First of all, yes he only works on Mercedes AND he has a master tech who works on Audis in answer to the troll who gave this pro one star likely because the owner didn’t want to talk about something he wasn’t familiar with. I’ve owned Mercedes all my life and am a bit of a wrencher myself, Kc’s is the only place I know in slc that from experience knows every tiny little angle on every model made. He’s ridiculously fair, honest and punctual. His lot is always full of repeat customers which says a ton about restaurants and auto mechanics. If there were six stars available he’d get all six. Period. End of story. See anyone waxing as enthusiastic about say any other repair place? Nope.

Having just moved to Utah from Michigan, I was looking for honest and trustworthy repair shop to occasionally get ideas from for my MB 350 car. K C Car repair was a God-sent!The owner is not only extremely knowledgeable, he is personable and trustworthy. He is my go-to person now because he calls it like it is, his charges reasonable and fair, he only accepts work consistent with his expertise and make referrals out for work he doesnt do.My first visit was a drive-by for a post-dealership report evaluation. One of the priority items on the dealers list was a battery replacement, urgently. My new friend checked it out and asked, are you having any issues getting the car started? I said no. Then he asked, why are going to replace it, if theres no indication of an issue. I can replace the battery for you but you just dont need one right now. That was almost 10 months ago and my battery is still as strong as ever.Top notch!!
