I called Hutch Tents to inquire about a roof top tent. I got to speak with the Owner and wow....talk about taking pride in his work and customer service. I got all the product info I needed, and travel tips for the area Im headed to go camping in! Josh went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable with what I wanted to purchase as well as just going the extra mile with local info for my trip! Customer service like this should be the standard everywhere!

First and foremost-the quality of the tent is amazing and the design of the whole tent is spectacular. Beyond the tent it’s the company as a whole. When I first looked into tents I didn’t know exactly what was best and what was proper. After spending weeks and weeks of research looking for the right tent and going to look at tents I decided Hutch Tents was where I would spend my money ( and I would do it again and again and again) I could go on about how amazing the tent is but look for yourself at the material it’s made of and compare to other companies. You’ll find hutch is by far superior. The biggest thing to me was the owner of this company. Josh was amazing step by step of the process of not only explaining to me how to put it all together on my vehicle but also walking me through it and guiding me. He was amazing to talk with and hear his story of why tents and what brought him to where he is now and how passionate he is about his company and his tents. Yes the product is amazing but the guy behind it actually cares and that’s what sets this apart from any other tent company.

After my neighbor bought a 2-person “Prospector”, I began looking into rooftop tents. I looked at Tepui, Tuffstuff, off-brand models, Amazon models 25% of the cost... Hutch was what we settled on. The owner is a local SLC, UT outdoor enthusiast and the products are well-sourced and stood behind. I bought the Apex 3 with the Annex and it is the most perfect camping I’ve had. Hutch offers locally made aluminum racks that cost less than I spent making and painting my own. Thanks for reading!
