One of the best Courtyards I have stayed at. New and clean. Great location for walking to dinner
What a great staff here. They went above and beyond with my stay. After our flight was delayed about 4 hours, we checked In Pretty late. That wasn’t a problem at all for them. They were ready to check us in and let us rest up. I wish we would’ve gotten a better view then the parking but, everything made up for that view. The front desk was amazing, greetings as we walked through the lobby. Very informative about what was available and what wasn’t. Came in for the Skywest interview event that they held at the hotel. Convince on a super duper level. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely be back.
Positive: Felt much safer and cleaner than last place we stayed in SLC. The check in staff was really nice. Negative: My fridge did not get very cold. Ultra modern bathroom faucet not as controllable with water flow as I¿d prefer.
Very welcoming and really nice! We usually stay elsewhere but Im glad we chose this place this time!
Very disappointed. My wife Kristi and I stayed here this last Friday to Sat. It’s our anniversary and we were excited to get away together. Personal time is valuable with 4 kids. We got into our room. Unpacked and relaxed for a little bit just to realize the toilet was clogged. We couldn’t get anyone on the phone for about 10 min and then realized our phone wasn’t working. So we called down on our cell and they said they would get us a new room and maybe an upgrade. Ended up being a downgrade… no sofa and no walk in shower. Wasted an hour of our night moving repacking and unpacking again and no real apology was made. Won’t be coming back.
Positive: It was so clean and beautiful. Loved the pool, weight room, my room, lobby, location. Negative: Wish theyd just throw in parking for free. That is always an unwelcome surprise to find out youre going to pay $14+ to park. Ugh. Time to rethink that one!
We only stayed one night but had a good time. The room was clean and nice. Nice pool and hot tub with long hours 6am- 11pm. My only complaint was their restaurant was closed, so no breakfast options and from what I could see their website leads you to believe it’s all open (it’s just a pet peeve of mine when websites of big professional companies arent updated/lead you to believe false info). But not a huge deal, we just door dashed some food.
Tried Courtyard. This one is a machine. Maybe good at catering to conferencing to out of town people but, travelers beware. We had to pay for their recommended parking, no free breakfast, coffee was extra cost.
Garrett’s&Ryan’s Will stay at you Courtyard by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown in June and August in 2023 with Indoor Pool and Hot Tub and Business Center and Fitness Center and Restaurant and Air Conditioned and Free Wi-Fi
Nice hotel. Debbie at the front desk was great. Recommended Bruges Belgian Bistro. It was excellent! We were in the lobby waiting for an Uber for 30 minutes. She was great with all the customers as there was a constant line.
Staff is very friendly. Prompt service, and no issues. I will definitely be returning to this location!! 5 stars highly recommend.
Didnt actually stay here. Just passed through. Looks pretty nice though and is centrally located downtown. Would be a great place to stay when visiting SLC!
I stayed here on a business trip for quite a number of days. During that time, I got to know the Front Desk staff fairly well. Joel, John, Lisa, Brandon, are just a handful that stood out. I had may special requests and each and every one of them were always eager to help me. They took the time to remember my name! I was blown away by that! Whoever hired and trained these wonderful people in customer service skills is to be applauded! THANK YOU Marriot!
Room comfort and design are noteworthy. Its located in easy walking distance of The GateWay with superb little grocery store as well as the City Creek Mall area. Great and varied restaurants abound, no car needed. What will have me coming back though is the hotel staff. Front desk in particular. Efficient and friendly and when an issue arrived about making it to a meeting on time, a quick thinking young gentleman saved the day. Wow! Great customer service, enhances the beauty of the hotel even more.
The room was clean, the gym was nice, the pool was adequate...Plenty of room for improvement...No breakfast, (strange bistroOur room was supposed to have a couch/pull-out, it had a funky chair with a mismatched ottoman, (not comfy for sitting nor sleeping) asked for a cot, or roll-away bed and they said they didnt have any.For two hundred+ dollars a night, we expected more.
Let me start off by saying, the front desk workers are INCREDIBLY rude and passive aggressive. Especially the girl (tan girl, brown hair with highlights, glasses) I stayed here for 30 days for flight attendants training, and they are all so unwelcoming. You feel like you’re bothering them when you ask for something simple. I asked the woman for more coffee pods, she handed them to me and I said thank you, she dismissed me and blatantly ignored me. Hire new front desk workers, because if they can’t deal with customer service, they shouldn’t be working in this industry. Also to the girl reading this- I sincerely hope you work on your pettiness. So out of pocket for no reason.
Had to ask to deep clean carpets in a room. Location is great!
Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed, the hot water takes a while in the shower, but no biggy. Had a very pleasant stay here.
Came in for a conference, was genuinely surprised to find a hotel in Downtown Salt Lake with a parking garage thats less than 400/night. The lobby seemed pretty snug but very clean and well used for the space. The conference center is also pretty nice and seems like it can be rearranged for different uses. Walking distance from the Gateway mall which was nice. I would definitely come back
Very nice, clean establishment. Staff was cordial and very helpful. Parking in the DT SLC area is tough tough find, complementary if you stay here. 10/10 will stay here again.
Positive: Great location. Clean. Negative: We got there kinda late so we were tired ready for bed and the hotel was having problems. There were 4 different reservations that could not be found from the time we were there. We were the first of 4 to get there but we were helped last. Waited 2 hrs
Great customer service/ really good peopleThey even ran to help me out when the soda machine took my dollar.
Already planning our next trip to SLC to stay here. Clean, quiet, and only a block away from Gateway which is full of shops and food options. No room service and in hotel dining was limited but tons of Doordash options all around. Had a great view from our 6th floor room of the 4th of July fireworks.
Got the reservation around 10am and got there at the front desk at 12 Noon only to be charged another $50 to check in before 4pm and that was hidden and I paid it. Then the next thing was incidents charge for who knows how much but I think at least $100 or he said $170 Im not sure cuz his English got bad after I was forking out all these hidden fees!! I only got the 4* room cuz it was actually advertising a cheaper rate then the 3* and 2* hotels. But I paid thru the roof and the service was very minimal and I decided to not even stay the night and was trying to leave when my wife dropped my keys under the elevator and the Hotel wants $1500.00 to retrieve them!!!! OMG this place doesnt even deserve 1Star,but I gave it in the hopes that things change here. I will gladly spend my money at the other Hotels from here on out and cancel my rewards and all my accounts with Marriot after all these years. Its like the Hotel got Covid and it will never get better. Hope this helps someone save money and time .
We spent Valentine’s weekend at this Courtyard Marriott and we were so impressed during our stay! We enjoyed the friendly front desk staff, namely Jake. We were disappointed to see that COVID had prevented us from using the hot tub, but the pool was in excellent condition and was heated, so we enjoyed a swim. Our king suite was spacious, clean and stylish. We would definitely book again.
Clean spacious room. Rapid checking. Nice lobby.
One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at no maid service even after asking for it our trash cans were overfilling no one would come dump them I had to go down and get towels myself because no one would bring them up to us we ran out of toilet paper by the last day when we checked out the girl at the front desk thought it was more important to check her text messages than to help us we will never stay there again not to mention the room was very dirty very very dirty so many hotels around that area definitely definitely pick another one
The hotel is clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and efficient. I will definitely stay here again.
Positive: The game room, outdoor pool, and hot tub were great amenities. Convenient hotel layout allows guests to park their vehicle(free) next to our room. Negative: Lack of a refrigerator for the star level.
Beautiful hotel! Large room, large pool, nice exercise room. We will be back!
Amazing service, huge rooms, comfy beds, huge bathrooms, and everything was so clean. Parking is a little inconvenient but totally worth it. Gorgeous rooms, quality appliances, spacious, and the TV even had an option to stream Netflix and more. Loved it, 12/10 would stay again.
Great place rooms are nice and the staff is helpful.
Very clean and great customer service.
A older gentlemen that works at the front desk at night dark hair helped me and my 4 yr old boy surprise my mom it was awesome! Thank you so much 😊. Sorry I didnt get your name. Well be back for sure and the location is PERFECT!!
We loved our stay at the Courtyard SLC Downtown Marriott. Its conveniently located across from the Vivint Arena and its one block to Gateway and TRAX. The location was quiet and felt safe. The staff was friendly and the hotel is nice. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was really good (burger, chicken blt, fries, breakfast sandwich, and breakfast burrito). It has a nice indoor pool and hot tub. We will definitely stay here again!P.S. I rated service as good because we asked for extra towels multiple times but they never delivered them. Otherwise, the service was excellent.
It was nice and clean and right across the street from the jazz game.
Positive: It was clean Negative: Yes they made 400 dollars worth of charges to my account leaving me stranded and did not care at all
Absolutely perfect place to get away from kids or your everyday life! We were here for only 1 night for Vday and it was perfect! The hotel is beautiful and the staff was awesome! Indoor pool and Jacuzzi are a plus! Best part is you are right downtown in SLC so deff have a beautiful view. Biggest recommendation is to step away and cruise down B Street such a perfect way to end the night !
Great stay! Large, clean room. We were a late arrival and Nick worked to find us the room type we requested that was not on the pet floor. Person in our party is highly allergic to pets. Nick was helpful also in alerting us of the local restaurants in the am serving breakfast/brunch. We would certainly stay here again! Easy walking distance to Mormon temple, mall and several restaurants.
Property beautiful. Front desk clerk made us feel unsafe in regards to parking, whether it was street or garage. Definitely need coffee service in morning. In room coffee is yuk.
I stayed here two nights a week apart. I walked into an emaculate room both nights. The rooms are updated and the linens were new. The grounds and lobby are also clean with several hand sanitizer stations throughout the lobby and by the elevators. Friendly helpful staff as well. Oh and its pet friendly, I had my dog with me and there is a pet area with bags and a trash can. 🐾🐾
The staff was extremely kind! We chose this hotel because it is so close to the Vivant arena and will definitely go back for any future events. The front desk clerk made sure we had a great view of the arena which was fun for my little boy. We took advantage of the pool which was clean and fully stocked of clean towels. The entire hotel was well kept and clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Negative: My confirmation was for a 2bed queen suite with coach bed, we received a 2 queen room. However the price of the room did not change at all for receiving a smaller room
COVID-19 makes all hotel stays odd, but the Marriott staff were all courteous. I am confident they were doing all they could to keep the facility clean and to provide a safe haven for me.
We love staying at the Marriott Courtyard Salt Lake City Downtown. It is a modern, attractive hotel in a great location for public transit, sporting events/concerts at the Vivant Arena, shopping, eating out and more. The area felt safe expecially on nights with events at the Arena. There were security and police constantly patrolling the area with no known problems to us. The staff was helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the pool and gym were nice. We would stay here again anytime. Love this place.
Super clean hotel, friendly staff, garage parking, right downtown next to the Vivint Jazz Arena.
Was a nice walk downtown
Fantastic location to explore Salt Lake. Definitely go to Chile Tepin. This was during mask mandate and the hotel staff did a great job making us feel safe and the building was very well santized. Full gym area and pool were perfect to stay in shape on vacation
I was really hoping that I will start using this hotel as a place for me to stay when I come to visit SLC for work, but due to the mediocre customer service I received from the front desk lady, this is my second and last time at this place. My checkout was at noon but due to an important conference call, I asked the front desk if I can extend my checkout until 12.30 or 1 pm, and she simply lied at my face. She said that the hotel is full and she wouldnt be able to let me stay for another 30 minutes to an hour because my room is booked for another person. I asked her to charge me for the extra half to one hour stay but she just refused and denied my request in a very rude way. Later on, I called the front desk and asked them if I can extend my stay for another night in the same room, a different person said it is possible and the room is available. I ended up canceling my call and leaving the hotel early. The AC in the room wasnt working and the shower was broken and leaking. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
Positive: Very clean, very nice, accommodating staff. My favorite place to stay in Salt Lake!
Rooms are very large, the property is beautiful. Associates were all responsive and delightful to deal with. The bistro exceeded our expectations. We perceived that it would have a few light items -- wrong! Full breakfast options, evening bar experience, which we didnt share, was enjoyed by others in our group. The bedding was outstanding. I traveled for decades in my business career. Always enjoyed Marriott properties. This Courtyard would have met all my needs then just as it did now, in many ways better than other hotels where I stayed.
Upon arrival, I saw a little plaque with my name on it thanking me for visiting! How awesome is that! This hotel was right across from my graduation venue. The parking garage provided enough for everyone. The staff was lovely. My only complaint is this…The A/C in the room was very warm. I could not get the air to be lowered. The shower does not have a door so the entire floor outside the shower is getting soaked. The neat freak in me was not having that!
Lousy dirty bathroom, dirty windows, dirty coffee maker and they never went to clean the room I asked for towels and the cleaning girl did not want to give me towels that I had to speak in front of so that they would give us there without counting that they charged $ 50 extra for hidden charges they did not I recommend for nothing there are better and with good service this was expensive but it was not worth it.
I had booked a room days in advance. Checking was at 3 pm. I arrived at 3 and they didnt have a room ready for me. I had to wait hours till I got one. It was my anniversary and because of the late check in, I had to change plans.
Courtyard SLC / Downtown is literally right across the street from the Vivint Arena and just up the street from the Gateway! It’s the perfect location for a Jazz game and a night out. The Rooms are nice and the bathroom is big and modern. It was nice to be within walking distance of lots of entertainment.
I was here in Salt Lake City on business. This hotel by far exceeded my expectations. All of the staff from the time of check in, to the leaning service and staff that tended to our catered breakfasts and lunches was overly accommodating vs any other hotel in this price range. The rooms are modern and clean. The conference rooms (we used 3 daily for the week) were very inviting. The lobby area etc also was great. If you are In town for business or pleasure this hotel will not disappoint the average person for sure I highly recommend it.
This was a return visit. We had a great stay there in the fall. This time, there was an issue with parking. I knew we would have to pay for parking in the garage behind the hotel, but was not informed that parking might not be available to us since the garage is also used for event parking for the arena across the street and there was a basketball game starting when we checked in. Had we known that, we would have changed our plans to arrive earlier. I understand that the staff at the front desk has no control over the parking situation. However, given that this must be a fairly common experience, it was disappointing that they were unable to provide any information about where we could park overnight. They couldn’t answer questions about the parking spaces across the street and were not sure of the parking policies at the Gateway. The least the hotel could do if they can’t provide parking is provide a parking map with information about parking restrictions for those unfamiliar with the city. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. Great in every other way.
Room stank. Staff was good. Coffee was not. Expensive bottle of water is ridiculous. Not a great location. For the money there are much better choices in the surrounding area. Decent business hotel. Poor for vacationers.
The hotel itself was excellent. I did not appreciate having to pay $14.oo per night to park my car. I also wish they had a complimentary breakfast. I do not remember seeing on their website that it was not free parking but I may have overlooked it. But....the hotel was great. It is within walking distance of shopping, eating, and other SLC sites.
Clean..maintenance was fast and really good customer service!!
Nice hotel, friendly staff. The room was clean and I was upgraded to a suite because of my titanium elite level. Breakfast was the typical courtyard breakfast found at all other courtyards. The one critique would be that if you park a car you MUST get the ticket validated otherwise you cant leave. When I checked in they told me I only needed to do this for in and out privileges, however, its needed if you wanna leave at all. I didnt want to re park and go inside so I attempted to pay at the gate, no go, its validated tickets only and it just rejects any credit card.
I really like the staff at this hotel, but what I also really appreciate is the soap dispensers in the shower. Instead of having single-use, small bottles for shampoo, conditioner, and shower soap they use wall-mounted dispensers. That makes a huge, albeit often overlooked, impact. I would like to see, however, more vegan/vegetarian options offered for breakfast. Most of the dishes have eggs.
Great location, close to shopping & restaurants. Staff are super friendly. Rooms & lobby are very modern, clean & welcoming. Pool was nice. Exercise room has nice choice of equipment, laundry facilities on premises if you need to wash something. I would stay here again. Thanks for the great visit.
Excellent accommodations while participating in the Unite Fitness Retreat program. Very clean room, friendly front desk, nice pool and hot tub. Fast internet and comfortable bed! I highly recommend both the Unite Fitness Retreat and the Courtyard Marriott.
This was my first time at this new Courtyard Hotel. I was in town for a convention and it was especially nice to stay in a newly minted hotel property. The fitness room is large enough to freely move around and equipped with free weights, mats and a unique exercise machine. The rooms are nicely appointed and the European shower design is very well designed. Kudos to the design team on this!
Rooms were a nice large size. Staff was super friendly. Location is good. What disappointed me, may not be the same for you...I had a meeting that I had to leave for early in the morning..woke up went down stairs to get a coffee... none..the coffee bat doesnt open till after I had to already be at my appointment..ok if I cant purchase till a certain hour..I think this brand should put out a complementary coffee area for those that wake up between day 5am and when you open at 8.. I was told that there is coffee in my room...I am not using that.
At check-in, when the staff member learned that we were staying for our anniversary, he took REALLY good care of us! We really liked the furniture in the room. We also got a great price on the room that night, presumably because the Utah Jazz were playing an away game.
The hotel is very nice and updated, but internet connectivity struggled the more people that arrived for the holiday weekend to the point where I couldn’t get a Netflix account to load a show and had to connect to the hotspot on my phone to get any work done. It was also surprising how much could be heard through the windows. There was a very rousing game of Marco Polo which took place every day in the outdoor pool, in addition to the evening crowd that would use the hot tub, which would make noise really difficult to tune out or cover up. It’s in a great downtown location and close to everything and the freeway, but as a solo traveler I wouldn’t choose this location again with so many other options close by.
If I could give a zero or negative stars I definitely would! I Know that the front desk guy totally ripped me off by charging me $80 and then charging me $20 for incidentals and when I asked him about the $80 charge he said he had no idea what I was talking about. I let it go figuring it might be credited back to my account, just to pay $50 the next day and then $20 for incidentals same experience he had no idea what I was talking about. Gonna have to go above his head to get this figured out.
Positive: Clean, smartly decorated room for a great price. Negative: Nothing
The A/C schedule for Courtyard Marriott in SLC.AC fan/compressor on - 120 secondsAC compressor off - 38 secondsAC fan off - 90 secondsRandom heat cycles - between every 5 minutes to 20 minutes. (Will remain on for 15 minutes)Sleep obtained: 4 hours.Mood upon waking: Great! If Im butchering a COW.WORST NIGHT SLEEP EVER.Ill not be back.
After my experience any Marriott hotel is at the bottom of my list. I was upset with all the added fees that I had to pay for. Then they didn’t even show up on the receipt which made me more mad. The amount of each fee was well over the price than any other hotel I’ve stayed at. I stay in a hotel every other weekend in Salt Lake City and normally stay at the Hyatt. I chose the courtyard Marriott because I was traveling with a small dog. Even though I got a room with a sofa it was the smallest room I’ve stayed in. The two people at the front desk were rude and very disrespectful towards my needs. For this hotel on booking.com says a wonderful breakfast will be provided which it wasn’t. I booked my night on the hotels website after finding it on booking.com. The room wasn’t clean to hotel standards. Walls were dirty and wallpaper was tearing and bubbling in multiple areas. I planned this weekend since before Christmas and it was horrible. I guess weeks of research is not enough.
Was really nice only thing was the beds were kinda uncomfortable.
Amazing location across from Vivint arena with views of downtown and the temple. The queen suite was spacious and bright, with a large bathroom and comfortable beds. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. The pool and whirlpool were both very nice and not too busy. The gym was a little crowded and small for the amount of people in there, I wish there was additional benches or free weights, but what they did have was of good quality. I will stay again when I return.
Super nice clean Courtyard. Rooms are great and spacious. Beds are comfortable and you are literally at the heart of the Utah Jazz basketball arena, and amazing concerts. And everything else downtown. Staff are friendly and accommodating. If you are planning a stay in Salt Lake this is a great place to stay! Youll be right in the center of all the action. They have a great bistro. Conference rooms, great exercise room and pool. This is really close to a branded Marriott hotel style accommodation for a more reasonable price.
We stayed here in October for my sons wedding and loved the hotel enough that we made reservations to stay here again in December to see the temple lights. The hotel is clean and feels new. The staff have been great on both of our visits. We have stayed in a room on the same side as the parking garage and the street and found that it was quiet regardless. We love the fact that the UTA is just a half block from here. It is free to use and it will take you to temple square and City Creek mall. This is a huge bonus considering that parking is hard to find and you would have to pay for it anyways. The only downfall is that there is no free breakfast, but they do have an onsite restaurant. We plan on making this our go to hotel whenever we want to stay in downtown Salt Lake City.
Clean. Gorgeous. New. Indoor pool. Laundry room. Weight room. Free WiFi. Computers for printing boarding passes. Great cable TV options with free HBO. Smart TV where we could log into our Netflix account. Parking costs $14/night for a covered parking building or street parking is available for 2 hours at a time between 8am-6pm with no overnight limit. No free breakfast, but there is a really nice cafe and little snack shop. The beds are comfortable with a variety of pillows. Our room had a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, closet with hangers, shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries. The hotel is directly across the street from The Vivint Smart home Arena, The Clark Planetarium and the Gateway Center. There are tons of restaurants and shops all within walking distance. Customer service is fantastic. Love this place. We’ll definitely stay there again.

I think the worst part of the stay was the parking ($14.00/day) was pretty unreasonable. Especially if you factor in the cost of the stay. There is free parking along the street......just hope the Jazz are away during the stay or your free parking is miles away from the hotel. The overall experience was a good, clean, quality hotel, and great amenities close by. I would have rated it better had it not been for the parking.
First time staying at the SLC Downtown Courtyard. Greeted by a very friendly staff at the front desk. Very helpful during my stay with suggestions of where to dine and a great walking map of downtown SLC. Hotel was very clean and room was awesome. Very comfortable and quiet. The Bistro food was very good, but a very limited menu for breakfast. The Bistro staff also very nice and courteous. Only feedback for improvement, would be for the Courtyard to use the Mobile App when my room was ready. Arrived early around 12:30 day of check-in and my room was not ready (not an issue). Was told I would be notified via the app when it was ready and I could use Mobile Check-in. Came back to the hotel around 5pm, to learn the room was ready, without the mobile app notification. First time the app did not notify me. Overall still a very good experience, and would considering staying here again.
Nice and clean. Decent rooms and lots of GrubHub options during pandemic. Nice location across the street from the Utah Jazz arena.
Love this new downtown Marriott propert. It is always one of my favorite properties to stay with friends & family. Offering convenient location across the street from the basketball arena & Gateway mall. Close proximity to dinning, shopping, night life & all that downtown Salt Lake has to offer. Nice lobby, lounge area, indoor pool, & comfortable spacious rooms. Secure parking garage for your car, but it is near a Trax stop, the Front Runner (Commuter Train), there is the Bus station nearby & bikes right outside.
Positive: It was clean, comfortable and very nice. Negative: It took over an hour to get service to repair my TV.
Clean brand new rooms. Staff can be friendlier.
Great location directly across the street from the Utah Jazz arena. Easy access. Good parking. Close to all the big SLC highlights.
Staff here are super helpful and always pleasant to speak with. Atmosphere is relaxing and my pups are always welcome. Will be our go to for staycations from here on out! Thank you Courtyard marriott downtown!
Absolutely everything was perfect about the Courtyard Salt Lake City Downtown. The most memorable thing about this hotel would be the staff. The front desk attendants, the Bistro servers, the banquet workers, and housekeepers were constantly greeting everyone with a smile and addressing them as maam or sir. The room was also a top favorite as the layout was very functional and the bed was impeccable, even better than my own. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. Its now my top recommended hotel for Salt Lake City and I cant wait to go back.

This place is amazing. Super clean. The staff were very attentive and right there when I checked in, ordered room service. The pool was clean and perfect temp. The gym was awesome, clean, and fun. I loved the style of everything. Very modern but comfortable. Cant wait to come back and chill here. Bee to a lot of places in SLC and this is by far the best place to stay. Highly recommended.😁😁😁💯💯💯
Great location and nice rooms. We enjoyed our stay and walked down to Temple square and city Creek mall. Parking is in a garage behind the hotel and they dont tell you at the front desk when you check in that they charge you ten dollars for unlimited parking during your stay. So we ended up paying when we parked the first day. Wish we had known. And dont buy points through Marriott rewards or it will cost you a lot more than the cash price.
Most Marriott or Courtyard properties offer some type of breakfast or continental food in the morning. Not this one. You must pay for everything and the selections are not very good. The dont even offer complimentary coffee. The hours for bar service are also very limited and closed early. This could be an overall Utah thing though so Im not sure. On a side note, the rooms are great, except for not having a shower door. The service is also very friendly, just dont expect much in the food and beverage area.
The hotel is located right across the street from Vivint arena and withing walking distance from some really nice restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and so is the shower. The beds are extremely comfortable. I also like how the mini fridge is in the cupboard because it minimizes the background humming motor noise while you are trying to sleep. I will definitely stay at this hotel again and recommend it.
Great rate for this room ($110). 10 min drive from the airport and a walk from the main downtown area with all the shops and Temple Square. Very friendly staff. Only here for one night but very clean room, extremely clean bathroom, and parking. Breakfast wasn’t included but not A big deal as there’s a German bakery close by (Vosen’s bread paradise). We were able to pay for parking for the day and Leave the car there while we explored Salt Lake City even though we checked out of the hotel so that helped.
People here are so accommodating! Hotel is beautiful, pool very refreshing, very clean and great location. Bistro food fresh and healthy. Just what you want in a small quiet hotel during your busy day downtown.
I love this Marriott Courtyard. It is so clean, has an incredible location, and the pool/jacuzzi is very clean and fun! If you sleep past 9am, put the Do not disturb on the door or else the maids will wake you up knocking. Otherwise, best hotel Ive ever stayed in. I have stayed at this hotel 3 times just this year (2018) for a fun weekend getaway with my family.
I am so upset to have to be giving such a negative review on this hotel. I look forward to going to hotels and having a clean and comfortable environment. When staying here, I was so surprised to be receiving just the opposite! DISAPPOINTING! Entering our hotel room, we found strips of black hair all over the bathroom floor and tub, not to mention they DONT provide any sort of supplies. The only kind staff was the two males David Larsen and the night audit. THE OTHER STAFF WAS CONFUSED AND ABSOLUTELY RUDE, only to find out it was THE MANAGER MACKENZIE BEHAVING THE WORST ATTITUDE & HOSPITALITY IVE EVER RECEIVED. Her pride and seniority over clouded her judgement, not to mention I watched her yell at other guests in the hotel. SO SAD.
We were there for a security conference. The facilities and the room were very clean and very nice. Staff seemed very helpful, although I was simply a guest of the conference. The tables and chairs were clean and cared for.Very pleasant experience.
We had a speedy check-in process. The room was super clean, and the lighting was elegant. We were able to settle right in, and we really appreciated the black-out curtains, with my husband working nights and all. I got a great deal on the room because Id booked it in advance, and the customer service was really friendly. The occasional thump on the other side of the wall, but that wasnt really a problem for us, and they hadnt replaced the lotion in the bathroom from the last guest, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Its within a mile of some of the best dining, and right next to the Planetarium and the Gateway. The midnight snacks we got from the front counter didnt break the bank either, and breakfast from The Bistro was amazing. Real potatoes, real bacon, real food, so it was worth the price. I would definitely stay there again.
Hands down the best SLC Marriott. The only downside is no free breakfast. This hotel is very clean and ideally located, especially if youre seeing a Jazz game. The workout facilities are nice, and the staff was wonderful. I would stay again in a heartbeat.
