for cleanliness and 9 to 10 in all other categories. 5 stars for the professional agent who assisted us!

Car was absolutely disgusting when we picked it up. Upon complaining, Zak tried another car and they all were disgusting. Filthy inside and out, stunk, and this vehicle was supposed to be in a processional! The owner/manager was supposed to call me to discuss and its now been 6 days...
We were charged $300 dollarsore because the airlines changed our flight time. The car had trash in the trunk, lint all over the seats and stuff marks in the vinyl inside the car. The back up camera stayed on for a quarter mile going forward. But they have you no matter what as there is only 2 places to get a car at the airport.
Car dirty when picked up no manual regarding how to handle gadgets. Car cruise did not consistently work
Budget trucks dont have cruise control and are uncomfortable. Budget rental cars are not mechanically stable and if theres an issue they try to blame the renter even if its an issue that has to be from problems over time. Also last time I attempted to rent a car they let me pay online only to demand almost 400 more dollars at the rental place and then took over a week to return the money to my card. The return was allegedly supposed to take 3-5 business days but took at least 8 week days (not counting sat and sun) would NOT recommend!
1st car that we were given was dirty inside and out. It also smelled like smoke. 2nd car was not clean inside or out. We found trash from previous renter. Location is clearly not following Budget’s Worry-Free Promise.

Rental closes before the last flight that I was on. I was able to get a transport to my destination.
The clerks at the counter were very courteous and friendly. It was a smooth and easy process to book online and to pick up my car.
Upon returning the rental vehicle fully fueled, they proceeded to charge my card on file $83 for fuel. When calling the representative to inquire about the charges, he was extremely rude, hostile, and completely unprofessional.

The car smelled very strongly of marijuana. Windshield was all hazed over. Windshield fluid ran out after the first use. We had to purchase air fresheners and febreeze so our daughter didn’t smell like weed when we took back to the Air Force base.
Easy check in and drop off. San Angelo is very small but the lady was very nice and fast. Drop off was easy - just put the envelope in a drop box (we were very early).Downfall - car was not cleaned inside. Other than that it was great.
Outstanding service from Holly Seals with the San Angelo, TX Budget team. Holly was filling in from her Abilene, TX office ... but went out of her way to accommodate my travel request. Also, Steve the evening Manager in San Angelo was of great assistance too!

I spoke to a customer service rep prior to scheduling rental, they told me I could pay for rental with insurance and only needed my insurance information at the front desk. My husband went in to pick up the rental and he asked about going through the insurance company the man said “no we don’t do any of that” and swiped our card anyway putting a hold on my card of almost 900 dollars. Didn’t even explain the charge and ask if my husband still wanted to go through with the transaction first. We ended up not taking the rental and are still waiting for our money to be taken off hold. It has already been 2-3 business days. I am very displeased with the lack of customer service and misinformation on the part of the company.
Stated allowed to use debit card but they so soft credit check & still wanted use of credit card. Enterprise I had no issues. Used my debit card without any problems. Will not even try to rent a car at the airport. Enterprise also comes pick you up, takes you to your car & when you get back, they take you home & now will get my only business& my word of mouth referrals
We were stranded due to a car accident that total my vehicle a deer run in to it, with all the concers at that moment Budget rental Cars was the only one who helped us with no issues so Thank You 😀

Terrible was going to rent a car so that I could go to Temple for medical treatment. The man who was working the desk was so rude and treated us like an inconvenience. Website said that you could use a debit card but then ran a credit check and refused to rent to us. My mother’s friend offered to pay for it and put my mom as a second driver and the man said no because he knows my moms credit was bad. He was so smug about it as well. Will never ever do business with this company again. Y’all should be ashamed of your employees. And I will ensure to tell everyone I know to avoid this place as well. Side note when I mentioned this to friends they agreed they dealt with the same man and he was rude to them as well. Guess they like losing business because of bad attitudes 💁
Rented a car from Budget for a recent business trip. Experience at Mathis Field was positive. No hassle, fast processing. Car functioned without any difficulty, and it was a breeze to return the vehicle. Budget honored a AARP discount, making it a good financial choice to rent.

They gave me this car, totally fithly. Stains, Hair and food all over the seat? Reeks of smoke? Gross. When I asked for a new one the guy who cleans them laughed as if it was ridiculous I would expect a clean car. Whomever is working today, Wednesday 25th 2018 at 6pm needs a training on how to prep a car and proper customer service.
