We rented a van with them last year and had an amazing experience! We drove from SLC to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. We absolutely loved the flexibility it provided. The van set up is super optimized as well, with lots of storage space. The pump sink was great to have for cleaning dishes at the end of the night. Mattress was super cozy. We had our stove die on us while we were out and about, purchased new one on the go and got refunded by Lost Campers at the end of the trip. Be sure to check out their free shelf before heading out on your trip to take advantage of items folks left behind from their trips. Will definitely be renting with them again in the future for an Arizona trip!
My husband and I rented the Sierra Class van for a 7 day trip from SLC up through Idaho, Montana, and down through Yellowstone/Grand Tetons. The lost camper van was integral to our amazing trip - the flexibility of driving our temporary home around was great because we could go where we wanted when we wanted. We did bring a tent for the nights we felt like being outdoors. The van did well on gravel roads and mountains and the bed was very comfortable and warm. The supplies included almost everything we needed to cook and relax. I highly recommend getting the van with the sink! It would have been extremely challenging to not have access to water for dishes, tooth brushing, etc. Lastly, the staff was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. If youre considering a camping road trip adventure - go with Lost Campers. Cant recommend highly enough!
Love the unlimited miles, very rare to find this. Had a great contactless check in and check out. Van does the trick for a camping weekend!
This is our fifth campervan rental and first with Lost Campers. Amazing value (other SLC rentals were 2x to 3x the price!) and completely met our needs. We rented the Sierra Class. Kitchen in the back is convenient, duffel storage is accessible without folding the bed, foam bed is extraordinarily comfortable, staff super efficient and friendly. Can’t recommend enough. Per other reviews, bring a small cutting board otherwise everything you could need is provided. If staying around the Salt Lake City area, recommend you get weekend campsite reservations. On weekdays we had no problem finding walk up campground spots. Remember to bring your American The Beautiful Pass for the federal forests.
We took a van in august 2019 to explore Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier NP. The whole experience was great from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend Lost Campers and will rent there again when I come back to Utah!
Rented a campervan in San Francisco and drove it for 35 days with my wife. What a great way to travel! We cooked and slept for free most nights. Dropped off in Salt Lake City, Utah. The staff were helpful and uncomplicated. Prices were not cheap, but van was great, no ads on the side, no hassle. Highly recommend them!
Our experience with Lost Campers totally exceeded our expectations. We had the camper for 11 days and traveled around Utah and a bit of Arizona. Camper travel is our favorite way of getting from point A to point B. The flexibility, the freedom... its incomparable! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind, and we never had an issue with the van. Highly recommend these guys.
We absolutely loved the van and the flexibility it gave us to change plans on the fly and to stop and take naps while youre en route something you cant really do with hotels . We estimate it saved us almost 2K in hotel fees for our two week trip. Loved having a sink if for nothing else to wash our hands and the bed was comfortable and private. We purchased a sunscreen shield to make it even more private from the front for $3. The key is to always find showers before nighttime (RV parks and truck stops are usually $12 to shower but some campsites allow you to use their coin showers which cost around $2 for 8 minutes) .so that you get into the bedding clean. Despite being big and spacious the van drove like a car.
We took one of Lost Campers vans for a two week trip up through the Grand Teton and Yellowstone national parks, and I couldnt be happier with the quality of the service we received and the product itself. I have never used a camper van before and my son was camping alongside, so it was kind of a novel experience, but it turned out perfectly. We got unpacking and packing down to a fine art, so that we were able to get early starts so as to secure great sites in the national park camping grounds, and then get started early each day to see the animals and thermal sites before the crowds arrived. The van was perfect for us, and I would thoroughly recommend this approach to anyone seeking flexibility. And Lost Campers were great - booking all this from Australia meant I got a couple of dates mixed up, but they were terrific about changing things around, and the guy in their Salt Lake City office was really knew his stuff - a very pleasant group to deal with....
Incredible experience. Very friendly staff. We rented the Sierra Van and spent 2 weeks traveling and it was very comfortable with me and my wife. The sink and cooking set up in the back were very handy. It had everything we needed including a couple chairs and table. Van was very dependable and well taken care of. If youre looking for a low budget adventure then this is the company for you. Dont miss out on this experience! Thanks Lost Campers!!
My wife and I rented a lost camper van for 2 weeks to tour national parks. Overall we found the van to meet our needs for luggage space, ease of travel, and ease of sleeping. We left the bed essentially in the sleep ready position for our entire trip.Pros: staff was excellent to work with before and during our rental (had a rock chip that they helped us get fixed easily), rental car and lodging in one for about half the price of RV rental. We camped for free on at least 5 nights, because we did not need an official campsite for a tent within the park. Averaged 22-23 mpg over 3000+ miles of mixed elevations and speeds. Food prep supplies and sink are handy to be able to cook and clean anywhere. Comfortable mattress.Cons: having to move the front seats all the way forward to have the bed lay flat. Some components were outdated or in very used condition (one curtain did not fit, broken cooler, seat ripped, dash cracked) Inconvenient to access storage with bed in sleeping position. Mattress could be a little short for people over 6 feet tall.Sum: cheaper alternative to other camper vans and with high functionality, recommended for budget savvy vacationers who want a little more comfort than tent camping but who dont want to drive or pay for a bigger RV.
I fell in love with our van, Sweeney. Hes a sweet and hefty ride. We explored and drove comfortably. The staff member that saw us on our way was very efficient and we were on our way soon. Comfortable ride and comfortable bed. Cant wait to plan my next getaway with Lost Campers.
My girlfriend and I rented a Sierra glass (Grand Caravan) for a week. We did a lap around Utah and Arizona national parks. It was a great week. Easy to setup bed, comfortable sleeping. Nice kitchen setup. We loved our trip. Nice to have a normal minivan. Much nicer to drive and manoeuvre around than a big RV
We rented from Lost Campers for a 10 day trip though Yellowstone and the surrounding area with 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 14). Each of the vans is given a name, ours was Joanna. Shes been around the block a few times, but worked great. Its very important to not bring hard luggage. We had duffel luggage and it worked well. They provided four chairs, dishes, pots and pan as well as a grill and a cooler. There is a sink in the back, which does take up space. We brought a backpacking tent for the boys to sleep in and that worked fine. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a co-op shelf that is very handy for some essentials. Salt, Pepper, some propane, bear spray, tin foil, trash bags. Its going to be hit or miss whats there, but thats what we returned. We had a great time.
My wife and I have always wanted to go through the National Parks in a camper van, but the timing added the twist that we needed to do this with a four month old. With that we needed a camper van that could support an infant car seat. Lost campers had the perfect solution and offered the camper van we needed. The service was excellent and we visited the parks for fifteen days with our son. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank You Lost Campers SLC :)
We rented the roof top tent version and had so much fun on our road trip! We slept inside when it was crazy cold in Yellowstone, but up in the tent for the rest. Great support team and very helpful customer service. If you are picking up your rental in Salt Lake, be advised that the office is in a nondescript grey building. Hopefully Lost Campers will be installing a bigger sign soon. We would definitely rent from these folks again. Now go get lost!
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation because of Lost Campers. We thought their camper non-perishable exchange shelf was so neat and found it so convenient that we were able to pick up some essentials we couldnt bring on an airplane without having to waste precious vacation time finding a store. The van had great storage and road very comfortably. We were also very impressed with Lost Campers pricing. Overall fantastic experience- we hope to enjoy another adventure with them soon!
The trip was wonderful and I would love to do a similar trip again, although the van was disappointing. We routinely saw the vans of similar companies and they are all superior, both in design and quality. But, they all cost more, so its a get what you pay for kind of deal.Pros: Most importantly, van did not break down, no flat tires or serious mechanical issues. The bed was relatively comfortable and the stove and dishes were good. Very affordable.Cons: Van was pretty beat up and a few little things were off: AC fan rattled, engine light turned on after two days, transmission was real sluggish and would jolt the car when it was trying to find the right gear to climb a hill. The fold-out mattress/table was not very well designed. There was very little easily accessible space for organizing clothes, gear, etc and it was very easy for things to get unorganized in the back, even with just two people. A few simple additions like drawers/compartments, or just better use of the space under the wooden frame for clothes/items/gear would have made a huge difference. If youre on a budget, I would recommend since the van didnt have any serious troubles and nothing was bad enough to really distract from the fun. If you have a bigger budget, we were always jealous of the other vans we saw during our trip.
We had great great time in the Yellowstone thanks to the van. I do a lot of mountaineering and we are used to travel light, a big RV is not my thing + its really cheaper.Once we had mastered the art of setting up the roof tent we could do it with my kids in less then 5 min (clocked). Though I would advise to do it once on the parking lot before leaving especially if you plan to arrive late at your first destination.
We had six adults ans rented Lila and Darrin for a week in SLC and had a blast. We visited numerous state parks, national monuments, and national parks and we were comfortable the entire trip. The beds were easy to make and comfortable. The kitchens served us well. It was comforting to know we had everything we needed with us at all times and could camp anywhere. I highly recommend this company and this way of travel.
Amazing service, care and a great customer experience, I highly recommend Lost Campers! They were able to help accommodate our every need and made our experience traveling through Utahs national parks a dream. I cannot recommend this company enough!Great service. Great price. Great staff. A+
This was a very different kind of vacation for us, and overall Im glad we did it, but it was not perfect.Staff was friendly and responsive, and the shelf full of others leftovers was nice to have access to, especially the bear spray! We broke down the table into the bed once, and just left the bed out the rest of the time. The storage area was difficult to access like this though. DO NOT RENT IF YOU ARE OVER 6 FEET TALL! I am right at 6 feet, and found it uncomfortable to be unable to stretch out. The front curtain was just Jerry-rigged....an obvious way to clip in would have been nice.We only desired to use the awning once, but could not get the snap undone to unroll it. Our van was Joanna, and the window control buttons were sporadically unresponsive.Wish the dish kit was organized in some way rather than just a tub of loose stuff. Could have used a kettle of some sort to heat water for coffee rather than just a pot. The table was very convenient. Not sure well do this again, but overall we enjoyed the experience.
We had the experience of a lifetime with Lost Campers! Weve wanted to do a 2-week roadtrip through Wyoming, Montana and Idaho for quite some time, but it has been tough to plan since we live in Boston. We werent keen on flying with our camping equipment, nor did we want to have to rent a car and then rent our equipment from a different company; it was expensive and too much of a hassle. RVs were always an option, but neither of us had experience towing a trailer, nor did we like the price tag of the larger rentals. Lost Campers provided us with the convenience of a car rental, camping equipment and accommodations for at least half of what we would have paid anywhere else. The vans are very well-maintained, fully stocked with everything we needed and comfortable to drive. We got compliments from multiple people throughout our trip who were impressed with the efficiency of the setup. We were thrilled with the customer service we received, and found the whole experience to be seamless. We plan to do another road trip with Lost Campers at some point in the next year or two and drive south to Moab, Zion, Grand Arches etc. I highly recommend Lost Campers to anyone who loves road trips, camping, hiking and loves a little adventure!
We really enjoyed our camper van for our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. They had everything packed in the van that we needed for a fun camping vacation! The vans are well used, so dont expect a brand new van, but they are well kept and was perfect for our needs. The staff was excellent and so friendly to deal with! We loved that there was a shelf of extrasfrom other campers that we could borrow or use during our trip--partially used propane tanks, some left over food (unopened), bug spray, but importantly-bear spray--extremely expensive if you had to buy new. Thanks Lost Campers for a fun vacation!
I rented full-size RVs 4 times in the past from other companies, and have never had a completely great experience with those. So this time when I was planning a vacation out of Salt Lake, I was looking for an alternative--we were SO LUCKY TO FIND LOST CAMPERS! Our van was discreet (no advertising!), easy to drive and handle, had great gas mileage, and was super comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids! We had all the conveniences of a full-size RV, including a comfortable bed and a sink and stove to cook with. The customer service was also far better than our experiences with other companies, as we were able to choose the specific van that worked for us, and the staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. When we rent again for our next trip we will definitely use Lost Campers again!
We rented Jentastic (yes, the vans have names!) for a week and had a blast! Started the trip from Salt Lake City and drove north to visit Yellowstone and Grand Tetons national parks; the van performed excellent!, even in steep climbs on hot days with A/C turned On!We averaged 25-29mpg, so they are very fuel efficient!!The interior of the van was very comfortable and set up very practically for camping. The bed mattress was almost as comfortable my own bed!Next time were on the west coast well rent from Lost Campers again. Thanks!
We took the van for 5 days and drove to Teton and Yellowstone National parks, and Antelope Island (which is a gem) driving just under 1000 miles return trip. We were really pleased about how smooth the whole Lost Camper hire and return process was, and how friendly and helpful Aspen and Drew were. The Dodge van was kitted out with everything we needed including sink, fresh water and waste containers, tables, bedding (and comfortable bed) chairs, gas cooker, crockery, etc. An added bonus was that we also picked up some essential things that previous campers had returned unused such as maps, bear spray (thankfully re-returned unused!) and laundry soap, etc. A great experience. The only thing that could be improved was information on the LC website about bringing towels. Highly recommended for people wanting an adventure..
Great experience with Esther which was our van/home/transport for our week in Utah. No problems at all with the van, or the roof top tent. Lost Campers made everything easy and gave great confidence in what wed be depending on throughout our trip. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Lost Campers. Great value for their comfortable and innovative vans. Service by the staff I met (Derek) was also great. They are very transparent about their charges during the reservation process, so no surprises when I picked up and returned the van. Although it didnt turn out to be an issue for me, I do think theyd be better if they opened on Sundays.
My friend and I rented a van so that we could be able to get around easily to all the mountain biking and hiking trail heads in Salt Lake City. I went to pick it up (very convenient/ close to the airport) and the staff was very friendly and useful. We used the bike racks that were very easy to load and off-load. There was a sink in the trunk which I mustve read over when I booked the van... but I was pleasantly surprised!! Overall it was a great rental and I would definitely dont again.
Camper-van was excellent in size and easy to manage. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to help with our first time driving in the US. The van had no obvious marketing on the side of the van which is different from the many other van rentals we drove past, massive security bonus.Over all a great experience and would recommend to anybody that is looking to travel America.
Had a wonderful experience with a Lost Campers campervan. Would certainly recommend to anyone interested in experiencing the national parks on a reasonable budget. The staff was informative and helpful, and the van was exactly what we hoped it would be.
Rented the van with the pop-up tent for 8 days and had an awesome adventure. Van was fully stocked with everything we needed. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. They explained how to use everything before we left and made returning (even though we cracked the windshield) a breeze. Would defninty rent again and recommend!!
We did a 7 day trip through the national parks of Utah. I can truly say renting with Lost Campers was the only way to do it. The van fit every need we had and then some. The car was perfectly outfitted, the bed was comfortable, and the service was amazing. I highly recommend Lost Campers and will undoubtedly use them again. Dont miss out!!!
We had Joanna for a week, drove around Flaming Gorge and South Wyoming, Wasatch Mountains. The bed was comfortable, we left it made up and transferred our soft bags to the front seats at night. Though we had some cold nights, inside windows all iced up one morning, we were warm enough in bed, though we had bought an extra blanket. We would recommend Lost Campers, a great way to travel, in between tenting and the way more expensive RVs.Friendly efficient staff, easy to deal with.Had lots of fun, great memories to take home to Australia.
Just got back from an amazing trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons NP! Lost campers was amazing! The staff was super helpful and responsive and there was an excess goods kitty that was great for getting a few things that you didnt have to buy. The van Shaska was excellent, had no issues and it was so convenient to not have to set up a tent every night. Could not recommend them enough, had an amazing experience!!!
The van was great. Lila was her name and she had everything we needed plus what we brought on the plane to camp for five days in Utah. The bed was comfortable and big enough for my 6 foot husband. Thanks for a great experience and I will use you again.
We spent 2 weeks in one of Lost Campers vans and loved it. Fully equipped and ready for camping the van worked great and the rates were very reasonable. Easy rental process and great service. I highly recommend Lost Campers.
I Recently spent a wonderful week with KELLI at Bear Lake in Utah. She is a beautiful dark blue Dodge Van with a very comfortable bed in the back with curtains all around. Lawn chairs, cooking utensils, propane camp stove, insulated camp cooler. Radio with C.D. player, great air conditioning. Expanding sun awning. Well, the list goes on to include the professional folks who manage this business with prompt, courteous service.P.S. The cost is reasonableRichard M. SorensenWest Haven Utah
Friendly staff. Van was great. Easy to use camping equipment. Small glitch with the van was dealt with effectively by remote call-in service. Overall a very good experience. Would book again with this company. ...and Utah hiking is awesome!
These guys are absolutely awesome! Lani was very helpful and they took great care of us. We drove through nearly all of Utah! Norman (the vans name name) drove great and well fondly remember the trip. Thanks so much!
We had a great time with a Sierra camper van for one week in Yellowstone, 2 adults and a 18month baby camper. Bed is comfy, canopy was usefully and everything is easy to setup. Friendly staff too. I highly recommend renting their mini camper vans !
The people in the company were helpful and accessible. Our van was very well outfitted and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. Lost Campers added so much to our adventure in Utah. Thanks!
Awesome staff! Great at explaining things and very accommodating to a last minute schedule change. Great value and great service. Highly recommended!!
Great budget campervan! Cheapest one I found in Utah by far. I basically used it as a place to sleep rather than dealing with setting up tents and finding tent sites at night. The little sink in the back was handy for brushing my teeth but I didn’t use it more than that.
Steffi (Our van) was great! We toured the Utah Parks and camped all over the state. The bed was comfy and the awning really helps when you need shade at some of the desert campgrounds.Every person I talked to at Lost Campers from phone to in-person was amazing, and the experience from pick-up to drop-off was great. There is a leftover shelf where you can take or leave any supplies for the trip.Overall, we had a great time, thanks to Lost Campers.
The experience with Lost Campers was excellent from start to finish. The interaction with Launi for booking the reservation was easy and efficient. She was a pleasure to interact with. The van was well-equipped, drove smoothly, and functioned flawlessly even in winter conditions for our entire trip (over 1500 miles). The details of the van, rates, etc. represented on their website accurately reflects reality. We would love to rent from Lost Campers again.
Clean, budget-friendly, and well-stocked campervan that we got to use for our Utah adventure. I absolutely loved that there were no ads on the vans, especially when we saw how tacky some of the other ones looked. If you want something comfortable and reliable that doesnt scream Im a tourist this is the one! I would happily use them again and recommend this rental company to friends.
Excellent customer service. We took a camper van to Yellowstone and got stuck in a snowstorm so we never made it to our intended campsite. Luckily, we were able to set up camp outside a 24hr restroom outside the Old Faithful general store. The campervan kept us plenty warm and comfortable despite the snowstorm outside. They we very responsive through emails throughout our trip and everything went smoothly. Would definitely rent from them again. Thanks Lost Campers!
The van we rented was great. It was exactly as advertised for a great price! We had to wait over 30 minutes past our appointment to get the van though because they were running behind. I would rent from them again though!
This is our first time to rent a mini van. Rental experience here is so great! Staff is very helpful and kind! She explained things very well. Rental process is convenient. I will highly recommend this place!!!
Had a great time. The van was so much easier than tent camping and came with dishes, utensils, a stove, chairs, a cooler, an everything else we needed. Not having to worry about all these things was great, especially when flying in from cross country. All we had to do was buy food and ice and we were off.
We rented a van to tour Utah and would give both the van and the customer service a stellar rating. They were timely with email response, the van was clean and ready to go, they are very thorough with check-in and check-out. We had zero issues with the van, it could not have worked better for us to tour Utah for a few days. Will absolutely recommend to friends and use again when the time comes!
This was the second time I used Lost Campers and it was again a fantastic experience. The vans have everything you need for a great time out in the western US and are very comfortable and spacious. It is ideal to have everything in the car and not have the size of a ginormous RV. The staff is super friendly and very helpful whenever you have a question. I very much recommend to book a Lost Camper for your next trip in the US. Its a great way to experience National Parks, Monuments and much more!
Launi was incredibly helpful at check in! We were shown the ins and outs of the van, and off we went! There was plenty of room to sleep, and the bed was easy to assemble and disassemble. We were surprised at how well they converted what appeared from the outside to be a normal dodge caravan. The sink worked well, the van was in top shape, and the camp stove gave us culinary independence no matter where we went. 5 stars!
Awesome service from the very start when I called. Van is perfect, spacious and not too big for on the road driving, parking etc... Fully equipped no need for any additional. Will most definitely use again, most convenient way for travelling. Cheers
Would recommend this company!! Affordable, reliable and clean!! Much better than renting a car and setting up a tent! Bed was comfortable and we were kept dry at night when it rained!! Thumbs up!
We had this company recommended by friends of our daughter and worried that we may be too old (were in our mid sixties) to try it out but no...we had a ball. From the start with email communication with Launi through sign in with Aspen weve had a good experience. Van was very spacious and ran well. We were impressed that Lost Campers checked in with us by email a few days into our trip and this was very reassuring.
Staff was very responsive to my questions and made the process easy. We had a great trip. Van comfortably sat two adults, two teens and a 35 lb doggy (teens & doggy slept in a tent). Would definitely rent again.
Van was perfect for our needs, drove great and slept great. Staff was awesome to work with and even gave us a free can of bear spray for our trip to the Wyoming national parks. Only suggestion ... a mileage package that will more than cover travel to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.
Absolutely the best! Great experience with lost campers. They were super easy to work with and communicate our needs. So great to fly to SLC then pick up a camper and go. Loved it and would use them again in a heart beat.
We loved our rig, Big T. It was easy to drive, easy to sleep in. The Tepuitent was fun, though I never did figure out the metal support struts for the tarp/awnings. Lots of admiring looks from others for the interior. Comfy mattress. Super plus to have everything included for us: cook gear, sleeping gear, stove, water/sink - wow.
Great experience with lost campers! Aspen was a super huge help in explained and demonstrating everything before we left. The van drove great and it was really comfortable to sleep in.
Awesome experience with the van. Road tripped through the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National parks. Roof top tent was super easy to set up and worked out great
We hired Darren for a road trip from California to Salt Lake city. He was great, handled long days on the road. He was well equipped with cooking equipment and deck chairs. Loved it!
Great company with outstanding service standards! The vans are clean & reliable as well as being ingenious with their storage and sleeping arrangements. If things go bad which they do sometimes the friendly and ever helpful staff are just a phone call away.Couldnt recommend this rental company enough! Special thank you to Launi in Salt Lake City who rescued my keys from the van.
Fantastic service and great little van. We had it for nearly 4 weeks and had no problems at all. Comes equipped with everything you need. Would recommend x
Excellent! Great van, great staff, and an overall exceptional experience! Would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable camping van. Totally got our money worth and plan to use them again!
Awesome vehicle. Sooooo comfy to sleep in a full sized mattress; yet great to have a vehicle that was nibble enough to navigate the windy Seattle streets. These are my go to folks for all my future rentals.
We rented a nice camper minivan to go south to the national parks, and had a great time! The Vans are discrete enough not to scream tourist from 100 miles away. The staff here is young helpfull and really understands the campervan people ;)Rented before in LA, and will definitely rent again from this place :)
Great experience! No hassles and van was ready to go when we arrived. Drove great, very comfortable and the staff was outstanding
My wife and I are totally hooked on camper vans after our experience with Lost Campers! The fact that the van was outfitted with everything we needed, plus there was NO BRANDING on the van made it a fantastic experience. We will definitely rent from Lost Campers again.
We had Darren (Black dodge Van) for 16 days and drove 3100 miles from SF to Oregon to Washington to Salt lake city. Darren handled it like a champ and was a pleasure to drive. The van also looked like any new nice road vehicle so we didnt attract unwanted attention from thieves who look to steal from tourist vans.thanks Darren!
Lost campers was so easy to work with and our van Duncan allowed us to see the entire country in six weeks. Having the option to sleep in the van when we got rain or snow was a huge help rather than having to set up a tent and take it down in such foul weather. I cant wait to take my next road trip with lost campers!
Super nice people. Clean and afforable van. Had everything i needed to camp around Utah went to 4 of the big 5. Check in was speedy and efficient
Really cool road trip that we have been able to do thanks to Lostcamper. The van was perfectly adapted to sleep and to travel many miles, I would definitely recommend.
Easy, simple, confortable... Well, nothing to say else that you that you have everything in 1 place !!Was recommended by friends, I thank them.I recommend too !!
Great experience! The van was clean inside and well taken care of. They are well used though and do have dents and dings on the outside. It came with all the essentials we needed to camp for a week. The office is a little odd, but you are not renting a normal high volume product so it is understandable. There was plenty of storage, but it is in the wood box so pack everything in bags if you can. There is room for suitcases only if you dont plan on using the back seats. We did have a minor issue with the driver side door contols. I called in and he said we could stop and get it fixed but we were in Yellowstone all week. Luckily the driver window was up, so the only thing we really needed was the side mirror controls, and he told us to adjust them manually and if they broke he would not hold us responsible as he wanted us to be safe driving. My only real complaint would be the curtains are not real private and should have velcro instead of strings, but the windows are tinted. I would definitely rent from them again if I get back out that way.
We loved our trip in our lost camper van! The bed was super comfy and no need to pack up a tent. Super great experience!
Great concept vans, cheap on gas, and super comfortable. The set-up with sink, stove, cooking stuff and the works is perfect! At the SLC office, Launi was very accommodating and we took advantage of the co-op shelf for the camping stuff and dry food! Peggy was a big part of a great 10 days road trip around Yellowstone!/We would do it again in a flash!
Great service. Only minor issue is they dont refund if you book for too long. Was our issue, just something to improve on.
Great rental company and very competitively priced, we didnt want a big van and this was just perfect, fully equipped and very comfortable. Our trip to Yellowstone was amazing and we could take all the smaller roads the large R Vs couldnt ! Aspen and Kaden were very helpful, we would certainly use them again, Thanks Guys .
The modified vans are fun, useful and relatively cheep. Great service from start to finish. A little hard to find the place though. They could use a sign.
We had a great trip with this Lost Camper Van. Reliable van, well equipped (lots of cooking utensils). Very good bed! Fast service on take off and landing as well!
Personable and comfortable business. GETTING THE VAN: We arrived to pick up the van, there was a gentleman before us, and so we sat in a comfy sofa and chatted a bit. The van was exactly as advertized, the contract was clear, the manager even tossed in a spare propane bottle for the stove, which was unnecessary and very nice. NORMAN: Each van has a name, and Grandma spent the week with Norman. They got on very well together. PERFECT SOLUTION: Our family has a campout reunion each summer, and the tent is just getting too uncomfortable. We were looking for a reasonable way to get her into an RV; but shes just one person and its just a week per summer. This was perfect. No registration, maintenance, service, storage or any of the hassles that come with an RV. Nobody had to tow anything, Grandma didnt have to drive a bus-sized vehicle. She was off the ground, out of any weather we might have had. It was absolutely the right fit for our needs. WHAT TO EXPECT: The van was great. The manager explained Normans particular quirks - that the rear passenger door doesnt auto lock and has to be done manually. Their vehicles arent current model year, and thats to be expected. The staff know their vans - by name and personality. They know the recreation areas nearby. They are pleasant and helpful. WHATS INCLUDED: Each van is cleverly customized with a bed and room to store your stuff. They provided a couple chairs, a table, a stove, and a bin of pots and dishes. They also provided sheets, pillows, and a comforter. Independence and comfort for Grandma. SUMMARY: All that for a week, without hassles. The price was completely reasonable. We will be a repeat customer every year.
I have been traveled with a campervan for one week in the end of March in Utah and Arizona. It was amazing ! The van is very convenient. We were two, you have so many rooms for your stuffs, you can do everything! We really enjoyed our trip with the campervan even though we had a mechanic problem, the employees at Lost Campers are effeciency and helped us find a car workshop. Our van from Lost Campers was very well equipped and made our trip to the wonders of Southeast Utah pretty perfect, as we were able to stay right in Arches and Canyonlands. The bed was super comfy!
Awesome experience!! Absolutely will use again and highly recommend!
Fantastic customer service! Great van- clean and road ready. Thanks.
Was very pleased with the slc office, Kaden was excellent in getting us on the road, no issues with van. Great people to deal with.
The campervan was great! Everything that we needed was provided and they kept in touch thoughout our trip. We traveled with a 2 adults and an infant in the Hotel Sierra model.
Just returned from an 11 day adventure with my 7 year old son in a Lost Camper van in Utah and Wyoming. Everything went perfectly! The staff at Lost Campers SLC (Launi) could not have been more helpful or sweeter - even accepting our bear spray delivery for us before we arrived. The operation is very professionally and efficiently run, and provided us with all the information/ insurance/ paperwork we needed. The co-op shelf in the office is great too - the office lets returning renters leave unused items for arriving guests - so that saves a little money. The van was very well stocked and maintained. We didnt have a single driving or maintenance related issue for 1400 miles! The sheets were clean and smelled good, the bed (futon) was very comfortable and the kitchen bucket had all the basics. The camp stove was in good working order too. (A few things I would recommend bringing are an extension cord, a mosquito net and a portable dishwashing station, but thats personal preference.) We met lots of friendly campers at various campgrounds, but I didnt have to spend any time pitching a tent or setting up and breaking down camp - which I didnt want to be doing every other night. We also didnt face any size or RV restrictions with the mini-van. A camper van is a great option for value and adventure and enabled us to take the trip of a lifetime! Highly recommend!
