Parker Rose sold me advertising . The ad ran for a month in September - October and I cancelled it. Now I can’t stop this company from charging me every month on the first of the month! I will never advertise with them again. The sales person is efficient but customer service is absent . Don’t want anybody to go through this.

UPDATE: 08/05/2016 - I just spoke with Jordan at DDM. They are working to fix the technical problem that prevented calls from getting to sales and advertising. They have great people there and are working to rebuild trust. I give this organization high praise for working to speak to those who were dissatisfied. It speaks to their integrity.I have been trying to speak with advertising sales for a week. I have emailed, left messages. I want to spend advertising money, but cant get anyone to call back. Avoid. Spend your money elsewhere.

KSL, and by extension Deseret Digital Media (DDM) is an exceptionally shady company when it comes to certain business practices.I signed up for a business listing on the KSL Classifieds site, and as I wasnt getting desirable results I have decided to close my listing as I do not see value in the money being spent.However, you cannot turn off the listing online and you have to reach out to the company directly to turn it off. Thats fine, whatever. However they will be incredibly slow in response, if they respond at all.I have experienced this same behavior from them 4-5 years back and I was hoping they had changed their business practices since then. I guess they have, as they are worse.I would recommend EXTREME CAUTION for anyone wanting to create a KSL Classifieds business listing, or to give them your cc number.

We have been a paid advertiser on KSL Classified for several years now. I initially left a poor review because you could never get helped by a human no matter how hard you tried. However, a year or so, back they reorganized their sales and support reps, and since they have been so much better.I have had our sales rep Jordan Tryon for over a year now, rather than the rep for a month program they were on before. Jordan has been very attentive and is good to quickly get back to me on any questions I have had. KSL Classifieds have always been one of the most effective places for us to promote our business, but now with their excellent customer service, it has been a unbeatable combination.Kevin JonesOwner, Access RV

Having worked at DDM.I know the ins and outs of this business. They treat their employees amazingly! Most of the administration is amazing at keeping the inside, entreprise, and cars team motivated. However, as a consumer keep in mind their job is to sell you as much as they can. in most cases if youre working with someone from inside sales. Theyre the lowest tier sales reps. With the title Account Executive they have the highest turn over rate within DDM. I worked there and when I first started the team was around 40 individuals. by the time I had left it was down to about half that. To this day, they have lost 3 of their main sales reps. With that being said, the company is phenomenal. Most of the individuals working there, are just in it for the commission and for the fun of working there. Theres a select group of 5 reps give or take that take their job a little more seriously. If youre wondering why most of their workforce quit when I was there. Its because they hired some bigshot who ended up wanting to change how things were done. Lo and behold noone was fond of him or his practices. So people started dropping out.As an ex-client and ex-employee I can assure you that 90% of the industries that pay into their ads. Are losing money and never breaking even. Your account executive can give you an exact analysis of click thrus, and other data. Most will lie thru their ears to get the sale. However, in most cases they can end up sending you exact details or pictures that you can use to keep track of what is going on exactly.Industries that are bad to pay for ads on KSL: Too many to name.Car related services, creative industries (design, entertainers, etc.), 95% of the classifieds banner ads are complete trash. I paid $400 over a 4 month period to take over 2 whole pages. I got 1 call from a customer, and 5 from competitors asking how much I was paying. The normal person would have paid $1300 for those same spots. So I got a good deal, yet I lost money cause I didnt get a single conversion from my investment.Industries that are good to pay for ads on KSL: Tree removing services, concrete pumping/related services, tile work, landscaping, RV SALES, Car sales(not repairs), and politicians/big name companies.

Mitch and Kurt have been great to work with.

There was a mistake on my account which was frustrating, but they went above and beyond to fix it.
