I have given this company about 10 chances to do something right and not only do they drop the ball at the most crucial moments (which any event planner knows, you simply cannot afford), they refuse to take responsibility for their errors or provide compensation. I have had to do some really quick work to save my shows from disaster because they are incompetent and apparently didnt care enough to put forth the effort to save our business. As it stands, our trade show presence has suffered because of this relationship.A few of the problems:-- Missing pieces in a booth we bought from them. I had to buy the pieces from an outside vendor during installation. Skyline eventually agreed to reimburse me for the pieces, after a fight, but I had to make all the emergency arrangements myself.-- Booth panels set up backwards, when we had expressly directed them to get the order correct. Again, I had to hire Freeman labor to switch them and I made all the emergency calls and paid for Freeman labor.-- This just in: We paid to have new booth panels printed. At the largest show we attend, they installed the old panel because they accidentally didnt ship the new panel to the site. Totally and completely unacceptable.Response time: PoorCost of booth materials: Competitive, depending on the itemCost of booth labor: RidiculousCustomer service: PoorCompensation for mistakes: LaughableBooth/banner quality: Good, if they get all the pieces togetherAccounting processes: DismalWant more information? Dishonest and unwilling to fulfill their promises. The first year I rented my booth from Steve Bown at Skyline I felt very comfortable with the idea that I would be taken care of. This man is a smooth talker and knows how to make you feel like his most important client.. a great quality, until he fails to deliver and ruins your show. The first year I ended up getting charged for things that were not discussed. I overlooked it because I just chalked it up to me being new in the game of tradeshows. The second year I rented a booth and DID NOT RECEIVE IT. The day of the show their set up guy showed up without the biggest componet of my booth.. my graphics! Then They proceeded to blame me for the lost graphics - how is this possible when they promised me that they would store all my stuff from my previous show? My husband ended up doing a makeshift set up and my booth at the show was a total disaster. We had to purchase additional cables and wiring out of our own pocket to compensate for SKYLINE dropping the ball. After the show we contacted Steve Bown who ASSURED us that he felt awful and that when we did another show he would COMP us a booth since we did not receive the booth I paid for. Here we are 2 years later and I am ready to do another tradeshow.. and guess who is ducking my calls and emails.. you guessed it. Good Ol Steve. He is unwilling to follow through with his promise of comping me my booth and now is expecting me to pay him more money for ANOTHER RENTAL.. youve got to be kidding me.. Honestly I would go with another company. I know that I will never have nice things to say about Skylines horrible customer service and dishonest way of business. TRUST ME.. they are not worth the headache.

Communication is awful. Dont expect them to answer your emails or return your calls. They will eventually get the job done -- but you will have to chase them down and then they will act like it is business as usual, because it is.
