My company has used Shred-it for over 10 years. They have recently switched computer systems and we got lost. We have not had a pick up in over a month and have been missed twice on our regular service schedule. For two days in a row I have spent hours on hold. When they finally answer they promise we are on the route and they have not shown up. I am now looking for a document shredding company that wants our business. I do not recommend Shred-it!!

I have never left a review on a business before but I am so disappointed in the customer service that I have received from this company. I have been a long standing customer of over 15 years and the last 6 months has been horrible. They dont show up to our office and when trying to reach them by phone you are on hold for 45 minutes and then hung up on. I finally reached out to a different company that has taken great care of is locally. I would not recommend Shred-it to anyone.

We are a medical office and have trusted Shred-it to take care of our document destruction for over 10 years. They come on schedule, quickly empty the container and are out. They answer any questions we have and send us an emailed invoice. Easy and dependable. Their employees are professional, well-mannered and nice. Thank you !

One of the worst experiences with an AR department Ive ever had. We have contacted them by phone at least once a week for the last 6 weeks, and have received different information with every phone call. Our bin has been full since October, and we cannot get anyone to come out.My last conversation was with someone named Greg in the AR department, who has informed me that apparently we have another invoice due on the account, even though the customer experience team assured us our account was paid in full. Its a joke. This place is an absolute joke.Call someone who appreciates their customers. I found a local company that is less expensive and always pleasant to deal with.

We have a regular pickup with Chase at Shred-it. We always feel confident that Shred-it is handling our documents in the most secure manner for destruction. We keep a Shred-it bin in the office where everyone can put their confidential papers to discard and then Shred-it empties the bin and shreds it in their truck onsite before they leave. It is very convenient and secure.

HORRIBLE Company!! If I could give zero stars I would!. Our office is trying to minimize the amount of paper used so we no longer need their services. We tried to cancel but they said we cant cancel for 4 MORE YEARS! Horrible customer service. If you have any sense at all dont use this company.! AVOID!!!

By far the worst company to cancel a service with!!! Customer for over 15 years. Notified them of retirement and to forward me last bill, paid last bill and they collected shred box, a year later and no other notices in between, they send me an invoice for 3 times what my quarterly amount ever was!!! Responded to them in writing to call me to discuss, notices kept coming and no calls. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! AVOID!!!UPDATE: They left a message for me to call them back to discuss. Girl pulled up account and could not help me, said she would have a Supervisor call me right back. NOTHING!!! Great Service and no resolution to a horrible experience. STAY AWAY FROM SHRED IT

So horrible to work with. I inherited the task of managing shred for my company shortly after they canceled their services and went with another company because shredit had been so unreliable. Shredit left all of their bins and they were in the way so I called them to come get them. They acted like they had never heard of my company, even though I gave addresses and the account number. They finally found the account and said someone would come collect the bins. A month passed with nothing so I called again. Again great difficulty in locating the account. Then they get back on the line and say nobody will be in our area any time soon and to just throw away the bins. Clearly they dont take security seriously because these bins are already filled with sensitive documents. Really poor service.

Horrible company. Bottom of the barrel when it comes to customer service. The call centers you have to deal with are a joke. One transfer after another with nothing resolved! I would give zero stars if I could!In response to your response....I have emailed that same email saying call me today, cant reach you, Im canceling, call me this week, etc etc.No response ever

These guys are awful to deal with. Their customer service is awful, and they hid contract terms and auto renewals deep in their contracts while charging double the price of their month to month competitors. Use someone else, and save the money and headache.

The worst! I have been dealing with them on our companies shred box for over two months. We have several charges of pickups that they have never done, and we decreased our services from 2 times a month to 1 time a month and our bill increased. They have not emptied our bins in over two months and it is over flowing. I spend 40 plus minutes on the phone with them and they tell me they will take care of it and it still isnt taken care of. I am canceling today due to not following the contract. Worst customer service!!!!!! I have spoken to several supervisors and nothing done. Stephanie Rodriguez is the account care specialist who had me sign contract when decreasing my services. After she got a signature never would answer any of my phone calls or emails. I have sent over 20 in the last couple of months and will not respond. Horrible go with a different company.

Called to get an estimate as our office has gone paperless, the man on the phone was so rude and after asking him about an average price we were hung up on, terrible customer service! Not wasting time calling back, plenty of other companies to go with...

Absolutely terrible to deal with! Go somewhere else.

The service techs are always great, but dont sign a contract until youve attempted to use their call center, or had anything to do with their admin. Nightmares, I tell you. Nightmares.
