Deals are good if you can get them. However, the reason for the low score is the customer service is horrible and needs some work. I emailed in asking a question and got a response that had ZERO to do with what I was asking. I thanked the person for the response and restated my question. What followed was another canned response with ZERO empathy, understand, etc.
The worst customer service EVER. Honestly don’t bother trying to get good deals. It’s not worth the time, nor the frustration. This company literally sucks.Example: I ordered some climbing gear they sent me the wrong color. I tried to contact them and they canceled me. Pretty pathetic right.

I tried to order a kayak rack and the order has been pending for over a month. Not only can’t I get a reply back from Rhino-Rack, expertvoice won’t return my emails either. Terrible customer service all around.

Its been a few weeks since I sent the last email and a few months since I sent the first.Or you can call us is right under the email option on the site. No option to talk to an operator. Great place to get good deals on outdoor products
Several months ago I ordered some carabiners through Expertcity (then Promotive) at a good pro deal price, although they do like to tack on transaction fees and the like; dont look for free shipping here. A few months ago I ordered a baby carrier. Still a decent pro deal even with the various additional costs. Odd not to get notice of whats happening with orders, but what is, is. Last month I ordered something that I would have liked to get in a couple of weeks. It didnt come, and didnt come. I looked on my account. It didnt show the old carabiner order, which was odd, and made me think that perhaps it was no surprise then that my current order wasnt showing on it either since apparently Expertcity doesnt need to know what its doing in order to do it. But when I sent a query on their online form, they never responded. When I telephoned them they said my order didnt exist. I pointed out that they didnt have record of my carabiner order but they had still fulfilled it. He denied that the carabiner order had ever been made, or that it would have been possible to make that order for that product at that time. I found that very interesting, since I have those carabiners right here, and Id also contacted Petzl by email to see if they knew anything about the recent order and while they said they had sent me carabiners several months ago, they had nothing from Expertcity on the current order. I also pointed out to the Expertcity guy that someone had run a one dollar pending transaction through my credit union for this order, and he acknowledged that would have been them. He said they must have cancelled the order upon running the card. Mind you, there is nothing wrong with that card--I just used it to order this gear elsewhere. The Expertcity customer service guy was put out by the suggestion that it would be helpful if they tell people when they arent going to fill their orders. Its pretty clear that this company only has the vaguest concept of customer service.
I recieved really poor service from Experticity. I am used to pro-deal shippers getting my order in the mail within two business days; Experticity was a huge bummer on that front. I ordered a helmet, and when it hadnt shipped a week later I called to get a status. The customer service rep gave me a bunch of excuses about how busy they were because of weather delays and several other things. Then, seven weeks later Experticity finally sent me noticed that they had cancelled my order. WOW! Im done with Experticity.
