I called Keener tree service Monday, which was a holiday. He came out, Tuesday, gave me an estimate and got the job done Thursday. The price of the tree removal was very fair. They were professional, punctual and competent. I had been looking for seven weeks, to have this particular tree removed. Many other businesses we’re going to overcharge and the few that we’re going to under charge, never showed. It was a complete headache! Until, I called Keener tree service. (don’t waste your time) and call them first. Learn from my inconvenience. 😁👍

Wow! These guys are great! My husband was really concerned about the heavy equipment in the yard but they did an excellent job and were eager to please. No issues with yard damage which is amazing seeing that they cut down about 8 trees and limbed up the others so that we could see the lake better. Great price! They were so professional during the phone call and during the time the project was being done! I cannot find the words to express how wonderfully Keener Tree Service took care of my needs. They removed 8 extremely large pine trees that were right up close to my house. This will be the second time I have used them. They were highly recommended to me by several people and I am so grateful. They were right on time, they moved everything that was in their way and put everything back into its exact spot, they cleaned up any tree debris better than I clean my house and the crew were so polite, kind and professional. I called 3x ...first time they made an appt with me to estimate the work, didnt show up, texted me to see if they could come later when they were already late so I said fine after 3pm is good Ill go do my errands. I got a text after 5 saying they would need to come another day .Now Im aggravated because its really unprofessional to do this busy or not .I said Ill call you back, which I did Monday or Tuesday of the following week once I knew my schedule when I could be home. Left a message and recieved no call back or text.Guess Keener is soooo rich and soooo busy that they can alienate clients without even seeing the work ...must be nice, I couldnt afford that luxury in my career, neither could my guys.As a retired general contractor, whose worked in 13 states over 30 years and did tree work myself through my career from my early teens and the last 7 years consistently before I retired explicitly doing trees and landscaping in Charlotte, I cannot fathom this mentality of just letting work go and acting as if customers dont matter to a degree they arent worth a call,a kept appt or a free estimate.No matter how busy I was, I either scheduled an appt I could 100% make while my guys were busy, or after work hours or if need be, because of work loads and time constraints, on Saturdays even Sundays .... anything to make sure I didnt miss a scheduled appt or miss the opportunity for more work and risking making a bad name for myself before even taking a job but mostly as a courtesy, a professional courtesy to our clients new and old to make it convenient for THEM, not me, because its a service industry,and although you physically cannot satisfy every client you run across, its hard to satisfy anyone when you just dont show up or dont return calls and keep appts.... somebody missed this,many people missed this class in common sense business 101.I wish I could say Keener was the only one, but of 8 tree companies contacted,several through Thumbtack, several off Google, only 2 made an effort and only 1 actually showed up to do an estimate on 2 text book relatively easy oak removals 120 foot and 70 foot, both bucket truck accessible, no brush needing to be chipped or removed from property ..just take the 3inch and bigger firewood oak with you ... and the one estimate done, he was clearly delusional and musta seen 6 California Redwoods not 2 simple oaks with no brush chipping or removal .I actually reached out to a friend in sc to see if him and 2 of his guys would be interested in doing it for me on a weekend because clearly nobody around here needs the $ ...My crew of 4 w/o a bucket truck could do these trees including chipping by lunch this was a gravy type job we called these ... I cant figure out folks these days but it obvious why customers dont trust contractors anymore .
