Amanda is great to work with. Everyone there has been great as well. As long as you do what they council your case goes smoothly. I’m only writing this out of complete frustration. Obviously if I felt satisfied with their service my review would reflect that. I retained Lincoln Law for a chapter 7 & only chapter 7. I let them know I didn’t want to go any other route since bankruptcy reflects the exact same way on your credit. I paid 1,894$ in 4 payments. I’m extremely thankful they let me split it, had they not, I wouldn’t able to afford it, after all I am trying to get all debts wiped out. After all payments were made we started the process, keep in mind I had to upload all the documents, (it’s a lot) and fill out all the paper work with nobody’s help. All they did was send a few emails and make a few calls, all calls were no longer then 5 mins prior to the attempt of filing. The day comes to go over everything I’ve sent in and finally file my bankruptcy with the courts. We were on the phone for 1 hour and 34 minutes. (Yes I checked my phone log). At the end of the call it’s determined that my house hold income exceeds the threshold for a chapter 7. This was NEVER disclosed in any conversation/email/text even though I stated multiple times this was my doing and nothing would involve my husband since everything was in my name and finances are completely separate. We end the conversation with them trying to figure out a way to fit me into this mold of what a chapter 7 needs. A few calls later it’s ultimately decided that it won’t work and chapter 13th isn’t worth it with the payments they want to pay off the debts, we agree a refund will be processed. Fast forward to today 7/28/20 I’m sent a refund e-check for 988$. They took 906$ for for a retaining appt/post retain attorney consult/data entry signing appt/ phone, mail, and email consults/ doc collection/credit report/credit counseling. As far as I’m concerned nothing was even done on their end till 7/16 the day of my attempt to file with the courts. I’m extremely frustrated that 1. They felt what they did was worth 906$ and 2. They thought it was okay to take that amount knowing someone was in the position I am. They send me an e-check and I’ve gone to 3 places that refused to take it.. so here we are waiting again. Kevin was extremely helpful I won’t knock his attempts to help me, but the businesses way of doing business is extremely greety and not with customers needs in mind.Follow up to my review. The general manager reached out and we were able to come to a reasonable number for a refund, she was very kind and was even willing to stay later to figure it out for me as well as figure out a different way to get the refund sent.

There are no benefit to file bankruptcy when your debt can be negotiated thought debt relief and consolidation programs. The only beneficiary are the Law Firms that will collect their fees BEFORE you creditors; so more than likely your creditors will request and increase of your monthly debt payments. Do not get impressed by 5 STAR reviews. There are ways the business will use site adverting tools to hide, flag and/or delete negative review by paying or not a site maintenance fee. Do your homework first. Unscrupulous Law Firms will never tell you the entire true, just so you can put a cord around you neck. Also they will use your own statements against you, claiming they are defending the law but remember; a Law Firm is just like any other business and they will protect their interests first; collect their money and leave you. Some Law Firms will commit extortion by threatening you with slender law suits, which are very hard to prove; if you dare to expose their law misuse. Keep in mind that you have FREEDOM OF SPEECH protected on the First Amendment. Good Luck and MAKE A BETTER CHOICE.

I looked them up online and referred them to my brother. My brother was in a hard spot and had to file bankruptcy. They didnt do anything to help him with the other firm that was looking to garnish him and they put a judgement on him. That other firm said they never got any notification of my brother having representation. He paid them $500 for nothing and it was really hard for him to come with that money. There were also clients at the firm saying the same thing about them getting garnished and Lincoln law not doing anything for them when my brother first went into them for his consultation. Just want people to know what they are getting into. I wish I hadnt came across this firm and recommended them to my brother.
